That was pretty good. The AI narration was smoother than most with just a few, negligible hiccups, and the story itself was pretty cool. I'm guessing that the political marriage to cement the alliance was something that Nera's culture insisted on, since political marriage is not something Earth would suggest. And it was pretty cool how her father sent her out with Jack on that first mission. Being forced to fight side by side and depend on each other does form a bond of trust that might not be possible otherwise. And it was nice to see that bond turn into something deeper, a love forged in fire, something worth fighting for.
This was an excellent story, but I felt like it could have gone a lot further. I got so wrapped up in it then it just ended. I look forward to more stories like this.
