I can't remember off the top of my head, but generally I always use between 3-5 for stitch length and then a standard tension. But play around with your setting. A longer stitch length can give a more shirred appearance :)
Hi very new to sewing! This tutorial is great! Just some beginner questions … What stitch length did you use and do you reverse stitch the beginning and end of each row?
You need to use your own bust measurement and x it by 1.5. You could also use a wider strap for better support. You could also add more rows of shirring if needed

Hi. Love how your instructions are clear for me who is a newbie. But question would I need to adjust the tension on the machine?
Thank you, this was so straightforward and easy for me to follow
Thank you! This was do helpful❤
So glad you love the tutorial ❤️
Hey, what were the tension and stitch settings for your setting?
I can't remember off the top of my head, but generally I always use between 3-5 for stitch length and then a standard tension. But play around with your setting. A longer stitch length can give a more shirred appearance :)
Do you back stitch at the start and end of every line with the shirring??
You can if you want or you can sew a few lines down and pivot down to the next bit and then repeat.
❤Thank you!
Tammy please do a full video of how you set up the cotton on the machine for shirting ? Thanks 🎉@Tammy handmade
Do you have an instruction video on how to set up the machine for shirring. I have tried many, and none is able to shirr 100% linen fabric.
how many yards of fabric did you use?
Nice❤❤
Thank you ❤️
Hi very new to sewing! This tutorial is great! Just some beginner questions …
What stitch length did you use and do you reverse stitch the beginning and end of each row?
Measurements don’t work for anyone with big boobs. Far too small
You need to use your own bust measurement and x it by 1.5. You could also use a wider strap for better support. You could also add more rows of shirring if needed
