Don't forget to download the file and practice - goodly.co.in/how-to-merge-data-from-multiple-pdfs-inconsistent-columns/ Master 'M' in Power Query - goodly.co.in/learn-m-powerquery/
Very complex. I've been looking for something like this for ages, but after seeing your video no wonder I couldn't get close to a solution. It's very involved.
As always, thank you Chandeep! The user renaming columns in Excel and then using some PQ dust to dynamically merge columns with similar values is powerfully. Great stuff!
This is great!!! Please do more with PDFs. I beg my Colleagues for csv or excel files. I get no, or at best pdf crystal reports with nested tables and headers. Insight on how to transform PDFs is a game changer!!
How can I add a column that gives the pdf file name for each line on the table. This is so I can reconcile the data back to the inoives and be sure I'm not missing any files?
do you have a video that extracts important data from the page? I need an invoice # from one table , the PO # from another, and the data from another, with multiple page PDF's I would like to just get data from Folder and combine this into one table. Is this possible?
It is getting lame if I write always the same comments 😂. So here is an issue that I encounter with pdf. Sometimes even though it is a system print out in pdf format the columns are not split in the same way meaning col 17 e. G contains in 9 out of 10 the bank code but in one table it is in Col18. Any idea why this happens?
Cool, just not forget to tell that numeration in PQ starts with 0. Otherwise, people who are new in PQ will not understand why you use 1 instead 2. But it's a nasty comment, sorry)))

This is the issue I'm currently encountering and this course is definitely a life-save!!!!!

I was not aware of the meta function. Thank you!!!
Thank you very much for solving this advanced use case! I love writing M code functions as you have shown. Love to see more!
Finally I understood this MetaData concept................................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is great. Thank you. I ran into this problem all the time
This is an awesome advanced use case scenario. Love, love, love it.
Thank you!! I really loved the "Meta" step, I was always searching for this, and now here it is! Every video of yours, i get to learn 😊
Hi Chandeep, you meta step is phenomenal. This will help me to refer any step from any other query which is just amazing
Thanks for sharing

Next level.Making impossible to possible..
That's high class Power Query!
Wow, this is great....that meta step is phenomenal
So awesome, thanks Chandeep
Excellent... thanks for sharing 🎉
What can I say a brilliant video, that I can use in my day to day work and improve my queries. ❤.
Hi Chandeep

Same question for me please. Loving your work 😁
It is indeed Awesome! Thanks
That was a nice advanced exercise. Good(ly) stuff, right there! ;-)
Mind = Blown
Awesome 😎
Wow.... Neat!!
Thanks

it's possible but I don't that specific case as a video:(
What if my PDF contains different number of pages? Does such solution work dynamically if I have more pages than in the "example file"?
Look at the logic in the video: yes.
So I have a pdf from print function and it did not give me table data put there is clearly a table on it. So I guess this process won't work for that?
it probably should!
why not duplicate the query and remove the last Cols step, does that affect the speed and efficiency?
Duplicating the query means - redoing all the step all over again!
Which means inefficiency
@@GoodlyChandeep okay, thanks for the explanation and I am really grateful to your videos😊
THANKSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS 😍😍
and if rows are different? too

I’m sure that the more advanced users that watch this video know that aspect very well.
