What's with Sardesai's lame statements and stereotyping! The man has really become a ghost of his past greatness.

I can understand that being a "probashi" bengali it is impossible to feel the essence of the language of kolkata.
However, he seemed to be especially proud of himself for such ignorance. And it is unfortunate.
    Aum Shanti

He is so chatu....ufff....that was not your personal national award dude. The film got that award, and you were named just as a receiver as per national award rules. Have you taken permissions from your actors, technicians, producers? How much democratic was your decision? First, get one award and then reject it.

Hello! The director is the author of the film. Therefore if the film gets an award it means the director got it personally. That's why even directors prefers Best Film awards to Best Director award. The Best Film award is generally seen as the better award for the director than the Best Director award.

I think it would been better if he worked for some NGO and worked as a activist with no connect with the society or reality. If pakistani films were banned for screening that was for some reason which it seems he is not aware of or pretending not to know it , these people are dangerous for this country as they have no feeling for this country These so called liberals have a agenda and that is sometimes very anti India and anti people but they have been exposed ie the award wapsi gang. I have lost all respect for him as a filmmaker when he joined the political agenda of the award wapsi gang.
