Nice beautiful day down at the courthouse park!! I hunted there ONCE a few years ago, and you're right- usually lots of wheat pennies and silver dimes. Glad to hear that the cops don't care. I will have to start going back there. Hey if anything, a nice clad day is always good 👍

It is a decent spot to hit from time to time. Just landed a Barder dime on my recent video...so will for sure be going back while ground it still damp.

It is for sure...just had my heart set on old stuff after the rain we had. After the up averaging of ID all day...I was a bit frustrated.
That’s the oldest park in town.
Pulled out a couple of silver half dimes at 7 inches out of that park with the CTX. You did very well that park has been pounded.
Thanks! Pulled a shallow Barber dime a few months back, a few Mercs, and like 30 wheats, all shallow. I used to go on Sundays to avoid the lawyers and Sheriffs working, but a couple dudes who I never met (guessing they watch my channel) have been going every Sunday. I am an introvert so never introduce myself...they can have the leftovers. 👍

that thing with the cross looks like a tool that each open side is a different size nut/bolt size. should be another end on it for even smaller nut/bolts the whole tool is probably 4-5in long

Great site to hunt. Nice hunt with the ORX. Where I use to work the squirrels would run up your leg and sit on your shoulder for a handout😂

Thanks Cynthia! It is super light and easy to swing. I am loving it.
I have the same ID inconsistency with the HF coil on the Deus. The X35 coil "seems" to be better. A normalize ID function for the HF coil would be nice. It also has the ID lag you mention in your live video. On the plus side, to my surprise, in 54khz it hits both small gold and silver at reasonable depths.
Good to know I'm not going crazy. I will be keeping it in mind when soil conditions are wet. The ID lag is bonkers. To skimp on such a feature to say "it's not a Deus" is about as cheap as a company can get. It needs an update to fix it.
Should have mentioned before I commented below, rain or mineralization may be the reason, but not knowing the program or settings, whether custom or factory, we will never know.

It is a great clad stabber in my opinion. Hits the deep stuff too...but this place is way too trashy for wide open hunting. There was a guy there with a bag of nuts...looked like a male Pocahontas. 😁

Thanks man. It was getting on my nerves I must admit. 😎 I don't get that with my T2 or Nokta detectors...but...never hunted that location after a rain. Usually rock hard there. Can't wait for that Deus 2...I'm really looking forward to it after time with this Orx. This Orx surprised me. I knew it would be a great relic and prospector...but it actually does quite well on the high conductors, even in the 30 and 50kHz ranges. Having a lot of fun with it.
So you are using the round coil instead of the elliptical coil. Could you still have used the elliptical coil with similar results there?
Is the ORX any good to use on the beach ? What coil would you use?
