When the time comes for that married part of your life, you’re not even gonna remember these moments. I met my husband when I was 32 and got married at 35. I’m almost 39 now and I don’t even remember what that first part of my life was like. Your time will come, and Inshallah.

Hey Amanda♥️ I’m 28 (turning 29 soon) and I’m neither married nor engaged. Life can be very tough and lonely and nothing kills more than lonliness especially if the people around you are not very loving, caring nor supportive. I sometimes wonder if I’ll ever find the one and get married, but inshallah with Allah’s plan I know I’ll be content with whatever he gives. We can’t expect everything from this life as it is not our eternal destination. You should look at the positive side at least you have your family, you’re working and you found your partner and now you’re religiously married alhamdullilah. Try enjoying your time now as much as you can, Allah gave you this time for a reason so use it wisely. Tomorrow if you move in together and have kids, you’d wish you had some time for yourself. So cherish these moments and remember that there’s good in every delay👍🏻

My fiancée and I were in a LDR for almost 5 years while I was in law school and he was working a full time job in another city and sometimes you just want to do something “everyday” like make dinner and watch a show with your partner. I was in a long distance relation for 4 years. My husband and I met in college then he left to medical school all the way in Florida (I was in NJ). We’d see each other once every few months and it was the hardest 4 years ever. I completely understand those moments of frustration love. When you wish you can just go in the car and drive 20 minutes to see him.
We recently got married a few months ago and I’m so thankful for being long distance because we really appreciate every moment spent together. If we were together everyday before officially moving in together, I don’t think marriage would’ve been as special. I pray the long distance flies by and you’ll be together in no time iA. I totally understand the feeling of wanting to be married and being together everyday, I used to be very sad and felt lonely living by myself but one thing that helped me with those feeling was getting a fur baby ❤️ my dog helped me so much emotionally and not feeling lonely, before I got married ✨

Long distance relationships are very difficult. I’ve once been in one for over 5 years. Today, we are best friends and supportive of each other’s relationships. But, the long distance proved to be a bit too much for me.

My Allah Amanda my situation is same like you.I worked so hard I am 28 and I am not married.I studied on my own money. Somethimes there are some points to let go, maybe you do not need to wait to really know where you will be moving together, just get married and things will come into place. But with that you can encounter frustration or emotions that can drain you down but remember that ‘verily with hardships come with ease’. Amanda I just want to say thank you for being vunerable in this video, it made me feel less alone in the struggles I'm facing and I think sometimes its easy for us to forget that everyone is going through something in life that is getting them down but it's important that we all remember we're all human with real human emotions and we just want to be happy, so I know you was saying that you're life is good right now and listing all the good things, I'm not trying to take away from that because it's good to be grateful but it's good to have some compassion for ourselves if we are feeling a little down about something and maybe we wish it was different. You can still have a good life and good people around you and still have those down moments. Hey Amanda, I’ve been/still am in a long distance relationship for almost 6.5 years now and seeing each other (Fri-Sun) only and occasionally spending vacations together and it can be really hard (ugly crying every Sunday lol) but just know that it truly gets easier (I no longer cry, stopped after the 3 year mark 🤣). Just stay put and make sure you develop a routine Sundays/most nights that makes you feel good at the end of the night! Hugs from one gal to another! 💛

I’m 28 , married with a toddler and my daughter and I live overseas far away from my husband 😥. I had to leave my husband cause I finally got a job (I have a master degree in Computer science from A university in the U.S) and my husband still studying in the U.S. and I work in Saudi Arabia. It is the hardest decision that I have ever made especially my little baby girl misses her dad 💔, and I have never been this faraway for this long time ( 3 months) . I really understand what you feel it is totally normal, inshallaah everything will be ok soon. We all want to be living with our loved ones, and it will happen soon. Just try to keep your self busy and do fun things together like u can play online together this will make u have some fun time. Sorry for the TMI BUT I Feel u 🙏🏻🙏🏻💗

I'm 38 and I’m neither married nor engaged. I live alone 24/7 and there are no loving, caring or supportive people around .. no family, no husband and no friends alhamdulillah for everything.
Bless you sister, I'm the same sort of age, twice divorced, with two children who the ex took away, my daughter was emotionally abused by her father after being brain washed about me and she tried to end her life many many times. I didn't get to see both children for over 8 years until my daughter (now 19) made contact for about 3 months 2 years ago and now she sometimes communicates by msgs but hasn't met me for a year..my son (15) still hasn't made contact with me and it'll be 9 years..my step dad and two remaining brothers all have autism and my mum is ill from looking after them. She was taken in through the emergency for not being able to breath. One brother is a recluse and one is a drug addict and one has passed away. I have ill health myself, bad painful hands and UC and I'm surrounded my intrusive neighbours who make things worse..Alhamdulillah Alhamdulillah for everything sister because it keeps reminding us that it is indeed Allah that remains and we can count on and no one else wether through the weakness of being human and not able to help you or just not being very kind but you know something?? Allah knows. Please please keep smiling through your tears. May you always be blessed Alhamdulillah

Hi Amanda. I’m sorry you’re going through a tough time. I found the main reason why I struggled in my LDR was because I realized in my relationship I never took time for myself and invested in my own hobbies. I always put my partner first and did shared hobbies. Now that I have moved on from that relationship due to my previous partner not recognizing the importance of alone vs shared time I have been able to find a balance of shared and individually hobbies. Obviously you don’t share all of your life, but just from observation I don’t see you mention hanging out with friends outside of your family or with your significant other. Maybe picking up a sport or hobby could allow you to have a freeing focus in your lifestyle allowing you to not dwell on where you aren’t in your life yet. I can understand the sentiment of wanting to be married but just know that your path is laid out and maybe this alone time is meant to develop your individual relationships before coming together ultimately strengthening that shared relationship.
