People we need to come back together at Heart! The bagpipes remind of all the hurt and pain our ancestors had to go through with sadness! Makes no sense those old things it's in the past please let us grow and learn to love each other again! Blessings to you all with Unconditional Love 💗🎆😘
Every time i hear the pipes, I remember them playing at our ramp ceremonies in Afghanistan. Piping our brave fallen home. I get chills every time. I also remember the pipes on Remembrance Day. Somber and soul raking. Yet, I also remember the pipers at the unit playing at beer calls and family days. Happy toe tapping tunes that sang of ancestry and epic tales. They spoke to all of our past, no matter your background. That is the power of the pipes. Stay true.
I've been to Scotland and it's a beautiful country and the people are nice and were a tremendous help. Special thanks to the man who led us through Glasgow to point us in the right direction.
Hi Rob. I was born in Glasgow, way back when, and it was basically instilled in me to be helpful, which led me to amazing paths in life. Good to hear one of the locals was looking after you.
I am a man from America, but my family is from the island Jura in the 15 century, They would say I'm am American Scotsman, but when my father died in 2015, he told me to never stop being a Scotsman that men would be glad to call you the modern Scotsman who loves his linage and his family. For many years I tried to learn the pipes, but was discouraged here in America, told the only places you have is playing at American funerals. So I gave it up at the age of 16, now at the age I am and see you play the fighting songs that embody the fighting spirit of our ancestry, I stand and give thanks to you my young cousin for giving us a voice it the world of music that in a sense, makes no sense.
Her performance is out of this world. Lets be honest here, she is hot as all hell. Every guy commenting here thinks so. but will not say so. Letting a woman know that we think she is hot is not a crime.
Glad this finally came into my check this out. Don't know my ancestry was adopted. Yet the pipes they always seem to call, and have to listen. Does not hurt Jane is gorgeous! THUMBS UP JANE!!
This lady does it. Bagpipes....the only instrument of war. Nothing sounds like them...and their music reaches deep down in you and grabs hard onto that part of your that is Gael....and fires up your very being. Thank you...mi'lady
My granddad first awoke my love of the pipes. In the many years since he passed, hearing them stirs so many good memories and frequently brings me to tears. So here I am with wet cheeks, and a smile a mile wide
Jane, I literally had tears running down my face watching and listening to this. I’m recovering from cancer treatment and have been confined to my bed for about a year. Your music touches my soul and cheers me immensely. Thank you for being who you are and for doing what you do, nursing and playing the great pipes.
Guy Taylor hey Guy! Thank you for your encouraging and heartfelt message! Wow! That truly touched my heart. I’m sorry for your struggles. I’m just glad you can get some joy from my music 🎶 ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you for being you and don’t give up the fight! The world needs people like you! Take my love ❤️❤️
Jane you are a powerful woman and I'm not the only one who thinks so. From one Celt to another; "Bean cróga ceilteach" It means "Brave Celtic woman" in Gaelic Irish.
I don’t know if it’s our pride for our heritage or what but something about the twang of the pipes gets me right in the heart. It’a a shared feeling brother.
Wow! Shivers and goosebumps and general heebie-jeebies whenever I hear the pipes - and now this Bombshell! Glad am I to live in this age! Cha togar m' fhearg gun dìoladh!
No need to be Scottish to like bagpipes. Nearly every European country has a rich medieval history of them. (and they come from the middle east anyway)
Much sympathy to you. Last year I reconnected with an old friend. He saved my life by giving me a place to come back to after being stuck in another city for many years. Six months later he died. It's been a year now and I still shed tears from time to time.
@@JaneEspie your welcome , i love your music an hope i can get to meet you someday if you come to Australia sometime thou i hope to go to scotland someday an find some of my ancestors .
It reminds me of when I took my granddaughter to the park and there was a piper practicing there. . .she was enthralled and, she didn't want to leave the park until he had finished. When we went home, she asked if I had any of this music. . .I had an old cassette of the "Pipes of Scotland", she had to have it played whenever she took her afternoon nap. . .great memories, thank you Jane, for bringing back those memories❤❤👍👍
Just caught this vid. Loved it. True tale it is... When I was around nine I first heard pipe music. Earned my allowance and bought an album to listen too. My mom came in and asked what was I doing. Told her. She honestly said "Mary Mother of Jesus and Joseph where did I go wrong?" By the way I'm American but my lovely mom was from Dublin. 47 years I've been listening to the bagpipes and sometimes remember that scene and it makes me happy and sad since I lost her 30 years ago. But it was funny.
That is certainly an excellent and powerful performance. Most people have no idea how difficult it is to play the bagpipes. Jane is one of the best and she proves it each time she plays.
Having played in a pipe band several years ago I can confirm keeping that up for 3 minutes with such precision by yourself is not easy. Also you have to keep playing or you loose it. Barely have the lungs for my practice chanter anymore. lol
To you who reads this. I challenge you.... Find the highest mountain you can, hike the trail to the top, and blare this song as loud as you can, for all the land to hear. Bonus points if you do a little dance along with it.
Celtica Bagpipe Warrior Queen!
Hands down the best.... love you Jane... keep rocking those pipes.
That is some badass piping. You rock Jane!!!
From the Scottish /Irish side of me.... rock fookin on!!!
