Super impressive....I just turned 15 myself and am looking to continue sewing and improve

I just made the first top! I'm a beginner and this was my first project. Even though it didn't turn out perfect, it still was a great practice for me, and I loved this tutorial. I'll revisit it once I become better at sewing, lol
Hi! How long did it take you to make the top? I am a beginner too and am wondering if I am up to making this. Thanks!
@@rebeccacampart1005 Hi! I think it took me about two hours!
@@singbyblur thank you! Xx
I know I am extremely late but I was wondering whenever this was your first ever time doing something with a sewing machine or if you had practised for a few weeks and then did it? Sorry I am just wondering if this can be my first project.

Ahhhh yesss I’m so glad I found this, I made a skirt and was left over with and odd rectangle of fabric that I wanted to do something with but didn’t want a tube top. Top number one seems like it’ll be perfect! Plus I get a matching top out of scrap fabric, total bonus!!!

Lovely design of all tops
Hi! Love your vid! First time sewing since my boyfriend got me a mini sewing machine, and I'm learning first from you! Really excited to try new patterns and tops.
Made the first top today! Thanks so much! It was easy to follow
I just decided to make one of these using some tea towels I removed from the bottom kitchen drawer so it would shut. Clean white and gold tea towels I have never used. Very GC! Thanks for the inspiration.
I LOVE this idea! That'll come up so nice!
I ´ve just made all of the top , so amazing 💕
really like the video and I run to my sewing machine, I do the first top it’s very
easy and cute. Thanks 🥰❤️❤️
Thank you so much for this video! I am a total beginner, and after days searching for an easy first project, the first of this tops is the only one I feel is doable for me: only straight lines and very easy measurements, all the other videos feature complicated (for me) sleeves and curved collars which would be a nightmare... I just learned how to sew more or less straight on my sewing machine 😂
So again, thank you!
i love this video, the tops are so easy and so cool.
upload more videos like that
omg thank you!! was just tempted to buy cami tops at the shops earlier but now I can just make them 😎
Yessss always so much more rewarding making a unique number that no one else will have ⚡️⚡️
I loved your Videos all your Tutorials ♥️
I'm a beginner I love this and I'm definitely making the gathered Ballon top
I just made the fourth top and I love it! It was super simple to make and the video was really helpful and clear. Can’t wait to wear this in the summer! :]
Hi, I just made the first one and it was amazing, so thank u for this tutorial. greetings from Chile
Thank you exist in RUclips world . 🤩 ive been thinking for a long time if I can sew . I HAVE NO EXPERIENCE and then I saw your videos. 🤩
I made the 4th one white linen and added lining but in the front only (I didn't have enough fabric for the back part, but the lining is not important on the back side at all)
It turned out so so beautiful. I think this is going to be my favourite blouse for this summer.
I'm gonna make much more in other colors/fabrics
It is so unique and easy to make, it is nice with or without straps
Thank you for this video ❤️
As per usual, the video was 🔥 🔥 🔥 At this point, i'm using your videos as ASMR as well as learning.
Hahaha love that. Thanks so much 🥰😘
These are so cute, def gonna try this out
I love all of them 💜💜 I think I'm going to make one for myself 🤔
I tried the first one and it came out great.

My absolute pleasure! x
Thank you!!! I know what I’m going to this weekend now 🙌🙌
Exciting!!! 💃🏼
Yes,for beginners 👍
Let's watch 😉
Thank you from France
Such perfect beginner sewing projects!
Thank you for this tutorial! Not only are these tops beginner friendly, but they’re super fashionable!
The first one is exactly the style I've wanted to make
What is marvellous with your little tops is that they can be worn over a tee shirt.
It gives that extra bit of modesty (without having to wear a bra, which are so uncomfortable).
It's not as hot as a waistcoat (which I wear in winter, but find to hot in summer).
Thank you so much.
I will definitely be trying them, and even mixing and matching which strap to do...
So many options.
I do love the encased elastic for the straps.
Thank you.
I ❤ your videos. Thank you!
Just love ittt!!!!❤❤
Way back 2 yrs ago ... Ive been watching this but it's not easy Todo it but now . I'm totally can do this .... ❤
I Love it so much, great job 😍💖👌🏼
Thanks so much ☺️☺️
Thanks for sharing!!!
Definitely beginner friendly. Thank you!
So glad you agree 🥰🥰
Thank you!
nice work ❤️🥺
it would be amazing to see you collab with Rosery Apparel- you're both aussie and have super cool aesthetics which would go together sooo well
Perdfect diversity for beginners!
I made the first one it turned out great, but still will have to adjust to my body type later😂 was my first project, I enjoyed this tutorial!
Hi! Very very cool your tops. I have a machine, I sew a few. Thank you for tutorial. Amazing!!!
Saving this for the shirring tutorial!
Omg, love it
Thank you
For begginers at the second top: when u sew the elastic tunnels, sew BOTH first, then put the elastic in. Sewin one with the another already gathered can be tricky, since it feels like youre sewing a circle
Thank you 😍😍😍
Just made the first top yesterday and I love it soooo much! It's my favourite thing I've ever made now. I'm going to make it in so many more colours. Perfect top for my backpacking trip in september. Packs up super small, lightweight, don't have to wear a bra, can be dressed up or down. I'm just obsessed! Thank you so much!!!
I'm Super impressed with your easy to follow & well explained tutorial. Also you have a lovely, listenable voice. Thanks so much.
beautiful editing
Thanks
The clothes in the intro look like something from American Eagle, super cute!
Lovely, well done 😎
Too kind! Thank you 🥰
So cool
Love this, thank you for sharing! Do you think you can do the purpled checkered pattern with silk?
thank you so much for making this your vids are so beautiful and helpful and everything looks so professional!
Epic video Maddy
😘😘😘
I made the first one, but with a tie up strap and I have a few notes for doing a bust-alteration:
1 - the straps will need to be closer together because your bust measurement will be wider. Pin them into place, then put the top on, then move the pinned straps until they are comfortable and flattering. You may prefer to have the front and back straps in different positions.
2- I found it easiest to put my darts along the top, my darts were in the same position as my straps, I sewed them last but that looks a little messy on the inside. ymmv.
3-- the side seam will be a little bit weird, again just because the entire top is based on bust measurement. I found it easiest to baste a side seam, put the top on, make marks of where it needed to come in, baste and repeat. This reduced the gaping on the back that would otherwise occur due to the difference between the front and back measurements of the chest.
But the instructions that Maddy gave were a great starting point and really easy to follow.
