The Presidential election is less than a month away. Are YOU prepared? Historically, the availability of guns, ammo and related accessories gets scarce during election years and consequentially, the price of those things goes up. Luckily, we haven't really seen that trend so far this year, which is odd, considering that one side constantly talks about implementing unconstitutional gun control... Still, it is good to be prepared. Besides possible changes in the market, the outcome of this election has the possibility of inciting all kinds of dangerous chaos, no matter who ends up winning. In this video, I outline five things that you should make sure you have before the election. If you don't have these five things already, it might be time to get on it! I am actually getting back into reloading after a 15 year hiatus. Ironically, when I pulled the reloading stuff out of the attic, there was 5 boxes of fired 45 ACP brass in the factory box, they still had the price tag of $10.85 on the box, holy cow those prices are long gone.😢
But reloading is going to be how I start stockpiling ammo going forward.👍
I have a 100 round box of Winchester 45 auto that I got years back for about $20, refuse to shoot it haha. Miss those prices

I work at a local gun shop and everyone is selling guns and or pawning them.
I work at a gun store too and yep everyone is just selling their guns right now even if it is just at a 50% loss for them its insane.

I live in Florida and I can tell you nobody’s doing any kind of panic buying with guns and no one’s been buying anything this year at all with all the inflation and all the gun stores around me have been fully stocked with ammo
All the rifle ammo i see at stores goes for around 1 dollar a round... nobody with a brain is going to pay that... boxes of 50 9mm selling for 35-40 bucks... um NO!
The only way to get a half way decent price on ammo these days is by buying in bulk. 500-1000 rounds and spending enough at a store that ships free with sales over a certain amount of money is spent which is extremely rare these days... theres an abundance of ammunition on the market but for some reason nobody wants to drop prices to match the supply and demand models that are taught in economics classes...supply and demand is no longer real... u less the supply is low and demand is high...im glad I stockpiled in 2020 and 2021...
People can't panic buy if they're broke... bribenomics is has broken the middle class... we can't afford to panic buy right now
Yeah. It's harder than ever to make ends meet. I work seven days a week in order to be able to afford everything, so I get it.
Right now I’m taking advantage of the short approval times for suppressors and stacking deep on ammo and food.

You don't need to buy ammo it's not going anywhere. All the shelves are stocked like I've never seen before.

There's never enough ammo. You should buy as much as you can afford. I live in California and have to pay an additional 11 percent on top of regular taxes. Our lame governor is making it difficult for us law-abiding citizens.
@sawtoothtactical404 yes it is lol I buy some everytime I go, but not bulk just some boxes here and there. I also but primers because I remember when primers were like gold and were being sold for $1 a pop.

Times are tough, for sure. I work full time as a manager of a business and then have to do handyman jobs on the weekends and make whatever I can from this channel in order to get the things I want after paying the bills. A single full time job doesn't do it anymore.
ive been blessed by the Lord im making more money to keep up with inflation to a degree and my cost of living is low so ive been able to get what i need. I am in debt with the irs though to thats fun. but f em, i got a payment plan so i could put off paying them until next year so i could be ready for whats coming. if shtf before i can pay them ill be in the middle of nowhere at the compound so again f em
M&P 2.0 and either FPC or Response gives you ammo and magazine compatibility... Solid choice for urban/ suburban prepping... IMHO. Just makes sense in terms of practicality and budget considerations.
Also you can pair the Response with Glock 9 mm or SIG for extra cost.
That sounds like a smart plan to me.
Just built another one today with all the pieces I had stacked up. Only had to buy a buffer tube, everything else I had.

I think people have been panic buying so much sense 2008 and that all went into overdrive in 2020 that most at this point have plety of everything.
I think you're probably correct. Hopefully, most people learned from the last ammo shortage and are well prepared now.
I think having a alot of 22lr for survival is also essentiall you'll be surprised how much game you can actually take with it hard to hunt squirrels and rabbits with 556

What are you getting? Both range ammo and self defense ammo? Please tell me what defense ammo you get for both 9mm and 5.56? Just trying to figure out what I get as I always get 1000 of range ammo.
For 9mm, I like Federal 124 grain HST, but also Speer Gold Dot for my Prodigy, because they seem to feed better in that gun. As far as 5.56, I bought a bunch of expensive defensive ammo a while ago and loaded up a bunch of magazines, but I'm having a hard time remembering what it all was...
Here are some alternatives, for 9mm, the Hornady Critical Defense or Critical Duty. For 5.56, if you have a pistol or a SBR, Hornady 75 Grain InterLock HD SBR.

What is a baseline stock of 9mm and 556 that you always have or won’t dip below?
I feel like there’s no baseline, just buy as much as you can.
It always used to be 1,000 rounds, but I've shot 400 rounds each of the last two weekends, so I'm starting to realize how fast 1,000 rounds can go if you're training regularly, but I think that's a decent place to try not to drop below.

That's the best way to do it, but a lot of people can't drop a few hundred dollars at a time on ammo.
Psa lowers were on sale for 30 bucks. Lower receivers are made of the same stuff. Why spend 200 on a stripped lower when you can buy five 30 dollar lowers🤪

if anyone wnts a cheap but functional ar at psa level quality i defintely would never ever suggest dming me for my info to then hmu on some other platform about not ever bying it for very cheep. been trying to get rid of it. it has 300 rounds through it. through an ffl only. lets hope i dont catch a ban for this lol this is for anyone who has nothing and need something that they can use to train and add better parts to.

I am not inciting panic, at all. I just think it's wise for people to be prepared and election years almost always make things more scarce.
