An outstanding collection of locos on display Chris, on what I think is one of the best Miniature Railways I've seen....I also noticed Andrew from Pembrey with his Black 5.....another great production Chris....Bob
I know we say this every year but it does get better and better! It is funny but one year we get a lot of LNER loco's another a lot of Midland ,but this year a nice turn out of Southern, what next year! I had a chat to Andrew about us coming down to Pembrey again, then we had a very fast lap around behind him, that B5 is a lovely beast, she really enjoyed this track.......Regards Chris
Great footage Chris (apart from one bit I will get you for sometime lol) and glad you & Rosie enjoyed your day at the EWR & thanks for covering the bits I didn't, nice to see you both again. Cheers, Brian.
LOL! Got you! I was nice to see you both again and spend some time filming together.I 'm looking forward to seeing some Devon footage........Regards Chris.
Just how many loco's can this track handle at a time, amazing! This year there seemed to be a Southern theme another time it will be a GWR or LNER.These guys travel many miles to attend this meeting, well done to all of them.Just makes me more envious,I must get another!.......Thanks for commenting Steve.........Best wishes Chris.
Oh yes , as we talked about before...Be good if you found one before Pembrey (Llanelli & District Model Engineers) weekend in September...I am going late Saturday afternoon and staying with Bob so can do the complete Sunday.. Hope to see you there ..
I think the Saturday is always the best day to go,most guys seem to prefer the one day, also as some stay on campsites for the Friday/Saturday they have to be off the site by 12.00 Sunday .......Thank you for watching my video......Regards Chris.
It is the best meeting of Mainline loco's in the country, get that diesel down to Echills Wood Railway if it is a Mainline loco.......See you next year.....Regards Chris
Coal, water a fire you have steam, these loco's are just small copies of the real thing.Visit your local Model engineering Society,i'm sure the guys will show you how they work and run.If your very lucky they might let you drive one.........Regards Chris.
Hi,So pleased you like my videos,we have been in your area just a few weeks back we did the L&BR,Launceston,Plym line and Model Engineers Society at Plymouth plus a few others. Were hoping to come again later in the year to the Taunton/Bristol area, this we hope will clear a few of these railways of my long list...........Regards Chris
More guys are liking diesel electric loco's these days as that is what they have grown up with,us old timers appreciate both forms of motive power. As we own and run both, the steamer has to be the more interesting to drive.....Thanks for commenting.....Best wishes Chris.
Brilliant video! Great selection of locos there!
Many thanks! This is the event you want to come to Henry.Brilliant day out.
