I have a choas bowie. The handguard is very good and the width is sufficient. Although the overall weight is very heavy, the center of gravity is very close to the handle, which makes me want a choas kukri. Unfortunately, it is discontinued.
My first Cold Steel fixed blade is the G.I. tanto and haven't used it for anything yet. I just got the trench knife with the double blade but I originally wanted the tanto version but cannot find it for sale anywhere. And I definitely want the bowie version as well. And last week I just got the 1917 bowie from Cold Steel and can't wait to put it through its paces during my next camping trip. Great video and thanks for the descriptions.
I've owned and used long time Kukuri is my home defense knife with my ksg of course Bowie is in my get home bag Tanto is in my edc pack Push dagger is my under steering wheel anti car jack tool. Removed the glassbreakers though Sold the dagger as not use to me Triangle I have attached to my armor vest as it'll punch through most armor as well as small footprint
Great collection... I've never seen that Kukri or triple edged dagger before - I don't think they even make those anymore. I have the Bowie and the dagger. They are my apocalypse knives for sure.
@@beagleboss1334 why does it have to be thin. Plenty room for a good size tang in that grip. And it is screwed and also the same in the butt cap. This is how knives and swords have been made the last thousands of years without problems. Bowie knives Kukri knives and all others and all swords. None of them are weak. This is for combat and it is not a batooning froe. It is a very strong knife for what it is made for, with superb materials witch is also heat treated in the right way. I dont understan why it would be weak. The full tang thing is just a survival knife selling point. Allways the newest steel, cant trust the old ones anymoore, newest beast thick blade and so on. It's just bs. Dont get all lost in that money jungle.
@@bushcraft_in_the_north which knife are you talking about? I thought you were discussing the push knife, where I talk about the tang. Obviously the larger knives have tangs. If that’s all you’re saying, then yes, they all have tangs.
They all are defense knives & blades , they not really designed for a lot of camp and work task but meanly for combat or self defense by knuckles duster with blades and or points. WWI & WWII soldiers would have love those things I think. ⚖️🦉
Very good collection of Trench Knives & Weapons by Cold Steel 🥶❄️🥶❄️🥶
Subscribed. Cheers from Texas!
Regarding the new Chaos Push Knife: On Midway USA, someone did a magnet test and determined there is a steel tang inside.
Nice Collection. :-) Peace, Stiletto :-)

I've jeard that the push dagger jas a small amount of metal inside the plastic to support the
Tang of the Blade. 😊
It needs spikes on the hand guard for the post apocalypse road warrior feel 😊

The butt cap glass breaker, scullcrusher or what you want to call it, is made of 1055 carbon steel and the tang goes all the way.
Nice! Thanks for the info. That’s crazy, I don’t see how though… if it goes all the way through it has to be crazy thin and not really effective.

So far I have a drop forged wasp which is a dagger, and a kobun made with the aus-10
I know this is a year old comment but I recently got the Wasp... awesome knife.
The line is pretty BA. Only complaint is the divider between the fingers. Other than that, straight bawss
Brilliant video, thank you! Just curious, do they still sell the 3 point knife?
Would you sell the stiletto one?
Has anyone taken off the handles?
The first one is good for stabbing humans?
Would you sell the stiletto one?
I would not. I was going to tell you to go buy one but I see they're discontinued... bummer.
