My daughter's birthday is close to Halloween so one year when she was young we had a Halloween themed birthday party. I made this using vanilla oreos and put some food color in to make it look like cat litter and put it all in a new cat litter pan and even bought a brand new cat litter scoop. I got tootsie rolls and put them in the microwave to soften for a few second. Twisted the ends to look like cat poop and placed these on top. It was a huge hit with all the kids. She is 21 and her friends still talk about the cat litter cake. Some may think its gross but it was wonderful memories that I will never forget.
Ummmm... whoever gave this video a thumbs 👎.....can go away....lol I just don't get it??? You can't go wrong with this yummy little dessert!!! Anyways, great video and instructional Jeri....my youngest daughter is starting to take interest in cooking and making desserts lately and I'll be sure to email this recipe to her. Tfs....great video and God Bless Jeri 😊👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍💖
👋🏼Hi! That would be me. Some of us don’t want to use things like cool whip or boxed pudding because it’s loaded with chemicals and quite frankly I think these large food corporations can’t be trusted. Have you seen their board of directors? There’s usually executives from Big Pharma, I wonder why... If I’m going to make a dessert, I’m going to do it with real whipped cream and pudding made from scratch. Both of which are extremely easy, take no time at all and don’t contain scary ingredients that are going to make me chronically ill over time.
One of my favs! This recipe came out in the 90's I made it for my Sunday school class and put it in individual clear punch glasses I had 2 lttle girls thats started screaming they thought it was real dirt and worms lol
I love making this for a summer party. I have a tulip flower pot I use and a bundle of fake tulip flowers I put in the center!! I always buy the clear wide mouth cups from DT and gummy worms for the kids as when I serve it 😉
I made dirt cake for one summer for one of my daughter's b-day party, I put it in sand pails with little shovels and toy dump trucks with gummy worms in it, kids loved it!
Jeri-Ann that dirt recipe looks delicious!!! This is so cool looking. I "need" to make this soon!😂 I can't believe I was the first to comment! 😂I feel I won the lotto! Lol 😃thank you for all you do.😍❤️❤️❤️
Ahhh...you're kind of back home again in the kitchen! A familiar place where I'm used to visiting with u. Good to see u again Jeri-Ann putting this delicious, easy, inexpensive dessert tog. for this less than ambitious baker. Could u use regular whipped cream for this recipe in place of Cool Whip? Thanks for the dollop hint to break up the cream cheese. Have tasted this treat in the past and liked it. Happy September!
I’m trying to find the original recipe that my mom used to make in the 90s! & every recipe I find uses powdered sugar 😑 this is how she used to make it & I hope it turns out well!
