Maybe add round mirrors for above the nightstands. Everything in the room is very straight and angular, so the round mirrors would balance the look.
I’m also trying not to use my phone first thing in the morning/last thing at night! I feel Iike it’ll make me go on my phone less throughout the day. And I’m a planner so I always take into account how long something will take when planning my day. Would recommend it for people who want to organize their day better!
I don’t necessarily make New Year’s resolutions per se, but after watching this I too don’t want to procrastinate anymore, and did some adulting things today. Took care of my insurance. Called my school’s financial aid. I handled collecting money that is owed to me. Located some important docs, so I can begin renewing my passport. Thank you so much for inspiring me girlie! Please keep us updated on how you’re maintaining ditching these habits!!!!

Loool the LifeTime fitness family hack is such a GOOD idea!! Also, it's actually not annoying to hear filler words! I think that most of us use them too so our brains just filter them out lol. It's definitely a really good habit to work on, I think I'll be joining you by working on that!

Hi Amanda! I just found out yesterday that Sprouts sells re-usable bags made for grocery items, like the small ones for fruits/veggies etc. I found them in the groceries section. I would highly recommend checking that out since I saw you said that you try not to use that much plastic! :))

Funny the phone is my goal as well this yr too. I told myself don't check it till 10am I wake up around 8am or much earlier. I do not keep it near my bed it is in another room. I have been very good about that so far. I use to check it when I have my tea in the morning now I do not. So far so good. I wanted to cut down on social media I am only on FB and youtube I have cut down on FB, I check it maybe once a wk. If that. My next project to cut down on is RUclips. But then I will miss you and your sister. You are the main 3 I follow. I am working on my procrastination too. I have to say after listening to skillshare, I write down stuff I need to get done for the day even if it is just say write 3 pages for the children's book that I am working on. If I put that on my to-do list then I tend to write 3 or more pages. If it is not written on my daily to-do list then I do not write it. Makes me accountable. Healthier eating too.

I'm the same way lol My husband and I cuddle for a bit and then we turn over to each have our own space. In the very beginning, we woke up in one another's arms, but we now wake up facing opposite sides. Good call. Go for the king size bed. Mashallah. I don't like the mirrors on each side of the bed. I don't like the mirror idea because it will just collect dust. I think a fake or real plant or candle or lamp would be better but that's just my personal taste. Do what you want it's your apartment.

I feel like at the nightstand U shouldn’t really put both mirror and lamp cause then it might be a little too much. The mirror would look better cause it will add more space to the room and make it seem bigger. If you think a lamp is going to be more functional in ur bedroom then u can add that. Or maybe if u want both then u can put a mirror and have those lamps that are hooked into the wall I’d yk what I mean. They seem more modern and would fit ur bedroom better but like I said you do you this is just an idea

just wondering about the whole living in your own apartment situation!!
so I am not really aware of your situation but I was wondering as you are going to get married in the future inshallah with your soon to be husband, because of his work-study career where you'll have to move for a certain period of time until he finishes and then you two will buy your own house to live in for the rest of your life, I was wondering like why not live with your parents because these times won't really come again where the whole family you live together and just you know, its a blessing. I know that you want to be more independent but I guess now that you have had your apartment for some years you know how to run a house and have ideas around it as well as being prepared/ independent but I feel like living with your parents for the last time is so nice until you get married and probably it would be at least 2 years or even so, as well as you could save a lot of your money whilst also working, spending time with you family, having availability to anything and everything and all that but i was just wondering and you will for the rest of your life be living in your own apartment/house with your husband and be making memories so when you get married and move from your parent's house to your house on the wedding day is just the best feeling ever, that is really how you know you are going to spend your whole beautiful life with him and then start making children so i hope you take my advice, whether you adhere by it or not, i wanted to really state that !!
