That is why any apple device compared to a similar spec windows device will always be minimum 20% more expensive. They do make solid products and consistent design decisions which is what you pay the “apple tax” for.

It's fun to watch linus/luke build something life. that's also why scapyard wars is so popular imo. PLEASE understand this. You can make your own Pippin disks pretty easily. Instead of booting to the standard Finder, they boot to the Pippin version which is just a selection of applications that you have placed aliases of in the Startup Items folder. The hardware itself is technologically compromised. Despite using a PowerPC processor, it used a lot of 68k hardware for the rest of the device which basically ruined the speed advantage a 603 would have had.

Funnily enough, when it comes to specs it's not that far off. The Dreamcast launched in late 1998 (!) in Japan and the PS2 in 2000, and the Wii wasn't THAT much more powerful than those systems, roughly comparable to the OG Xbox, so not even a full console generation ahead.

Funnily enough, when it comes to specs it's not that far off. The Dreamcast launched in late 1998 (!) in Japan and the PS2 in 2000, and the Wii wasn't THAT much more powerful than those systems, roughly comparable to the OG Xbox, so not even a full console generation ahead.

360 Degrees Uhh have you seen warowl's video on standing while playing? If you try standing while playing (or sitting up in your chair, not slouching), it is very easy to control aim. Try it, you will be quite surprised. My cousin tried it and hasn't gone back since.
