The advantage of the bushman over the shredder is that it is an assault rifle so you can pick up ammo from a lot of dead enemies. With shredder you can pretty quickly run out of ammo on longer missions...
But buzzaw has like larger mag capacity with single belt it can last may missions coz it takes 2 bullets to kill a dude and abt 10 to kill a juggernaut and the belt has like 400 ammo , plus if u maxed out u r ammo bag then it can last longer , buzzaw is also helpful for destroying enemy re enforcement helis by spraying at them
the elephant gun is not a shotgun, its a very high caliber rifle. they did made this back when hunting big game was still a thing. it also good for dislocating shoulders. popular with the british, its known as a 4-bore or stopping rifle. the projectile weighed about 1/4 pound. later ones were made/converted to cartridge ammo and smokeless powder. its technically a 1 inch diameter slug of pure "fuck you" made to stop big angry things moving towards you.
no, it wasn't 'a' black powder gun. 4 bore, 8 bore and 2 bore are categories. you can still have them made today. in fact, i am pretty sure watson or greener (or any other super posh rifle shop) would make one for you if you have the money.
szeredai akos yes but when 4 bores were seriously used for elephant hunting they were black powder now they are just biggest dick contests but after smokeless powder was invented much smaller bore guns like .700s became practical for big game hunting
The HS77 is a reference to stars wars. HS=Han Solo. 77=The year the first star wars came out. The last line about shooting first is a reference to the scene where han shoots greedo in the cantina in mos eisly. Han's pistol looks very similar to the HS77 as well.
You don't need to reach North Kyrat to get snow leopard skins, you can get them in the Himalayas on Longinus quests. Just throw bait and they'll come running. Also, when referring to a revolvers capacity, you'd say it holds six in the cylinder, not the chamber. A six shooter has six chambers in one cylinder.
Dude, seriously? You think the Elephant Gun is a shotgun too? Everyone seems to think so. It's a double-rifle that fires $125 bullets that weigh 66 grams each! The .700 Nitro Express round can stop a large truck with one good shot to the engine. A shotgun struggles with even body armor.
i know it's not a signature, but still, who else thinks that the SA-50 is the best gun in fc4? I love it. Whenever I'm trying to conquer an outpost, I just get to a high spot on a mountain and start shooting down on them with the whole outpost in view and it's great fun.
When someone actually tries to not make mistakes with names and specs and also researches things and names that's how you know he deserves your subscribe
Just to give you a hand with terms: The chamber is the part of the gun where a round is placed when the weapon is in battery (ready to fire). It's in front of the bolt / striker / hammer and the front face leads into the barrel. A revolver has a cylinder. The cylinder has chambers (usually six). The revolvers in this game use a thing called a speedloader; though it's sort of like a clip, usually when you talk about clips in revolvers you're talking about a thing called a moon clip which stays on the rounds and rests against the back of the cylinder. The thing on the GL-A87 is what you'd call a drum or drum magazine. Also the Trooper kind of sucks, it's got the same stats as the normal MS16 for some inconceivable reason. The Shredder isn't *that* fantastic compared to the BZ19, either, and you get the Bizon for nothing in the Willis missions.
CruelestChris Thank you! That's where the misunderstanding came from. Cylinder contains chambers. I knew about chambers on pistols and rifles, but failed to make the connection in my head. And the clip/revolver thing. Damn it! I thought a clip was used to quick-load the revolvers. Sorry about that. So a moon clip and quick-reloader are incompatible, I'm thinking? I looked up moon clip and it seems like the position would prevent loading the ammo into a quick-loader. But it does explain the ridges on the casings. Or are they used for some other reason too? I realised after I uploaded the video that I should have done stat comparisons of the original weapon/signature plus the signature vs other signatures of the same type. I think that would have been more useful. But, the internet here is crappy, and it took almost a whole day to upload this. So I didn't. I might do an addendum at some point, though. I don't think I ever used the BZ19. I'll have to go back and play with it. Very curious now, because that might be a nice balance for me. I eventually found the shredder way too good. And thank you again for this comment! Full of useful info.
Yeah, you can't use a speedloader and a moon clip at the same time because they engage with the same part of the round. The notch in front of the rim is called the extractor groove, it's most commonly used by the mechanism of a self-loading weapon to grip the round when it's being pulled out of the chamber, but it's a general all-purpose point of grip on the round, stripper clips usually slide in along it and it's used to lock in moon clips and suchlike. If you want to see all the weapon stats in one place (except the unreleased ones, don't have those yet) there's always www.imfdb.org/wiki/Far_Cry_4 which is not blatant self-promotion for an article I wrote or anything >.> Loading up the images side by side lets you see some of the weirder things like how much they nerfed the MS16 and that the STG90 now has higher accuracy than every assault rifle except the Bushman.
CruelestChris (That said, a cartridge doesn't actually need an extractor groove to fit a moon clip, it needs either a rim or an extractor groove, but now I'm being pedantic with myself)
CruelestChris Gun porn! Love it. I'll link it in an annotation on the video, if that's ok? Did you link it on Reddit? I'm sure other people would love to read it. That makes sense (obviously) about the extractor groove. I always thought the magazine spring pushed the empty casing out while loading another round. Anyway, I'm off to read that article properly. Thank you again!
I know this video is 2 years old and you might not see this but thank you thank you for this video, best weapon guide for far cry 4 on youtube! Maybe if you put more of the regular weapons it could be better but this helped me a lot choosing weapons
You deserve more views and attention than what you're currently getting. You put more effort into your videos and giving feedback than most RUclipsrs. You have definitely earned my subscription and my like.
My favourite combination of weapons is this:The Bushman(if you don't have it or can't be bothered unlocking it you can use the normal version,or the Warrior),i mostly use it when i am in a fight with enemies. The Recurve Bow,i use it for hunting and Stealth(i almost never use the other arrow types). The SA50(or the semi-auto Sniper),i use it for taking out ouposts a cheap way,or to take out enemies that are far away. And the Sidearm Grenade Launcher.I use it because i don't wanna take up a slot for and RPG/Grenade Launcher(GL???) I use it like a normal RPG/GL and also to take out enemies while in a vehicle
Damn that was an excellent video man!! And it has re-sparked my interest in this game. Gotta say when this game first dropped didn't quite live up to the hype but is still a pretty good game worth giving at least 1 shot...
I can't believe a lot of people missed the Star Wars reference in the HS77 description. The HS77 resembles Han Solo's DL-44 blaster pistol, and the description says "to ensure you always shoot first".
I could totally listen to you read as I doze off. Really, you should narrate a nature show or something - I'd listen to every video you uploaded when I study or am going to sleep or just need to relax for awhile.
The trooper really is an amazing weapon. Maybe in certain situations you may find yourself wanting a full automatic, but with how quickly you can aim it and how steady it is with almost no recoil...man.
Dain King under the Mountain. A Large machine gun is actually referred to an HMG. Which are typucally 50 cals. Lmg's like the M249 can be considered both an LMG and an MMG
1:30 cylinder, 20:38 most pump/leaver action shotguns use a tube to store shelles. Btw if you don't know what something shoots "rounds" is a general term for any ammo.
16:35 also, carbine usually denotes barrel length, not fire mode, for example, an m16 is considered a rifle, while an m4 is considered a carbine, or in far cry's case, the P416 is also a carbine.
20:44 one more thing, the thing that holds shells in a shotgun is also a magazine, but a tubular, internal one, instead of an external box magazine, which is what AKs, M4s, etc. use. Oh and the "chamber" is where the bullet is when it goes off, it is connected to the barrel, logically.
«Some magazine types are strongly associated with certain firearm types, such as the fixed "tubular" magazine found on most lever-action rifles and pump-action shotguns.» Look it up.
Snow leopards are actually available during the South. They are tricky to find on foot, But if you stick to the higher ground and use bait, sometimes they will show up. You could also throw bait during one of the Himalayan missions available in the south, you can again throw bait and they will show.
I personally dislike signature weapons, they make everything so easy. What about using the old school iron sights. Since CoD MW2 came out, every weapon in every game has attachments and sights.
People don't give a shit if games are too easy. I admit that signature weapons make the game easy, but it's fun using them and that's the only thing that matters.
Actually anyone can play both ways since this game was designed for stealth takedowns or going Rambo on the enemy posts. I just prefer the silent and difficult way.
Buzzsaw, A 50 sniper rifle, Hand Grenade Launcher and whatever else you want is the perfect loadout. I hse the recurve bow because of flaming/explosive arrows and its mobility
The Bull, like many shotguns, has a tube magazine under the barrel. Because the magazine can't be removed from the gun, you have to reload it one round at a time.
easiest way to get the shredder early on. buy a locations map for the south and middle part of the map, get in a buzzard and fly around activating the mani bells. they give you hella karma and you dont have to fight anyone. if you activate all the mani bells in the bottom and middle of the map you should get to lvl 6
The AMR stands for Anti-Material Rifle. That thing is used to take down armored vehicles and is banned from being used on human targets. So that is why it does so much damage in the game lol
Its not banned to use on people, thats just a wives tale. It is however a bit of a waste to use on people and so is only ever really used on equipment and vehicles
Acquire free Z93 earlier by clearing the bell tower closest to King's Bridge. You'd find 3-4? Royal Guard units there, and one would always be a Royal Guard sniper. Take it from the sniper's corpse. Get crossbow for free from one of the Shanath side quests. I think it was a hunting quest? Or was it eradication? You follow the marker for gearing up and its just there. Snow Leopard skins can be acquired earlier by going to Shanath Breeders and throwing bait. The predators come out at random... wolves, dholes, bears, clouded leopards... it only took me 10-20 minutes of random snow leopards spawning to get the amount of skins required for crafting... Easier to use bows and throwing knives while you camp on the rooftop. You also get a lot of money from the skins, and you could quickly resupply arrows and knives due to the trading post. Or... you could get snow leopards by doing the special missions around Varshakot or doing Hurk's quest where a bunch spawn in the caves. Liberating outposts stealthily gives exp with less hassle. I also mess around Southern Kyrat more by resetting the outposts and fortresses for the fun of it, since this also reintroduces royal cargo, pagan's wrath, and more karma events(like kill the lieutenant, kill the courier) in the region.
True.. but some signatures actually have increased power and stats. You could build your own with add-ons but it won't work AS well as you think. Some guns cannot have more than 2 add ons at once. Some also add explosive rounds or the ability to shoot through walls.. so no.. i wouldn't waste the money.
A red-dot site uses the same principle and is otherwise referred to as a reflex site. This is a site whereby the primary mechanism that projects the dot is a couple of mirrors, and a laser or light that projects a dot. The mirror reflects the light on a 45 degree angle up onto the site glass, and thus you see the image of a dot. Because of the science of diffraction, the dot will almost always appear static on the glass. They've been in use since World War 2.
+Elite Dude I woke up this morning and immediately thought "Rabi Ray Rana, it's Rabi Ray Rana". No idea what that says about me, but that's the radio dude's name ; )
Some advice when trying to one shot a technical (the Jeep with the MG on the back), aim for the engine block. To put it basically for you to understand easier, aim for the middle of the grill on it. I learned this from Far Cry 3 with the Z-93 (minus the one shot factor, but it did stop the car) and even the D50 (after a few mags.)
SporksAreGoodForYou A "clip" is just that: a metal clip that holds the bullets together. Usually used in the M1 Garand rifle. The metal or plastic "boxes" that contain bullets inside of it is called a magazine. A revolver has a cylinder that spins around when firing so that the hammer can strike each bullet. So, that is the difference. Clip, magazine/drum/belt, cylinder...hope this helps.
Some terminology to look out for: -1:25 & 6:06 = Cylinder, not chamber -1:57 & 3:36 = Speedloader, not magazine/clip (only for revolvers) -28:08 & 33:09 = Belt, not magazine (for belt-fed LMGs)
top : sidearm grenade launcher (that's a must !) right : shredder or bushman (but preferably shredder for better trrrrrtttt !!!) bottom : bull silenced shotgun or recurved bow (for kaboom!) left : predator sniper (you must have a sniper in this game)
Seamus Aindriu O'Coran He's from the UK, which means he doesn't get force fed gun terminology from kindergarten age. Give the guy a break, some people don't give that much of a fuck about guns.
otto eduard Leopold von Bismarck Duke of launberg I agree. But if I were to use loose terminology about Rocket Science or Brain Surgery, I wouldn't feel like an idiot because I'm not an expert. This guy clearly isn't a gun expert, he shouldn't be made to feel like an idiot by childish gun nuts because he doesn't share their unhealthy fetish.
Actually the 87 is really good while driving The cargo trucks you can catch up to the driver’s seat and shoot once and you kill them Also a helicopter that is flying down to drop troops is an easy picking
I'm very glad to hear you did your research on the "firearms lingo". and the "chamber" on the revolver is just called the "cylinder". last thing, its a "Suppressor" because it suppresses the expanding gas behind the bullet once its traveling down the barrel...."Silencers" are only in Hollywood. but you did pretty well for not being a gun guy; do your research on some firearms and it could change the way you look at/use all the weapons in game. (or go shoot real guns for an afternoon and you'll learn more than you ever expected"
used to be a long grind for me to raise karma to level 6 for the shredder until i realized the quickest way was by flying around with the buzzer and just spinning mani wheels
Anyone else still playing and loving this game?

***** Well, for most people at least. Anyway you know what I'm talking about if you're a casual.
My loadout: automatic crossbow, buzz saw, AMR, shredder
Same
Except for the crossbow i have the grenade launcher
I have sa 50, buzzsaw, M 79 and flamethrower 🔥
Mine is:
AMR
BUZZSAW
1887
BULL
THE BEST LOADOUT EVER FOR ME :p
CaliBlazed my loadout is a sneak one it's a sandman, shredder, bushman and a predator
The Bull, like many shotguns, has a tube magazine under the barrel. Because the magazine can't be removed from the gun, you have to reload it one round at a time.
isn't the upside down V called a chevron?
MemeDealer
Uhhh...... Yeah, it is.
God damn mr. Gun nut!
Wtf is your profile pic
@@BowlingballBagBob exactly what it looks like
easiest way to get the shredder early on. buy a locations map for the south and middle part of the map, get in a buzzard and fly around activating the mani bells. they give you hella karma and you dont have to fight anyone. if you activate all the mani bells in the bottom and middle of the map you should get to lvl 6
the buzzsaw is the ppsh on steroids
Luke does freestyle no
Luke does freestyle it's a mg42
Its actually an MG3, the modern version of the MG42
Luke does freestyle no its the mg42 on steroids
the buzzsaw is a machine gun thats taken Viagra
Congrats on hitting 1 million views on this!
The AMR stands for Anti-Material Rifle. That thing is used to take down armored vehicles and is banned from being used on human targets. So that is why it does so much damage in the game lol
You can use anti material rifles on humans lol
Anyone still playing this game in 2019 😂😂
2020 here
This game is never gonna get old.
l Barky l hey guys! I still lol
From 2017-2020
I was thinking about getting it for ps3 for me and my lil bro is coop any good tho
bro I enjoyed your descriptions you are entertaining and you just earned yourself a sub and like
Some signatures you can make yourself
Thats true I don't bother buying them , but don't the Signatures have more Damage than the regular versions ?
True.. but some signatures actually have increased power and stats. You could build your own with add-ons but it won't work AS well as you think. Some guns cannot have more than 2 add ons at once. Some also add explosive rounds or the ability to shoot through walls.. so no.. i wouldn't waste the money.
yeah but the best choice for the beginner would be a skorpion and a silencer on it
A red-dot site uses the same principle and is otherwise referred to as a reflex site.
The round thing that holds the bullets is called a cylinder.
No
Andrew Cabrera yes
The Ripper is my favourite weapon it’s so good and on my opinion is the best gun in the game
Who or Wat was talking in the background?
+Elite Dude I think it's the radio dude. Sorry about that.
+SporksAreGoodForYou ahh it's ok man. No worry's.
+Elite Dude I woke up this morning and immediately thought "Rabi Ray Rana, it's Rabi Ray Rana". No idea what that says about me, but that's the radio dude's name ; )
+SporksAreGoodForYou lol.
+Matthew Alfonso nice
im playing thru this game again. thx for the video!! i learned a few things
I already have 1 of those weapons I already have the SIXER
why you waste you're money to SIXER?
Sixer ia so bad..... I have buzzsaw
Elite Dude ew.
Lol ik
But that's so bad noob
Wow nice intro, nice description you explained everything. You get a like
Buzzsaw. AMR. Cannon. Shredder.
This is my common Loadout.
Everything dies immediatly.
Immediately*
I'm pretty sure the HS-77 is a reference to Han Solo's blaster
Why would you need the weapons when you can just eat your damn crab rangoons??
Some advice when trying to one shot a technical (the Jeep with the MG on the back), aim for the engine block. To put it basically for you to understand easier, aim for the middle of the grill on it. I learned this from Far Cry 3 with the Z-93 (minus the one shot factor, but it did stop the car) and even the D50 (after a few mags.)
Loadout: m79,sa-50,700 nitro,LK1018
İz Tosuner Strong loadout. Very versatile.
"As long as you don't get attacked by an eagle!" Haha had me rolling dude
17:11 i like that laugh haaa!
Are bell towers the equivalent of Radio towers? I kind of go for those first so i'm not caught off guard.
Sasuke Uchiha yes but keep in mind you can't finish all without going through about half the campaign
found that out the hard way
Your voice is perfect for this!
anyone watching it in 2020?
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR REVIEWING THESE GUNS BC IM A NEW PLAYER AND THE RIPPER HELPED ALOT THANK YOU!
Man, for some reason after watching this video, I felt the most uncanny desire to meticulously clean my asshole out for 12 to 36 hours. Top to bottom.
***** Random question, do you use a bidet?
***** Your loss.
***** No, thank you.
***** Alrighty then.
+BiscuitHead Thats what happens when you listen to Rabi Ray Rana talk about food, assholes, and some shit about 12-36 hours.
Buzzsaw + AMR the greatest cocktail
I got pagans fortress with buzz saw
Bushman = stealth, loud, good sight long range to medium = awesomeness
This is the most interesting funny video I've never watched :/
+Sevenshot619 I'm not sure how I'm supposed to take that.
Sorry just trying to say it bores me. Ps I wasn't expecting you to see the comment
Some terminology to look out for:
-1:25 & 6:06 = Cylinder, not chamber
-1:57 & 3:36 = Speedloader, not magazine/clip (only for revolvers)
-28:08 & 33:09 = Belt, not magazine (for belt-fed LMGs)
The elephant gun is not a shotgun.
No dip
My favorite loadout is a 1911 handgun, a supressed MS16 with an optic sight, the buzzer signature, and the grenade launcher sidearm
it is Cylinder. Not chamber
(when you were talking about the sixer and cannon)
Thank you! Knowledge is power. I appreciate it.
+SporksAreGoodForYou no problem
+SporksAreGoodForYou oh, and the predator does 1 shot Juggernauts. You need to be very accurate and precise where you shoot them in the head
+SporksAreGoodForYou It also uses a six-round speedloader, not a clip. :)
Good job. Very detailed. Awesome video!!!
Thank you so much!
North island? :/
I thought this was far cry 4... what?
Fin Fraser I interpreted it as the north part but that still doesn’t work as kyrat is a country bordering India in the FarCry Universe
This was a really great video and I already beat the game keep up the good work
Your saying North Island, not far cry 3 bro, your in the middle of nepal.
0Z00RG I know. I'm sorry. I totally got into FC3 headspace.
top : sidearm grenade launcher (that's a must !)
right : shredder or bushman (but preferably shredder for better trrrrrtttt !!!)
bottom : bull silenced shotgun or recurved bow (for kaboom!)
left : predator sniper (you must have a sniper in this game)
Bro we got the exact same loadout lmfao damn near the same slots too 😂😂😂
My recurve bow is bottom and sniper is onna left
His lack of firearm knowledge is cringeworthy lol. I did enjoy the video though, so not bad.
Seamus Aindriu O'Coran but he is making and effort to learn and he deosnt think he's amazingly knowledgeable so thats good
Seamus Aindriu O'Coran yeah well he is British
Seamus Aindriu O'Coran He's from the UK, which means he doesn't get force fed gun terminology from kindergarten age.
Give the guy a break, some people don't give that much of a fuck about guns.
TH3 M0NK but most people don't like sounding like idiots and that's what I think he most wants to avoid
otto eduard Leopold von Bismarck Duke of launberg I agree.
Really good video would love more content like this keep it up
If you sneak up behind a two man patrol, you can pin one guard to the other with the harpoon gun. Took me about 10 tries to get it, but so satisfying.
You have the best voice for reveiws
Thank you so much!
Actually the 87 is really good while driving
The cargo trucks you can catch up to the driver’s seat and shoot once and you kill them
Also a helicopter that is flying down to drop troops is an easy picking
I've found the cannon really good at killing enemies hip firing from a vehicle
This video sounds like a asmr with the whispering. I like it 😀
Shooting while driving with the 87 is a god send it can take a vehicle's driver and passenger down very quickly
