He stepped back into the shelter? What happened to locking the door and her not opening it until she knew it was him? Naked? now she has tattered clothes, oh and this morning she has boots? Hmmm. I suppose by the end of the day she will have a Gi Vincci hand bag.

Two things wrong with this story. First, it's read by an AI with all the usual mispronounciations - very sad. Second, this story is PG13. I thought - as the title implied - it should have been at least R rated. Didn't have to be XXX, but the story was so boring it needed something. Being very generous, I would give this story a 2.5 out of 10. Definitely a "Thumbs Down."

This story jumps around and doesn't flow properly, and the picture shows 3 women with the story only having one with the captain.

So so. Neat idea about the three of them forming a bond and working together, but, generally not a great story. Considering the fact that this is all taking place in a school supposedly dedicated to teaching different cultures and species how to work together, both Lyros' and Silax's bullshit should have gotten them expelled long before Sam ever showed up. In a place where cooperation is the number one goal, self centered groups that outright seek to sow discord and distrust between species wouldn't be tolerated.

This was an excellent story, but I felt like it could have gone a lot further. I got so wrapped up in it then it just ended. I look forward to more stories like this.

That was pretty good. The AI narration was smoother than most with just a few, negligible hiccups, and the story itself was pretty cool. I'm guessing that the political marriage to cement the alliance was something that Nera's culture insisted on, since political marriage is not something Earth would suggest. And it was pretty cool how her father sent her out with Jack on that first mission. Being forced to fight side by side and depend on each other does form a bond of trust that might not be possible otherwise. And it was nice to see that bond turn into something deeper, a love forged in fire, something worth fighting for.
