At the end you point out the depth of the mud, but the deposits on the sides and maybe markings on the shoring show the water level was i don't know 2 feet higher for many years...thank you again, I'm a new guy...ron
I know we’re ones at to in Washington, the rails are wood, with bans of steel on it, carts at the entrance of the mine, it’s amazing how the wheels still roll being rusty, but they were well greased. We able to roll it on the tracks but that was back in the 80’s
It’s at bare mt basin, above the donkey steam engine, the mine to the far left of the mines that are known on the old forest service maps of the basin, just below bear lake.
to me, it looks like all the timbers into the mine entrance were all burned at some point. Like the flames were sucked into the opening from air drafting.
I do like watching these explorations in wet mines. The colours and formations are truly amazing
Thank you appreciate you watching.
Thanks for posting them. I have just subbed and I’m going to start watching from the beginning. I’m quite excited looking at some of the thumbnails
It looked like crystals were growing on some of the timbers. Really cool. Thank you .
Thank you! Appreciate your comments.
I never knew our state had such a basement...ron...again, thank you
There are a lot of hidden historic surprises.
Are there still Trillium flowers in our forests that you have seen...thank you...ron
Yes, there is still Trillium.

Yes, a lot of mines show high water marks. Some were blocked at the entrance at some point, allowing the water to back up.
Silly as it might sound, but has there ever been a radioactive possibility in these mines...thank you ...ron
There uranium mines in part of the state. But for these mines no.

I wonder if yhe crystals are from the salts found in copper ore, certainly has the color to make it seem like it!
Possibly quite a bit of calcite also.

It does look that way. It seems mostly rot and oxidation. There is no history of a fire. However, if there had been a forest fire would agree.
Which trail is this one?
