My family lost 5 this year. My pepaw who gave to whoever needed, my mother in law who was there when I had no one else. A couple family friends, my son's grandfather who stepped up to be the father figure in his life. Peace be to all who have lost loved ones.
RIP to those and to ones we didn't know who passed. I lost 4 amazing friends. Each life could have made a bestselling book. We're all special to someone. RIP.
@repentandbelieveinJesusChrist1 This is NOT the way to get people to follow Jesus! This is how you will drive them away!! On RUclips anyway. I am a Christian, I get your beliefs are powerful and you want to spread the good news but stuff like this is why I lost faith for awhile. First of all, everyone has sinned and we all know this already. You're on a video that isn't your own, a video that is a memoriam to those that passed in 2022. You couldn't have thought of a more fitting verse? Have you ever read The Bible in it's entirety or are you someone that cherry-picks verses and then spams the comments everywhere using The Bible for your own agenda and not for Jesus. Second of all, this is about as rude as if you walked into a funeral and started preaching out loud while everyone is mourning, only you aren't the pastor that is doing the funeral, you're someone that showed up with grieving, respectful people to watch a tribute video and you fail to 'read the room' and just do what you feel is okay for you instead of the entirety of the group. 3rd, you are spamming the comments. What are you a Comment Evangelist or something? You sit around trying to force the word on people in a hostile way that makes nobody want to pay attention. Nobody wants to listen with this approach. Why not actually do something real to promote Jesus and get people to listen? Make shorts with Bible quotes and EXPLAIN them, how they came to be, their origins, who wrote them (if you know) and why they are relevant and how they pertain to life. Instead you randomly attack people making it look like they are doing something wrong by saying what they commented and tell them to repent. How do you think this approach is effective? You can't just go around telling people to repent, nobody is going to wanna listen to you. I don't know who taught you this was the way to get people to pay attention to Jesus and read the Bible but they are misguided and so are you. You need to repent too, stop pointing your fingers at others in judgement because it seems you think everyone is doing something wrong and it's your place to tell them they are wrong and to repent. Don't hijack someone else's comment and try to make it your own either, that's rude. It's disrespectful to those that passed that are in this video and disrespectful to those that are here watching it or that have commented. If you want to get people to pay attention to Jesus, stop this ridiculousness and find a better way. You have no videos, no shorts, nothing other than some verses on your channel. If you are on a mission to get people to pay attention to Christ then you gotta do better than this. All you do is spam comments with the same thing over and over. What do you really think that is going to achieve??

Seeing Christine McVie on this list makes me teary-eyed because I love Fleetwood Mac. I had the entire Rumours album on repeat this year and You Make Loving Fun was my most listened to song. I love Christine's voice. I didn't know that Estelle Harris or Liz Sheridan died this year. I had thought Estelle Harris died years ago. Liz Sheridan I could see dying this year but Estelle Harris was a surprise. All of these amazing celebrities will be missed.

her death hit me hard i have so many of her singles, cds, lps and films on dvd and video been a fan since the early 70s. christine mcvie also i met her and the rest of fleetwood mac when i was their paper-boy at the mansion in headley
The ones in this tribute that really got to me were Bob Saget, Gilbert Gottfried, Angela Lansbury and Meat Loaf. Considering the impact of Meat Loaf's music alone, there should have been a tribute to him and Jim Steinman at this year's Grammys.
Damn.....this is the 1st year were the loss feels so intense. I grew up with so many of these entertainers and media personalities. As I move towards mid-life, I feel like its my full-time job to remind my-self and others, to LIVE it UP. Sentimental BS like this just makes the message crystal clear.....this life is infact "The Greatest Show On Earth"
I think this was put together and edited VERY well. Of course, they will add the last remaining of 2022 at some other time, but this was absolutely a beautiful memoriam!!💗
My family unfortunately lost someone as well this year: my great-grandmother, Flora Calello. She was a wonderful person in our family and she knew how to brighten up someone's day. She showed us how being kind and caring could mean so much to others and when others wanted to show hate toward one another, she taught us to show love instead. There are so many lessons in life one could learn from someone, and these are the lessons I will remember from her for years to come. RIP Flora Calello, queen of the flowers. Until we see each other again. We love you.
It hurt me to my soul to hear that Christine Mcvie passed away , wow, I’ve never had the chance all my life to see Fleetwood Mac live, now I won’t get the chance. When certain legendary artists pass away, it double saddened because you know you will never get the chance to see them live again.. RIP Christine 💐💐💐🎤🎤🎹🎹🎹🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
I had no idea Irene Cara passed away. I was 4 years old when I heard a song called "Out here on my own". I loved it. I wasn't old enough yet to know what lyrics were and what they meant, but many years later I appreciate beautiful voices singing beautiful songs. From what I understand after her success in the 80s with "Fame", "Anyone can see", "Flashdance" and "DC Cab" at some point she was bitten by the drug bug, and she was treated poorly in the music business.
HUMANS AND LIVES ON THIS PHYSICAL EARTH....NO MATTER HOW RICH OR POOR, RACE, RELIGIONS. THE ONE MOST COMMON WE'RE ALL HAVE IS DEATH, NO ONECAN'T ESCAPE IT....."BE KIND TO ONE ANOTHER..." 😢🙌
Taylor Hawkins you were my favorite drummer, I'm so sorry I never got to see you live, but I bet you all that Heaven is having the greatest Concert we can only imagine. And Kevin Conroy was not just an actor. He was Vengeance. He was the Knight, HE. WAS. BATMAN!

Is it just me, or so many famous people passed away this year than years past? RIP to everyone who lost their lives and thank you for your contributions to art & culture!!!
This year's passing of artists hit really hard. Some are still hard to bare. Then you throw in people that were killed in the Ukraine. It's been another year of strange and tragic deaths the world round. All we can do is try to do better so that the people we lost didn't die in vane. See ya on the flip side...🌴
We also lost: - Howard Hesseman (WKRP in Cincinnati) - Leslie Phillips (voice of the Sorting Hat in Harry Potter) - Vangellis (composer of Blade Runner and Chariots of Fire) - Mitchell Ryan (Lethal Weapon, Judge Dredd, and Halloween 6) - Monty Norman (007 theme composer) - Clarence Gilyard Jr (Die Hard) - Wolfgang Peterson (Das Boot and Air Force One director)

I cannot belive that you forgot about jason david frank and Jane "nightbirde" Marczewski (sorry if I spelt that wrong) Jason David frank was an influence in this world, and I still cry sometimes about his death He was a shining light in this world, and he deserves some respect. NOT EVEN NBC ACNOLAGED HIM! Nightbirde was probably the one that hit me the hardest I am a huge agt fan and on the second day of AGT Extreme the news broke out I couldn't believe it at least she got respected in the next episode.
so sad and heart touching .... may all of them rest in peace.... their spirits still lives ...... I wanna thank them all, for all their beautiful works left on this MOTHER EARTH....❤ watched this from UGANDA
I ready to end this year of depression. 2022 has been a VERY depressing year for all of us! People who we love and care about we lost them, places we like to go were gone, items we like to buy got discontinued, shows we like to watch were finished, and People lost their interests of what they like. I understand that things change and nothing last forever, everything that happen this year just ENDED all at once! And People say there will be much worse things in the future, but that's people who wanted to make it worse. So we cannot let that happen. We can change in a good way, for a better tomorrow. So I want to END this awful year and start a better tomorrow for all of us.
I feel the same, lost our family business our loved ones and even long standing friendships just faded during Covid .Praying for God's grace and mercy is all we can hold onto for 2023 !

Agree, rest in peace Christine.Godspeed to you.Rocking in rock and roll heaven.💜💐✌🏻
We forgot Dan Mccaferty of the band Nazareth RIP Dan
2022 was relentless! Some of them were still so young. 😮💨
Died suddenly
I had no idea that Twitch died. I knew about him from the Ellen show, and even though I don’t really care for the show, I’ve always loved Twitch and his energy.
Kristie Allie's death was a shock to me too. A lot of her movies were a big part of my childhood.
May their souls rest in peace
Twitcb killed himself which shocked everyone as nobody saw it coming
Twitch I had never heard of but sad nonetheless. Kirstie Allie was a shock to me as well.
@@maidahaltrecht6577 He was on the show "So you think you can dance" 2 seasons I don't quite remember. It's been so long but the first time he didn't win but people liked him and then he return and won the show then he took off from there into TV. When I heard I didn't know it was him till I remember from that show
@@Arz2003 Thanks. Very sad.
I'm sad that Hagrid died :( I liked him so much in Harry Potter!
Holy smokes. That's a heck of a lot of amazing people lost. R.I.P.
So sad😢
Happy new year darling 🎄
RIP to everyone on this list
Also missing
Jason David Frank - The Green Ranger

RIP JASON DAVID FRANK
So many greats lost in 2022. This piece was nicely done. Thanks for this tribute.
MIA, it’s truly your “MAGNETISM “ that’s determined to get to sway you in business, kindness, clean words will definitely help. God Bless!
R.I.P Robbie Coltrane, I can’t imagine anyone else acting Hagrid as well as you did 🕊. And R.I.P to all the other beautiful lives we’ve lost this year.

No one ever has a complete list but I appreciate the compilation. I usually miss some folks along the way.
This shows you how short life is let’s love make momories forgive and smile cause our time is coming think about it you will be a tribute too so live don’t hate or cry live
Feels like my childhood is passing away as I watch … getting teary. But of course, death is the only promise made to the living. Rest well 🌹

Rest in peace to legends 🙏🙏🙏
Gratitude to all of them for their creactive contributions - especially our favorite lovely ladies, 💋 Olivia Newton-John and Irena Cara RIP❤️ 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Rest in Peace and thank you for the contributions you have made... all of you. God Bless your families who grieve your loss.
They should've add Queen Elizabeth II, Shinzo Abe, and Jiang Zemin.
I know Abe and Jiang were controversial figures, but they gave some contributions to their respective countries.
12/31 Update: Barbara Walters and Pope Benedict XVI just passed away.
Good save. They left out people of consequence. Thanx for reminding us.
Oh I'm Asian woww
@@Angelina-ed5cj Excuse me?
And also Former Philippines President Fidel V. Ramos
I forgot Shinzo Abe died this past year. It feels like it happened farther back than that. I was upset when I heard he had died.
What a year🥺 fly high angels🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Yeah… that’s true
Happy new year darling, I’m Grant I must confess your post are really nice . Would mind be friendship??
This was great. Thanks for that awesome tribute ❤.
We all know 2022 was a tragic year. May all of them rest peacefully.
you forgot someone, my grandmother/best friend at age 80. she was a fighter battling dementia for so many years. Grandma i love and miss you. You might not be known in masses like these but you were loved greatly by every one who knew you.
We lost too many iconic musicians/singers this year. The hit makers from my generation are leaving us. I'll never get over losing Olivia Newton-John.
her death hit me hard i have so many of her singles, cds, lps and films on dvd and video been a fan since the early 70s. christine mcvie also i met her and the rest of fleetwood mac when i was their paper-boy at the mansion in headley
Olivia is an icon, what a beautiful person and talent!
The ones in this tribute that really got to me were Bob Saget, Gilbert Gottfried, Angela Lansbury and Meat Loaf. Considering the impact of Meat Loaf's music alone, there should have been a tribute to him and Jim Steinman at this year's Grammys.
Yeah, Iago was just one of those characters you can never forget. Like Shenzi from Lion King aka Whoopi Goldberg
I had completed forgot he passed until this tribute and was just sad all over again
@@virginiacorvello5553 Are you a fan of Meat Loaf and if so which one of his songs is your favorite and why?
Damn.....this is the 1st year were the loss feels so intense. I grew up with so many of these entertainers and media personalities. As I move towards mid-life, I feel like its my full-time job to remind my-self and others, to LIVE it UP. Sentimental BS like this just makes the message crystal clear.....this life is infact "The Greatest Show On Earth"
I think this was put together and edited VERY well. Of course, they will add the last remaining of 2022 at some other time, but this was absolutely a beautiful memoriam!!💗
Rest in peace Irene Cara: One of the most salient singers of my life.
Thank you for a lifetime of song, love, and most importantly, hope.
Watching this I was crying. I loss my friend Paulette in June. I miss her so much.
I'm so sorry you lost your friend. I can't imagine how much you miss her but I hope you two friends had many wonderful memories together.
Good friends are special and never really leave us. May you find comfort and peace in the wonderful times you had together.
Sorry for your loss. I lost a close friend too in July and was in shock having no idea she was so sick.
My condolences
May the lord strenghen you an give you peace 🙏💕
I had no idea Irene Cara passed away. I was 4 years old when I heard a song called "Out here on my own". I loved it. I wasn't old enough yet to know what lyrics were and what they meant, but many years later I appreciate beautiful voices singing beautiful songs. From what I understand after her success in the 80s with "Fame", "Anyone can see", "Flashdance" and "DC Cab" at some point she was bitten by the drug bug, and she was treated poorly in the music business.
The Amount is Staggering, This last year was a year of Great Loss of Many Great People 💔
My mom died at the age 35 this year due to fighting 2 years of cancer. R.I.p to the list lives in 2022 and families of loved ones
My mom passed on July 2022😢
My mom passed away on June 29th 2022. I’m sorry I hear about that
Mine in June 20th 2021. My Life will not be the same. It shall be well guys.

Taylor Hawkins you were my favorite drummer, I'm so sorry I never got to see you live, but I bet you all that Heaven is having the greatest Concert we can only imagine. And Kevin Conroy was not just an actor. He was Vengeance. He was the Knight, HE. WAS. BATMAN!
There is a video of his son playing drum on Hero🥹
He'd be still alive if Dave Grohl hadn't made everyone get vaccinated.
Rest well to all these legends 💔🙏🏾Y’all will be missed so much

The good shows are all in heaven now with our shining stars 💖💖💖
Rest in eternal heavenly peace

You must be Born again God says in His word💯💯
Believe in Jesus and repent of your sin my friends. Jesus is coming soon and if you die before He comes and didn’t RECIEVE Him you will not know Him for His love but rather His wrath.
That's if you believe all that nonsense,we go into oblivion like anything that dies ,we are nothing
They forgot:
Jean Luc Godard (Film Director/Screenwriter)
Mark Lanegan (vocalist) Screaming Trees
Andy Fletcher (keyboards) Depeche Mode
Paul Ryder (bass) Happy Mondays
Terry Hall (vocalist) The Specials
Keith Levene (guitarist) Public Image Limited

D.H. Peligro (drummer) Dead Kennedys
Alan White (drummer) Yes
Martin Duff (keyboards) Felt / Primal Scream
Pele (Brazilian soccer legend)
Vivian Westwood (Punk fashion designer)
They may have, but you didn't and that counts for something.
No matter how much people you fit in it there will always be some people left out

They forgot probably the biggest one of the year: Queen Elizabeth II of England
Also, Pelé just died today. This was posted two days ago.
Wow! That list was mind blowing! So many unbelievably talented people gone.....way before their time. May they all rest in peace!
Irene Cara ... Who can ever forget her performance in Flashdance?
Irene Cara. My true "Fame". This song will always be my legacy where it won me in a singing competition and since then, that's how I knew her.
God these all hurt. So much talent and love. Taylor, Christine,Olivia,Sngela, Sydney, Coolio, and too long a damn list.
Thank You Robin,
Bill said it best...
He couldn't go to heaven because the life that he lived would have been a step down.
He chose to step down life...
They have wonderful Worldly Legacies...
I hope they have a Legacy in heaven too, that allow them entrance into Eternal Life, through Jesus Christ✝️💜
Is it just me, or so many famous people passed away this year than years past?
RIP to everyone who lost their lives and thank you for your contributions to art & culture!!!
Yes I feel the same
No, we lost many more the last two years due to Covid..
Yes it seems like that but 2016 was the worst Imo! It seemed like someone famous was dying every other day back to back. It was hard to keep up!
I say that every year. I think that there are just more “famous” people now with do much more media.
2016 was bad as well
This year's passing of artists hit really hard. Some are still hard to bare. Then you throw in people that were killed in the Ukraine. It's been another year of strange and tragic deaths the world round. All we can do is try to do better so that the people we lost didn't die in vane. See ya on the flip side...🌴
Can’t forget the mass shootings also 🙏🏽
So many unexpected deaths in 2022, some left out of this memoriam. I am still not over some of them. May they all Rest Well. 🙏🏼
RIP to all who passed.
We also lost:
- Howard Hesseman (WKRP in Cincinnati)
- Leslie Phillips (voice of the Sorting Hat in Harry Potter)
- Vangellis (composer of Blade Runner and Chariots of Fire)
- Mitchell Ryan (Lethal Weapon, Judge Dredd, and Halloween 6)
- Monty Norman (007 theme composer)
- Clarence Gilyard Jr (Die Hard)
- Wolfgang Peterson (Das Boot and Air Force One director)
Nooooooooooooooooooo
Clarence Gilyard Jr was also on Walker Texas Ranger
Yeah!

Kevin Conroy and Jason David Frank as well, two legendary icons of a 90s and 2000s childhood, gone in less than a week of each other.
I cannot belive that you forgot about jason david frank and Jane "nightbirde" Marczewski (sorry if I spelt that wrong)
Jason David frank was an influence in this world, and I still cry sometimes about his death He was a shining light in this world, and he deserves some respect. NOT EVEN NBC ACNOLAGED HIM!
Nightbirde was probably the one that hit me the hardest I am a huge agt fan and on the second day of AGT Extreme the news broke out I couldn't believe it at least she got respected in the next episode.
Seriously. Literally a childhood hero to so many and overlooked completely.
And they forgot Kevin Conroy, the voice of Batman for 30 freaking years!
@@justinjohnson2 Kevin conroy was known only to Batman fans, not to the general public. Maybe THAT's why he was not mentioned.
Thank you for including Takeoff🚀🕊💔😢😢
They used Quavo’s picture at first
Beautifully done but one name was missing so I will forever say Rest in Peace Jason David Frank ❤️ #JDF
Hello I’m Grant I must confess your post are really nice . Would mind be friendship??
so sad and heart touching .... may all of them rest in peace.... their spirits still lives ...... I wanna thank them all, for all their beautiful works left on this MOTHER EARTH....❤ watched this from UGANDA
I lost my 73 year old paternal grandfather from a stroke back in October
RIP 🪦🕊️🙏🏽
There are a couple they forgot:
Queen Elizabeth II: Queen of England
Technoblade: Twitch Streamer & RUclipsr
Yep, same here
The special The Year 2022 has an entire segment for Queen Elizabeth II
TECHNOBLADE NEVER DIES
They didn't mention anything about Bob Saget
TECHNOBLADE NEVER DIES

So many beautiful souls have gone on in 2022; they will be sorely missed.
These people were one of a kind. They don't make them like that anymore 💖

Of course it has been. People die every year. And every year people like you say the same exact thing.
