Looks like the area you were flying in this video is a downtown Toronto where is a restricted area for drone, isn’t it? I can’t fly in centre island at all last weeks.😢
I have the Air 2S and Evo II 6K Pro. For a beginner FPV pilot, I think the Avata 2 is the way to go. If you want to get into building, repairing and modifying then go with a traditional FPV. I got the Avata 2 and I am having a great time with it. Minor crashes and no damage. Easy to learn how to fly. Will try flying in the Manual mode in a week or two.
Thank you. Isn’t the footage from the goggles SD card of better quality for production purposes rather than footage from the internal memory & drones sd card?
Gyroflow is pretty rad! I like it more than Rocksteady due to more control. And if you do any real estate or professional work with the Avata 2 you'll probably wanna use gyroflow horizon lock
@DimmyV I figured it out about 10 minutes after I asked. LOL. Oh the life of this noob! Thanks for the reply though, some creators just ignore their comments
What software are you using for the video editing? I want to try doing some myself but the one I have is ancient and doesn't even recognize the files...

Hi . No while flying we get the flight information across the bottom… height, distance, satellites, connections etc etc. how can we get all that out in order to get a clean edited copy?
@@Lennyinfla I don’t think you can turn off the OSD. I wouldn’t advise as it’s essential to know what’s happening. The drone will record the video to either internal memory or sd card for a clean copy that won’t have the OSD information.
problem is it splits the file in multiple videos and not only one, it is a mess when organizing footage, specially if you tabilize it trough gyroflow first
@@DimmyV I Think your 4:3 video for reels will make me decide to buy AVATA 2, that only reason I am not buying it because most of my videos are portrait modes

Excellent explanation of the Avata 2 camera settings, Demetrios. Thank you.
You are welcome!

Other way round. Recording in drone is better than goggles. Goggles is fine but for backup.
@@DimmyV thank you!!! Then the drones sd card is the way to go for editing and that won’t have all that info on it.., correct?
I am currious about the gyroflow ! Good video though !

Do we really need it with the Avada2?🤷♂️
@@Lennyinfla There is still a bit of diffrence. Its cool that we can change it. Because its an expensive drone. i would say yes we do need it.
Thank you JB 👍

Can i adjust the smootness of sticks in N mode? Or just in M..?
You can but its gain and expo, I recommend checking some RUclips videos how to adjust or maybe I should make one...
@@DimmyV hey bud, I wrote N mode is there a way to make smooter less responsice move cinematic. Not the M mode thx
@@rajder1 N mode would be the same. You would need to lower the rate and maybe have more expo to be less sensitive in the centre.
@@DimmyV i thought its just for M
How did you get a 4k/60 setting? Mine only goes to 4k/30
is your Firmware update to date? What settings are you using?

When editing.. how do you get all the flight information not to show in the video?
I assume you are talking about the Googles recording?

I wish we had the option to turn this split file on and off
Its sad that we cannot shoot with DJI avata in portrait mode..
it wouldn't be great flying like that, 4:3 is good, I'll be posting some Shorts soon, quality is amazing from O4
