Answering questions (Feel free to ask more in the replies!!!).
"Why can't you spawn goblins?" Goblin scouts don't spawn at night, so I cannot get the drops required for the event's summoning item.
"Why are you in journey mode?" While the settings are on master, I am playing in journey mode. This is to pause time without mods.
"Why is the audio in one ear at the beginning?" This is weird, but I actually only have one working ear (Actual ear not headphone). I had no idea I had it on the wrong settings as my headphone is adjusted for me... That's on me, but next time I'll have it fixed! (ty for letting me know).
"Why don't you use shimmer?" I am playing in a version of the game where shimmer is not yet added.
"Why is your voice strained?" It's not to sound deeper, that's just me talking into the mic with settings to combat the background noise of me scooting around in my chair like a goofball. (The gain is higher and there's a setting to compress the audio, the result is it's a little deeper than you might hear me in other peoples videos). The beginning IS me speaking in a lower tone, because I personally find humor in dropping it after I explain how hard the challenge will be.

Absolutely! Was an artist commissioned to make it, or did Loaffy make it themself?
You could have gotten Tinkerer, actually. Even if Scouts get overridden by Blood Moon spawns, you could find a statue underground and grind scouts that way for the battle standard. Fallen Stars could be renewable if you used Don't Dig Up, though a secret world seed is kinda beside the challenge.
A lot of stuff actually is renewable in this playthrough as of the current version, despite being grown. Crates can theoretically give more bait than you use, though this is unlikely. This would give a renewable source of potions and all alchemy herbs, in a world with shimmer. Wood and iron crates give access to all herb types. Coral is also (technically) renewable with Gills Potion decrafting, making all fishing potions also (technically) renewable. Problem is it would have been hell to do this; best fishing pole available is Fiberglass, and fallen stars seem to be non-renewable, I'm not finding any way of getting them other than decrafting sunplate brick. Evil bosses are non-renewable while Skeletron, WoF, and Plantera are especially bad with forcing one tries. As for getting NPCs to not get spawnfragged by enemies, you can put walls behind them. If Angler spawns, you could in theory reroll for a specific quest reward you want, but that feels cheesy. Funnily enough, Chlorophyte is also renewable... but only post ML. Wood is actually instantly renewable as tree shake counts aren't saved with the world, letting you shake trees infinitely, but faster farming comes with fertilizer and later with... uh... I guess summoning Pumpkin Moon for spooky wood would invalidate the challenge? I think you also really underrated your choice for arrows; you can buy them from skeleton merchant whenever you want, and most hardmode arrows are renewable as usual. You can't get cursed arrows without Dryad in this world, but you can get holy arrows freely, with a unicorn statue if you really need more horns. You can get ichor arrows and frostburn arrows, and bone arrows actually pierce once, which is nice. The losers in terms of ammo are bullets, which are obtained by either grinding for crimson/corruption crates or opening presents for their guns and small boosts of ammo, and the real loser is rockets, which are strictly finite as you can only get them from your one Plantera kill. It's a shame that you didn't get to work with shimmer.
One thing that could have saved some time: mining speed stacking. You can get 25% from ancient chisel, 30% from mining set at the cost of no defense and less damage, up to 15% from some juicy food, 25% from mining potion... If you had rerolled your mythril pickaxe for a speed bonus or gotten an adamantite pickaxe, then stacked 70% mining speed buffs, you would have mined literally 5x as fast. Your mining speed would have gone from 10, to 2.7 rounding down to 2. It's an insane convenience boost.
Twins can be cheesed with teleporters, Sorbet Cafe made a video on this (and other boss cheeses) and a teleporter setup can let you avoid all dashes and walls block all projectiles.
It actually looks like your Plantera arena might have been too big; if the middle doesn't count as jungle, she'd occasionally enrage and that would explain a lot of her sudden dashes and potentially any absurd damage from spiky balls. You could have actuated some portions of jungle instead of outright removing them to avoid this; actuated blocks still count towards biome checks. In theory you could also farm Eye of Cthulhu for crimson seeds and get purification powder if some evil mushrooms naturally existed and you were able to shimmer them, but this is a lot of ifs.

There's a whole builds community on here if you look. Old habits just die hard in Terraria. Not using npc hotels and being encouraged to build by game mechanics are all fairly new concepts for older players. Some likely conflate it to building arenas, something akin to a chore.

Hey, friendly reminder that enemies don’t spawn on player placed walls, and I’m pretty sure bloodmoons don’t affect this. this would’ve been helpful in keeping alive the tavernkeep and preventing spawns on both arenas.

I think you could have gotten the tinkerer, by summoning the goblin army manually from using tattered cloth dropped from the goblin scout.

I assume this was the best way to instantly set the time to night and freeze time. Preventing the blood moon from ending, EVER

@@boizpanda8168 You can change enemy difficulty in journey mode. Unsure if that affects drop chances for things like trophies. I don't play enough journey mode to know.

journey mode is required for this play through if the time has to be frozen
The fatsest and simpliest method to kill twins is just flying up with frost or harpy wings and shooting spasmatism with fast bow, when u fall sometimes use shield to dash.
Spasmatism second phase is hard but just try out run him.(Use: terraspark boots, shield, ballons or bottles,wings or just fast mount like unicor)
Retinezer is really easy when you defeat spamatism.
Retinazer first phase is easy.
Second phase is kinda tricky, if he is shooting lasers very fast just fly up like u do with spasmatism.
If you are bad, just make box out of planks, dirt whatever, and try attacking it with dedaulus stormbow :))

Uh this wouldve probably been easier with better arrows, especially the empress fight with the daedalus stormbow since it doesn't even have converted arrows, holy arrows notoriously
The fight with the wall of flesh honestly gave me an idea, imagine a challenge playthrough where you have to beat every boss on the first attempt, including random spawns (whether or not events like goblins, pirates and martians apply here is up for debate) but IMAGINE how terrifying the moon lord fight would be in such a challenge. Die, even once, and you're sent back to the start of the game.
Hardcore but only for bosses!

Spamatism is pretty easy to learn his pattern, first phase he will shoot cursed flames, time it right and start flying hard while dodging Retinazer's lasers, rinse and repeat until the next phase, that's when you MUST run from Spamatism as he will activate his stinky breath for a few sec, when you heard boss activating sounds, keep flying and time your wing while watching out for Spasmatism, after 5 dashes he will breath stinky breaths and rinse and repeat, after defeating Spasmatism, Retinazer will now be a easy win, 2nd phase just time it right to fly and eventually you will win The Twins' fight

From what I think you're supposed to be able to do 2 events in the same time.
The wiki says they only spawn during the day
They do not spawn at night. At least that's what the wiki, and my 3 hours waiting for one told me LOL

Also, your sense of humor is awesome. It’s not too over the top, but still high energy enough to be engaging. Catching a quick glimpse at the comments, I was already made aware of how cool the builds were going to be, but still wasn’t prepared for the creativity! I don’t see underground bases that often, so my mind was blown a little bit upon realizing that there’s an entire other half of the world I could be building in.

Thank you so much for the kind words! The animation is made in Aseprite, no filters, just drawn in 1 bit. To get the movement effect I just used keyframes.

that twins victory scene was NOT necessary yet it was just the hype i needed
you can get a hellwing bow still btw
fishing in lava with lava bait or a lavaproof hook can give hell crates which can drop shadow lock boxes which act as an infinite source of shadow chests
No bug net means no bait for lava fishing (since I think you specifically need underworld bait if you don’t have a fireproof fishing rod/hook)

One suggestion, at the end, instead of saying “the moon lord went down” don’t say anything at all and just play the clip. It adds more suspense as to whether you baiting us or not and gives a better finale. Great work!

A lone archer stands in a land he was banished to by the gods, the sun never rises and he's surrounded by darkness; unrelenting gore eternally rains down from the heavens above.
It would've been cold if not for the blood boiling in his veins.
The only refuge he can find is within the deep caverns of this world, but even in the depths the gods torment him with an endless horde of abominations ready to rip apart his desperate attempts at survival.
It took what would have been countless days and nights if the sun had risen on this forsaken land, but he eventually ventured back up to the surface, and in time, slew the god that banished him.
u can use an exploit to guarantee yourself any of the angler quest rewards that are available to you, so u could have gotten a golden bug net from your 1 and only angler quest. all you have to do is to turn off autosave, give the angler his fish, alt+f4 if the reward was not what you wanted. you will be back at the moment before handing in the fish after the restart. saved me a lot of headache while getting the fishing accessories before shimmer
