And this is you doing it yourself. Just think if someone like myself wrapped it...not everyone likes patches, pieces, vinyl lifting....but yes it does happen. Even To the best of them
A lot of the lifted areas should have been done as seperate pieces. Vinyl was stretched a bit too far, thats why its lifted. Looks very nice overall though.
As always Caleb, great video. Look forward to playing at cones with you this season. I've done vinyl work in the past and for anyone that thinks it's easy - try it. Keep kicking ass.

This, and a couple other videos, have persuaded me NOT to get a wrap. Good video my friend, thanks for taking the time to post this, very helpful.
I'm kinda inclined to agree. Like he alluded to in the video, if he got a high gloss or even just a solid pattern, those would be a lot more noticeable. :/
You have to be a total clean freak to handle car wraps, only 3m seems to last more than 3 years, the chinese stuff with all the cool colors will only last a year or 2 NEVER wrap an entire vehicle inn the chinese stuff, there is no choice though if you love custom looks, vinyl wrap is god.
Such a great video man! Thanks for the info. What part of CT are you? I live in Danbury and was looking to get my front lip spoiler wrap in glossy black. Tried painting it but the paint crack all the time!
I've had my car wrapped in 2015 and it was in storage until 2022 and it was all faded and damaged looking because the storage garage had a window with sun coming in from time to time . I finally found a way to kindof restore the glossy look . No videos on RUclips really explain or help you at all or suggest rubbing paint thinner and drying it

I bought a car from a dealer and once I got the vin # I realized my car is wrapped! I know nothing about it so thanks for this video!!! I am trying to learn about it. The dealer doesn’t even know when the wrap was put on the 2015 Challenger GT. It is a really cool different looking matte or satin black with the red stripes placed on. Only reason I checked the vin was the inner door jam color was pitch black glossy instead of the unique paint /wrap I thought was on the car. Any tips on cleaning it? Or tips at all??
I just use soap and water :) look into some detailer sprays as they make wrap specifically for it. It's a great mod and protects the original color as well
Intro volume is set way 2 high, other than that thanks for doing this video. Was curious about problems you could find in the long run (I don't even own a car xD) Wonder how the car would look like if you add a new different color on the edges of the cars where the vinyl suffer the most.

@blackpearlmedia7797 that's awesome so it held up well. I drive a jaguar ftype and am considering wrapping. I'm located in longisland. Was curious if you knew anyone like your guy that could do the cheaper wrap. "Baller on a budget" 🤣
It shouldn't do any damage although I'm sure if you remove it wrong and your paint job is garbage it might. I'll let you know as I will be removing mine this year! No idea on prices. You will have to call and get some quotes
Don't soend thousands of dollars on a paint job??? It seems like people are charging thousands of dollars on a wrap job that is not guaranteed to last as long as paint. Some people don't have a garage, what happens to the wrap if you park your car daily outside no shade???
I don't have a garage and it lives in the sun. Still looking great! Also 1600 for a wrap is not bad for a color change. 1600 paint jobs (professional) won't get you much. I'm a fan of rustlolium spray can paint jobs if your looking for a budget option.
Wrap protects the paint job? No, actually it messes up the paint. Their's a video where some guys are peeling off the wrap on a Subaru and it chipped off part of the original paint.
There are proper procedures for taking it off and a lot of times guys leave it on for to long. I am one of those guys and will be removing the wrap in 2023. I'll be making an update video 🤙
I'd say it's worth it. Seems to have held up good, and is perfect for doing something that really stands out from the crowd like this
