Nice one Sam, good to see the SAS spitting in the eye, of the naysayers. A shout out to MFL’s top box dividers, I would never Have a top box without them. Simple and brilliant.
@@SamVBikes Well I traded the 23' GT Explorer for a 24' SAS. Not sure if I made the right decision. Bought the wra screen that you recommended and it was too short, bought the Givi D7713st screen and that works better for me. I'm 6' with a 34" leg and the rider triangle sucks compared to the GT Explorer. I did 1 3/4" rox risers so now the handle bar position is decent. I have the standard height ergo heated seat in the high position and my knees kill me after an hour of riding. The foot pegs are way too high compared to the tiger. I found some pegs that are 3/4" to 1" lower but I haven't found a lowered gearshift lever or brake lever to match the pegs. Pretty frustrating situation because I could sit on the GT Explorer for 3-4 hours before needing a break which happened to be when I needed fuel.
Ahh that's a shame! Did you manage to test ride it for long before you traded it in? I know a few people who are over 6ft which have no issues so maybe their legs are shorter and torso longer
@@SamVBikes I was only able to demo it for about 30min. My knees aren't great to begin with so hopefully I can figure something out. I tried the MT 10 and tracer 9 and the foot peg position on those are way worse.
Yeah a few people have said about the pegs so hopefully there will be a solution on the market. So annoying when some companies won't let you take a bike out for more than an hour.. the exact reason I don't have a Tuono in the garage because they were going to ask me to spend £18k on a bike after a 30min test ride 😂

Too right! The old girl still has plenty of life in her! 100k miles maybe 😉
Definitely agree with the dividers! Brilliant things

@@SamVBikes you're welcome mate, how long have you been doing this, It's a few years now?
@michaelmclarney1994 Yeah, I think it's probably 3 or 4 years now. So a good amount of time. Dread to think how many hours of editing haha
8:30 That's not a top box. That's a foot locker!

Which is perfectly organised ☺️

Was a fantastic one! Just worked really well all day. We will have to do it one day
👍👍👍
😘😘
Sam, you're making it hard not to want a 1290 sas, I have 18,500 miles on my Tiger 1200 GT Explorer, might have to trade it in.
Hahaha! Honestly the best decision I've ever made! Plus that airbox and exhaust turn it up to 11
