Hey man. I applied to be a CCA a few weeks ago and started watching your videos. I just accepted the offer today! There's a lot of negativity about being a CCA on youtube. I appreciate you being positive and keeping it real. I feel like i've learned so much and I haven't even started yet. Thank you for all you do here on youtube. It is appreciated! Keep grinding!
Apparently not anymore. We had a sup at our station that did that and that person just got a slap on the wrist and was able to return to sup duty within the next week.
I was a letter carrier from 1981-1996, I have seen everything you're talking about, these are all facts, for instance we had a woman with a route, became a 204b and occasionally did the route or parts of it, I can talk all day about things, ever see the DEER HUNTER when the green beret walks in and was asked about Vietnam? well I say the same thing he said, 'fu** it'!!!...other than that, my letter carrier is great, the Post office is also great, try getting a check from Ohio to Cal. remember the P.O does it for chump change in all conditions, you can't beat that, I've been there and am now subscribed, just found you.
Most important thing I was told is unless it is a safety issue do what management tells you then grieve just so your ass is covered. One time I was borrowed to another office and afterwards was forced to another office in country area to carry a rural route, I carried that route and instantly grieved on that postmaster instantly. My personal and professional opinion only a small percentage of management either 204b to postmaster and above actually gives any care to the crafts while the majority couldn't hack it and decided to go into the dark side to make the other crafts lives miserable. It is crucial and paramount to every craft whether temp or career to read their respected unions rights so management doesn't shaft you into doing anything that isn't violating your crafts contract.
Nick are you local Branch 825 or 11? I’m 825 here and I’ve been a shop steward for a few years now. I’ve seen quite a bit in my time representing my office, and if you want recommendations for parts of the handbooks to cover I got you. Peace and solidarity brother

Same here.
Good stuff Nick, management doing dirt constantly, time clock manipulation is one thing that will get them removed if caught
Yeah nice try, that won't even get them fired! Past practice has proven such.
@patrickkerner1471 most likely reassigned. Meanwhile it's craft worker's @$$ lol

Thank you for the support
One of our 204b grabbed someone's hit case for them and they got written up
I've seen a station manager bring a hot case to an aux route nobody was assigned too
I wish our union stewards would do there job
Salute Nick 🫡! Stay blessed bro
