Thank you so much for all your efforts and work.
Really excited for v9. I love the horizontal power structure and the take on martial classes.
Thank you for taking this pace for v9. Not just for your volunteers health but also so nothing is rushed out.

I love the idea of horizonal class progression, and fewer credits per level. I'm very excited for seeing where we are in October.

I’m just going to point out the confidence polls had a lot of bias because only members of the v9 discord filled them out and anyone who was already fed up with or disillusioned by v9 probably isn’t interacting with the discord. So for the v9 group it’s 66-68% but for the general population it’s probably closer to 50% or less

It also doesn't include the average player, since a good chunk of players don't know it exists.

There is a point to be made of player involvement as a whole with the project. As it stands "currently," only 15% of players are openly active or there abouts. I know my kingdom could have a better representation of it if it was discussed more. Either way, out of those numbers, there are still individuals who *are involved* who decide to voice their opinion of confidence

Hopefully you guys don't try to reinvent the wheel & botch something as simple as ditch rules. I got faith, but I'm always concerned when people try to create a new V

Wait, you mean I can't just buy a sword and board as a healer and bonk people?

the class choosing seems a little easy to confuse what people have access to

Larp as a whole has a high chance of attracting "undesireables" ala people who dont work well with large groups and instead form "clicks" and pretty much stick to them. Amtgard in particular is notorious for this.
The amount of discussion regarding V9 across the boards seems quite limited to "those in the know" or off hand commentary.
There is a serious lack of awareness about it and the restriction on player involvements and overzealous moderation of the project leads me to believe that amtgard wont last the next decade.

IK that assassin/ rogue is a really popular fantasy for people but i wish it wasnt so blatantly and harshly discouraged by the game and its rules. Ive played since Barbarians could scream for natural armor at lvl 1 and assassin has been the worst class since and only gets worse every edition in comparison, dont believe me? play anything else to level 2 and have a hard time going back to your level 6 that is ripped or killed insub by any class that cant bend you over with armor or a shield. at least, you can have a even fight with a monk and kill druids and heale- oh wait they can shove and hold you more than you can insub away lol :3 joke class with obviously no playtesting for years which punishes a han solo/john wick rp and is the single biggest noob trap. you are 100x better playing a wizard as a thief, rogue or if you wanted to RP a assassin with the ability to kill anyone as lame af as that is. I personally hate class play completely this edition and the last, its just verbals and immunities, devolved into the lightning bolt meme but now with a mini argument like "nuh uhh im immune!". FFS my group plays a single class game then we ditch now...
If there was a alternative close id try it in a heartbeat. Rant over, ill go back under my rock now...
