I had to update mine on a PC through the Xbox Accessories app. It worked after that.

If your controller just infinitely blinks after connecting, try updating it with a Xbox series S or X. Mine worked after that

To everyone having issues connecting, make sure you update your controller using an xbox. A brand new out of the box controller won't work.
