Good evening Arnie and Lynn. All that crunching is such a happy sound. Now those naughty little boys thought they were grown up. I wonder if Little Nister thought maybe he should be a big Mister and got a baby mister on the way. 😂😂😂😂I saw my favorite Gladiator in the group of big guys. Still a Prince. I think it is so nice for the sheep to have a night light and feel comfy in their barn. Great job Arnie. I really like watching you guys doing your chores. Makes me feel like a part of the family. 🥰. Thanks for taking us along. Locke all the information. Have a relaxing evening with Lynn by the fire. Big big hugs to both of you. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰😉😉😉❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Dear Arni, I was very happy to see the sheep with your entourage, they look great and they are certainly happy to have some light on there at night, I also used to let at least one light shine on the calves for the night. Have a great day Sincerely, Krasava
Thank you Arnie ❤ Happy to help out where I can. I’ll take any opportunity to learn more. The new knowledge I’ve learned from you both in person and daily vlogs has helped me become a better shepherdess to our flock. Thank you guys for allowing me to be part of the Ewetopia crew🤪
I always enjoy Arnies commentary and his video skills but the tripod should help alot! Thank you for such an informative video, have a great Monday! ❤🐑
I agree with you guys about keeping a light on for the flock. Not only calming to the sheep but great when doing a quick late night check. Everyone looked to be enjoying their late evening feeding. Best wishes for the bean harvest! Thanks for sharing your evening with us! Stay safe!!🙏❤🇺🇸
Wow, 16 bags of wool! That should make a few sweaters😁 The sheep look amazing after their shearing. All in great shape. I’m wondering if Megan would be interested in learning how to shear? It sure would be helpful to have another person you guys could call on. 😊 Arnie, you and Lynn are always great with your info. Thanks! 💛
@@Mary-F I actually can shear, but like Arnie- it takes me a while to get through 1 animal. It’s truly back breaking work, and I’m not a kid either, lol Jacob does an amazing job and gets through a flock quickly, but he’s a busy guy.
@@meganleitch3400 Yes, Jacob is great at shearing. I was just hoping there was someone closer to help Lynn and Arnie when they require it. Maybe someday. 😁
Those big tall lengthy ewes are the best! I’ll convince Arnie other wise on just singles. Wait till he sees are ladies and they have twins and triplets. You can’t even tell or know how many in them with their size. Even when we scan has been wrong! Look forward to videos with “more” breeds temporarily 😜
@@CityandCountrySouthdowns yes, those high capacity ewes are great when they produce multiples but are quite disappointing when they have singles! 😆 Cidrs help them have more lambs, that's why yours have done so well!😉 We will see how your ladies do when they get here - NOTE to anyone else reading this, Andrew may be boarding his Southdowns here in the future 🙂
@janetlutter9925 we give them their final feedings at night, we lick them all back in the barn, and we make sure no one is upside down, stuck, or anything else before we turn out the lights. Sheep have to be watched even when not lambing 🙂
@@alisoncummins2726 hmmm?🤔 Trust you to throw a monkey wrench into things!🤣🤣 I think that a dim light shouldn't affect things and will keep them safe at night. But good point and something to think about for sure!!😄
Glad you got the sheep sheared.

@jessicacarstairs7520 The tripods do help, especially for filming at night, which is much more difficult 🙂

How long do the rams stay with their harems?
@@marycomeau9364 They will probably come out December 1st
I've been meaning to ask but keep forgetting... What's the plan for Peggy? Will you breed her or treat her as a retirement sheep?
@@craigpacker7171 Definitely not breeding her. She will stay with ewe lambs until such time that her disability gets the better if her.
I have to ask: how many sheep can Jacob shear in one visit?
@gregedmand9939 Around 140 and they are big sheep!
Why do your do night checks when their not lambing?

Did you put the curtains down even partway) for the night for the newly sheared? Arnie mention wearing coat and still being cold…
@@justinanovak8040 yes 🙂
Don’t nightlights for the ewes lengthen the days and reduce ovulation?
