Great video.. Great product with great results.. I live in the northeast what would you recommend to use over my complete lawn which has a lot of weeds without killing the grass? Thanks..
I’ve had good results using this product as well… Depending on the size of your yard they also make a a bottle that attaches to your hose. BioAdvanced All-In-One Lawn Weed and Crabgrass Killer I, Concentrate, 40 oz a.co/d/4sySiR6
Its late summer in Ohio, Morning glorys have taken over my vegetable garden and won. In the next couple weeks, I'm planning to strip it, rake out the remains, and treat the surface side of the soil with a garden torch. Then, I want to use this product until i see no regrowth, which may take me into the fall. However, if I add fertilizer in the spring, would I still be able to grow vegetables next year?
If using an organic fertilizer I don’t see why not but then again I’m not a gardener so I’m not familiar with what’s in season when or how long it takes to grow. However, with gardening it seems that one should be more proactive than reactive when it comes to weeds. Friends I have are usually picking weeds on a daily basis so not to have to take time out to spray chemical weed killers.
The right ratio is essential. If proper care of the lawn, you will not have all these weeds. Also 24d amine is highly poisonous, so goggles, long pants and shirt, gloves and no wind.
This is an excellent question. In the very fine print it probably lists over 100 weeds. I don’t recall it specifically mentioning wildflowers. What I really like about this product is that it only takes 1.5 oz per gallon and it’s a good size container. However, wildflowers may/may not be considered a “weed”. I would consider a round up alternative that will pretty much anything such as Spectracide Weed and Grass Killer. Spectracide Weed and Grass Killer Concentrate with AccuMeasure, 32 oz
Definitely apply in warmer temperature when weeds are growing. Take a look at your 10 day forecast. I probably wouldn’t apply if rain’s expected with a couple days.
This stuff does not kill crabgrass to my knowledge just most of your broadleaf weeds. For crabgrass you gonna need some BioAdvanced crabgrass killer that you can pick at Lowe’s for about $13 or some Spectracide Weed Stop plus Crabgrass killer at Home Depot for about 12 bucks. I’ve got another video about the BioAdvanced. It definitely works!
@@thomasc6127 BioAdvanced shouldn’t kill your grass just make sure you read the label and mix up the appropriate amount. Depending on how much crabgrass you got they’ve got a hose end type you use with the water hose that treats up to 5,000 sq ft or you can grab a bottle and mix up in your sprayer.
Well dang! I thought it worked very well But completely agree! I’ve been searching for a weed killer that will kill weeds and they’ll be gone completely within a few days but I just haven’t been able to find the product to do it. Any suggestions??? Thanks for your comment
@@thenicgatesshowI have read adding ammonium sulfate to your sprayer makes the weed killer more effective cause of the nitrogen in the product makes the weeds absorb the weed killer better
Thank you for your comment and for bringing this to my attention. I will strive to become better. I happy too say that, regardless of my horrible spray pattern and overuse of the product. The grass looks terrific!
I love this guy! He's funny and entertaining and naturally down to earth. He makes a great instructional video.
I appreciate your comment. Thanks so much for watching!!!
2-4d is what I use and I switch between it and other one 😊
It’s a good product 😊

Wish I watched this before applying! Think I put too much 24D. Thanks for the video, I’ll know for next time!
You got this!!!
Bottle to 19 gallons is what I use 😮
It works and doesn’t kill my grass
Hi Nic, Hope you are doing well. After weeds are eradicated, the empty patches can be filled with beach or river sand. pls suggest
Yes you can! With Bermuda, if you mow it low and often, every 2-3 days, will help it to spread as well.
Pretty much everything from Southern AG is top notch, never had any issues
A local lawn care company applied 2 4 D to my St Augustine lawn and there are dead spots all over now. It killed the grass.
2 4 D is not meant for St Augustine. 😢
It says RIGHT on the label not to apply it to that type of grass lol. Fire that lawn company. Sorry that happened to you.

Surfactant makes water wetter! So the material does not bead and roll off the leaf

If you cut your grass at 4 inches instead of dirt it will choke the weeds out!
How often should you use this?
It’s def a reactive product. I’ve used it at any point I see weeds in the yard.
Does this kill wildflowers? I need alot wiped out

Nice. A Fan tip spray would have been a more even application.
Does the temperature matter ? Rain etc..

I have a ton of crab grass type weeds that people say this doesn’t kill smh

Your spraying pattern is awful......WAY TO MUCH product on the test spot. Get the right spray tip.
