simple explanation intake shines the most when air is already being forced through it & not at a dead stop that’s why the bigger difference is at a roll & not 0-60
Here in the EU a 2,5 L engine is big :) Put a turbo on it and that matters a lot :D Tho then you have to change the ECU to a custom one... Not worth it. I bought a factory 2,5T for this reason. Nice ride Marco!
To be honest with you should’ve never done that should’ve just bought a K&N dropping kit or just a drop in filter. There’s a opening for the stock filter or stock housing in the front of the shroud of the car that’s going to suck the most cool air as it can guarantee it you would’ve seen different gains with that set up with the set up that you put on. It’s just sucking in hot air.
How did you deal with the mised data from the pre-flo chamber there? The intake manifold has a box that manipulates the input air flow, how did you reconfigure the computer to allow you "pod" inflow filter ??
Great video even tho my car is a w210 1998 e320 I daily drive a 2016 Toyota Camry le you said the facts kept us entertain and was quick love it keep it up man!! Also do you if it has better fuel consumption like better mileage or worst?
lol if you want to make it better you can disconnect your battery terminal and reconnect it and it will reset the average mpg so you can start over. It's kind of funny watching the gauge change really quickly when you first start driving after resetting it
@speedokoterefinishnetwork4937 yes I have a 2017 I have looked a few different ones. I used to have a 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse back in the day. I put a really nice four to two to one header on it with a full Cat-Back exhaust with high flow cat too and it made a huge difference yes I spent like 600 bucks on everything but it really helped
Another awesome video not only are you a great body man you're a mechanic too. You shine buddy 👍
Meehh. I try lol thanks !

Yup it didn't do much on this car at all to be honest lol

I buy what ever Is good on gas and cheap to fix lol
Nice! I got the same one.i cant wait to install after work.
Not much of a power difference.
I estimate 2-4 hp max but it sounded cool
The sound is awesome especially in sports mode.
Should have tested it with a clean filter...😂 just messing. Good stuff!!
That's out of the box about as clean as they get 😂 but yea that factory filter was dirty . Probably was Robbing me of that 1-2 HP
Yeah, the stock filter was pretty nasty. That will rob you with horsepower and fuel mileage especially on the 2.5 L.
The new filter adding more power😆
I guess lol 😂

@@bobg3221 Wait what is a dropping kit??
looks all results but no weplaination of how it works, the computer would shurely be confused, how did you reprogram the airflow paramaters ??

@AnakinKB in my 2013 you just reset it on the mpg gauge. Did they take that out?
Didn’t know you could do that but I’m sure it’s the same for my 2014
What about a header?
Idk if they make one for it
