I really relate to what you said about the loneliness aspect. For me, I try to find the beauty in it. If you’re lonely, maybe you’re doing something nobody else is willing to to, being your true self, and not letting others dictate your world. Of course, there are limits to this logic, but thinking this way helps me a lot.
beautifully said- i too romanticize the loneliness that inevitably comes with the pursuit of my goals. there is def. a limit, a fine balance is needed. make sure you take proper rests: spend time with friends, family, and loved ones :)

This video was actually inspirational and it really helped me since I was feeling really lonely especially since most of these type of videos just show a perfect student life which is not the case and if you study you’ll understand it is not the case all the time and this was the first vid I saw that actually discussed the other side of a students life. you are a legend stay strong. ❤💪

Hi Jae, thank you for this video. Your voice and the things you said, for some reason, really calmed me down. I think nowadays it is quite easy to get rapped up in our own head with our thoughts. Overthinking really does contribute to feelings of anxiety and loneliness. But doing your part everyday and trying to have a positive mindset is the best solution to it. Jae try not to avoid your emotions a lot and push them away for later on an every day basis. Take one day entirely for yourself to work on those negative emotions specifically. You'll do much better that way hopefully ✨ Keep up the good work

Hey Jae,
I experience the same thing as well when I am studying, lifting, doing personal responsibilities all alone. I think we are meant to be tribal and belong somewhere and have a greater purpose. With the modern world, it is harder to do and feel that. I don't think that its smart for longetivity and to continue the grind to put those feelings in a bow and tie them up. Its ok to not be ok. You should feel those things because they start to question who you are, what do you really want to do with your life and what impact do you want to have? And is this process going to accomplish that? As you can see I juggle with these thoughts often but what keeps me going is that I listen and validate and move forward like you do. The greatest challenge is holding both to be true where you must accomplish your goals and listen to sense of loneliness that can be converted into solitdue. I think its great that you are pushing outside of your comfort zone to study with others and build connections, but most of all, learn to validate yourself because in the end you are the only one responsible for yourself, and the only who can save yourself. Loved that you put your vulnerability out there. Keep Going!

You should try my study strategy: the diamond method. In involves procrastinating for a long time so that mass amounts of pressure build up and turns you into a productive diamond for a few days. Do not recommend if you wanna remember any of it after the semester tho
