Great win for the Sky Blues and typical of them to do against the best side in the Division.
We completely underestimated Coventry and they showed us what it is to play high tempo footie, we did the Parkerball today in the first half and went back to type......... the second half was better, Muniz should have been on after 55/60 minutes to help Mitro as they penned him in all game.....the second goal was a howler from Rodak, but he is allowed one a season......Ream was not concentrating and Rodak should have pumped that ball up the pitch......well done Coventry and their fans were the best I have seen all season.....they had a few muppets in there too, who got thrown out....COYWs!!!
Coventry has the defensive blueprint for Fulham. They crowd Mitro so well. We are so one dimensional.
offensively we were very stiff not to score 3 or more ourselves. But at the back we show the same brittle side we have shown for much of the past 5 years. I like Rodak but mistakes like the second are why we will again be after an upgrade at GK. Even the final goal, error by Ream & Rodak but really it just flags that we need to strengthen the back 5.
We'll get up, hopefully we don't implode and not win the league, but if we don't want to yo-yo down we need to strengthen the squad big time.
Thought it was a bit big headed of Fulham to change the day of the game to Sunday and think we’d roll over so they can pick up the trophy, glad we done the double over em great result for the Sky Blues PUSB. Good luck in the Prem tho Fulham you deserve it looked brilliant all season. Just not against us.
Rodak had an absolute howler for the second goal and for their third one we have 2 6,4 CF and he plays the most risky pass ever to a center half facing his own goal on the edge of the box the keeper can’t catch the ball we need to bring in nik pope joe Gomez and Matt target
This game really should be a wake up call to the players. Been very complacent as of late, our position at the top of the league has hidden the fact that since January we have been no better than any of the other clubs in the promotion spots. Down from 19 goals in 3 games, to 5 goals in 5; not that you can expect us to score at such a pace forever but its hard not to see that complacency has set in. Silva should tell the players that the ones who don't show up for these remaining games are going to be the ones who will get dropped next year, simple as.
Piss poor from Fulham today. These players have to show that they’re worthy of getting the job done this season. Those who start to lose form and concentration don’t deserve premier league football next season. Carvalho is not living up to his so called coutinho level potential. A lot of these players have to start performing week in week out. Playing like this against any premier league team like today, the score line can be easy 7-0. If they want to compete in the premier league, start playing like it week in week out no excuses
Mate there are 23 clubs in this league who are no where near as consistent as Fulham have been, give it a rest.
