LCN…I’ve been a viewer for a few years now and I’ve enjoyed all your content. I’ve noticed in the last year you have experimented with a new style and type of videos as you try to be creative and come up with new content. However, I’d just like the say that the normal, everyday, necessary tasks that you undertake in your yard and project lawns each year are more than enough to keep me coming back to view your content. Looking forward to what the 2023 season has to offer! God bless brother!

Bring on summer. I'm about to purchase my fert and N-ext for the spring, summer, and fall. I found Allen back in 2018. The year before, it was our first summer in our house (first homeowners). I had no clue what I was doing with weed control, water, fertilizer, etc. So I hired True Green for the first summer we were there. My lawn was garbage. So I fired them and in January of 2018 I started looking into doing it myself and I found Allen. So glad I did. My lawn was lush and green that summer in 95-degree heat (my grass is KGB). I remember a day I came back from a fishing trip and nothing made me prouder to turn on the street I live on and seeing this green, thick lawn that was suffering and dying the previous summer, going to the backyard, and cracking open a beer and taking in the how good my backyard looked. I never turned back. Stick to a schedule. Lawn care doesn't have to take up your life. Feed it, water, it, and mow it at least once a week and it'll do the rest. Thanks for the work you put in to educate us, Allen.

I have Zoysia grass that I'm planning on overseeding this spring because of some drought damage last year and poor sprinkler coverage. So this year, I purchased some Zoysia seed and going to try and put it out and see if that helps. My question is how long should I wait to put the seed down after applying the Image and Pre-Emergent? My thinking is that if I put the seed down now, these weed killers would hurt the seed correct?

Hey Allyn, I see that you didn't use glyphosate on the FF although, it is ProVista. As an owner of Provista I am curious to know if that was strategy, or, if you were demonstrating the Image product. In other words, should I keep spraying the glyphosate as necessary or do something else.

Excellent question. Glyphosate can damage ProVista if it's dormant and this lawn is still coming out of dormancy so I elected to use the IMage for Southern Lawns which won't matter either way. I use Glyphosate all during the rest of the year when the turf is fully active.

Current grass is dormant (metro Atlanta). Is it OK to target all very sporadic green spots of growth?
