    Hi Nic, Hope you are doing well. After weeds are eradicated, the empty patches can be filled with beach or river sand. pls suggest

    • @thenicgatesshow
      @thenicgatesshow  27 дней назад +1

      Yes you can! With Bermuda, if you mow it low and often, every 2-3 days, will help it to spread as well.

      It says RIGHT on the label not to apply it to that type of grass lol. Fire that lawn company. Sorry that happened to you.

    Its late summer in Ohio, Morning glorys have taken over my vegetable garden and won.
    In the next couple weeks, I'm planning to strip it, rake out the remains, and treat the surface side of the soil with a garden torch. Then, I want to use this product until i see no regrowth, which may take me into the fall.
    However, if I add fertilizer in the spring, would I still be able to grow vegetables next year?

    • @thenicgatesshow
      @thenicgatesshow  2 месяца назад

      If using an organic fertilizer I don’t see why not but then again I’m not a gardener so I’m not familiar with what’s in season when or how long it takes to grow. However, with gardening it seems that one should be more proactive than reactive when it comes to weeds. Friends I have are usually picking weeds on a daily basis so not to have to take time out to spray chemical weed killers.

    Surfactant makes water wetter! So the material does not bead and roll off the leaf

    The right ratio is essential. If proper care of the lawn, you will not have all these weeds. Also 24d amine is highly poisonous, so goggles, long pants and shirt, gloves and no wind.

    Does this kill wildflowers? I need alot wiped out

    • @thenicgatesshow
      @thenicgatesshow  Год назад +1

      This is an excellent question. In the very fine print it probably lists over 100 weeds. I don’t recall it specifically mentioning wildflowers. What I really like about this product is that it only takes 1.5 oz per gallon and it’s a good size container. However, wildflowers may/may not be considered a “weed”. I would consider a round up alternative that will pretty much anything such as Spectracide Weed and Grass Killer.

    • @thenicgatesshow
      @thenicgatesshow  6 месяцев назад +1

      Definitely apply in warmer temperature when weeds are growing. Take a look at your 10 day forecast. I probably wouldn’t apply if rain’s expected with a couple days.

    I have a ton of crab grass type weeds that people say this doesn’t kill smh

    • @thenicgatesshow
      @thenicgatesshow  2 месяца назад

      This stuff does not kill crabgrass to my knowledge just most of your broadleaf weeds. For crabgrass you gonna need some BioAdvanced crabgrass killer that you can pick at Lowe’s for about $13 or some Spectracide Weed Stop plus Crabgrass killer at Home Depot for about 12 bucks. I’ve got another video about the BioAdvanced. It definitely works!

      @@thenicgatesshow only issue is I’ve got fescue grass so definitely not trying to kill it. Will the bioadvanced kill the weeds but not the grass?

    • @thenicgatesshow
      @thenicgatesshow  2 месяца назад

      @@thomasc6127 BioAdvanced shouldn’t kill your grass just make sure you read the label and mix up the appropriate amount. Depending on how much crabgrass you got they’ve got a hose end type you use with the water hose that treats up to 5,000 sq ft or you can grab a bottle and mix up in your sprayer.
