It was a weird feeling. We finally got to take the rig out of the first shop today. So we took it back to my brother-in-law's place and started packing it up. We already have some ideas of minor modifications we want to make just based on our lifestyle and gear. We'll see how it all pans out. I'm sure it will take us a few nights to start getting into a new rhythm. We were so used to living out of GUARDIAN (our Jeep Wrangler) that we had that process pretty dialed in. Thanks Rob. 3 more shops to go after we leave Juniper today. Our next shop is Sonoran Expedition Collective in Tucson, AZ. We should be in the area by June 28th to start that process. So much more to come on the details of the unit. Next week's video should feature our interior build out with the Goose Gear we've selected. ~ Eric

Thanks! We hope so. We'll definitely put all of what we're taking with us to the ultimate test. We'll see how things do over the next 10-15 years. It will be interesting for sure. Thanks for the kind words and for tuning in. ~ Eric
Thanks so much Michael, it really is. We can't wait to take it out. We leave the Denver area on our first real trip in it on June 25th! So not too long from now. Until then we are headed to a family reunion up in the Rockies somewhere tomorrow. (Brittany's side of the family) and trying to decompress a little from this first stage of the build process. We need it. Having said that, we're both itching to get back out on the road, and Caspian has said it too. We're nomadic. It is in our DNA. ~ Eric

Appreciate that Travis. Thanks for watching. So much more to come on this build. Every modification and part that we're adding was carefully considered. ~ Eric
Thank you Brian. Have you seen our latest video? We show the completed vehicle. At least the major build portions are finished. Now it is just fine tuning, small mods, and shakedown. ~ Eric
Thanks Adrian! We still have a way to go, but when we are finished with the fourth shop we'll be able to do a full-walk around with everything deployed. Until then we'll focus in on various parts of the build. We've been getting a lot of questions and we'll do our best to answer them. Thanks for watching! ~ Eric
Thanks Cliff, we have quite a few videos now in our Jeep Gladiator Overland Build playlist. Hope you've had a chance to look through them. Let me know if you have any questions. ~ Eric
This is outstanding. From watching other other outback videos. I would raise it 2 in Minimum. And put some bigger tires on. This way the brush and rocks will not tear up underneath your vehicle. And you can drive your vehicle to a more remote area.
I just notice you switched the door swing - for me it was a deal-breaker to not be able to change the way it open. Everyone, I mentioned this change to looked at me as if I was from Mars as if, what difference would it make. All the difference in the world IMHO. This rig was optimized for RHD vehicle. OK4wd just emailed me on the "very new" narrow window for the Gullwing door. (not on website yet) BTW - I took the smaller bed platform off - just didn't figure we would need it at all. I may install a 1/3 size piece in its place using one of the hinges since you mentioned the stand-up desk use and a table to eat at during miserable weather.
Yeah, it could definitely have good applications. The smaller platform that is. I think the windows you are referring to are the GP Factor ones aren’t they? I’ve seen a prototype on someone’s rig online but haven’t seen them in person yet. ~ Eric
@@HourlessLifeI just installed a prototype table 19.5" * 16" up top (passenger's side) and it will make a good size stand up spot and the way I have my accc set uip it can likely reman in the down position pretty much all the time - and with the hind I can have it up if need be. I think the design is a wrap. Now I need to figure out what naterial to use & buiild a proper table.
@@HourlessLife I've made a few shelves and a step plate (wider platform for entry on the bumper) all out of 5/16" check plate aluminum. Rigid enough to stick out unsupported for a 16" shelf without defrecting and good for the 8" wide step platform (this made a huge difference for traction and support when climbing in/out) Here is a link they sent me for the window - not very tall though www.lewmar.com/node/11265?v=24327
Badass association !!!! Unfortunately Gladiator payload in my country 600kg - canopy camper weight ~250kg = 350kg Not enough if you want to travel with your family ... Raptor = same same ...
Thanks Patrick. Appreciate you checking it out. We've been sharing about our travels most recently. (Since that is what overlanding is about) but always happy to answer any questions or maybe even do a follow up video if anyone has questions. I tried to cover as much information as I could during our build series. Hope it was helpful. ~ Eric
I don’t know why they did the hinges in a different color. They do stand out. I’m sure Alu-Cab has their reasons. We may Black it out eventually. But we’re still letting it all sink in at this point. ~ Eric
I love your world travel plans. Have a great adventure, be safe, and God bless. One question.. 10-15 years in a jeep? 2-3, maybe. And that would still be epic.
Thanks Matt. We aren't on a timeline. 10-15 years is just a guess. We are finishing up North America by 2023 so that leaves 5 habitable continents. If we do just two 2 years in each on average that would be 10 years. We've already been traveling 8 years full-time in North America so we don't think the estimate is unreasonable. But only time will tell. Glad to have you on the channel, appreciate the blessings. ~ Eric
Looking forward to following you from here. We have a 20 Gladiator S with painted fenders and the max tow pkg. I'm thinking that is what you have. Are you going to do any mods by lifting or tires/wheels? Very interesting. Thank you
Awesome DKC! You have a great platform to start. So our build will be much different for what I’d recommend to folks that we’re just staying in North America. For our global rig we won’t be doing any lift. And our tires will be pretty small by comparison to most of our counterparts here in the states. More on that to come in future videos. ~ Eric
Thanks caifan444! We got it back to my brother-in-law's place tonight and started packing. My wife calls it "nesting" but you know what I mean. It was really cool to just see it out of the shop and in our possession again. ~ Eric
Haha. I'm going to guess that was a measure of snark since it was pretty much just me doing voiceover? The shop was really loud with all of the builds going on while I was filming. So there was no real way of me getting any decent actual audio. Brittany was out with Caspian during the entire build while I hung out at the shop every day to get video. So it was the best I could do solo. ~ Eric
Hey guys, I just found your channel and I am catching up quickly! I love your new Gladiator build and I am excited to see it progress. I would love to see a video on the details of the Gladiator model you bought and why you chose that particular model and options.
Glad you found our channel. Now that's a solid question. We actually covered that in a previous video. If you check out our Jeep Gladiator Overland Build Overview video (the one before this one on the playlist) we actually talk about which trim we chose and why we chose it there. Check it out! ~ Eric
Thanks Chris. We're so pumped to get this vehicle out and about and make it into our new home. Though it feels really strange putting GUARDIAN (our Jeep Wrangler) that has been our home into storage. He's earned the rest. ~ Eric
As always great video. Question, will the suspension be ok with the H2O tank? And does the tank have baffles? To help stop the water from aggressively shifting??
Great questions Dave. So the answer to both of your questions is "yes." However, one of them is a qualified yes. So the water tank does have built in baffles for that very purpose. Alu-Cab has literally thought of pretty much everything. For the suspension question, it is a qualified yes because we are doing suspension last. So between now and our 4th shop in the build the answer is no. But by August the answer will be yes. The reason we are doing suspension last however, is probably the most important part of this answer for those new to overlanding (not meaning you because I don't know your experience level) but for anyone reading. The general idea is to have every mod, every piece of gear, all of our stuff, tanks completely filled and us in the vehicle, and then go and weigh it and get exact weights for the entire vehicle, and by axle. Then and only then will we build the suspension for the weight we're actually carrying and where it is stored. Having said that we'll factor in Caspian's approximate weight as he gets older too. So in short, the suspension will be built around the actual load out, and we can't do that until the build is finished. Hope that makes sense. Seriously, a thoughtful question. ~ Eric
@@HourlessLife You nailed this build, subscribed and look forward to seeing this build finished and your travels. We are considering a similar build and I might just copy you. Thanks for sharing

Build looks great! The Alucab + Goose Gear is the hot ticket for making the most use of the space you have. As a fellow Gladiator owner love seeing this coming together and looking forward to following how it all works as you put it to the test!!
Hey 305. Glad you found us. Mav is good people. As far as price range, we're still trying to tally all of that in a way that will make sense to our community. We are gear sponsored by 27 different companies so we're trying to factor in retail pricing for those interested that didn't fully apply to our build. For now we do have a list that you can look at. But we plan to do another one that has the pricing listed in the future. ~ Eric hourlesslife.com/jeep-gladiator-build-sheet-overlanding/
Hi Steven, as of now yes. We may in the future add a mini roof rack there to hold some boxes. But as of right now we don't have immediate plans to do so and the Freedom Panels come off with no issues. Hope that helps. ~ Eric
Hey Wise! Good to see you around still checking it out. Our next video is on our interior setup. That one comes out this Thursday. Hope you'll check it out. ~ Eric
Looks super nice. Glad y'all are sharing your journey with us. Keep up the great work you both do. What is the weight of the Alu-Cab. Are do you plan on having a total weight of the build once it's all completed.in a later video.
Hey Franklin. Thanks for the kind comments. The dry weight of the Alu-Cab Canopy Camper for the Gladiator is 462.9 lbs. Fully kitted out it can be just north of 550 lbs. So it is really a great use of payload capacity. As far as having the total weight? ABSOLUTELY! In the overlanding space, payload capacity, weight, and storage are high level considerations. Once the build is fully finished, and every tank is full and even the fridge is packed. We'll all three get in the vehicle and take it to a scale to get exact weight measurements. At THAT point we'll have the suspension built custom for the vehicle and the load out. ~ Eric
Glad you are here. Haven't really done any significant off-road in the Gladiator yet. But I can tell you already that for rock crawling the JKU is superior IMO. But that's not what DAUNTLESS has been built for. So for the purpose of overlanding, I'm really liking the Gladiator setup. ~ Eric
One more question: How do you plan on compensating for not being able to carry the table between the top of the Jeep and the Alu cab? Do you have a suggestion for another portable table that will fit in the Jeep. Really enjoying watching your build.
Hi Steven, so we actually carry the table inside the Canopy Camper laid down on the Goose Gear platform we've installed. It works great. Also it keeps the table clean since we store it clean. So that is an added benefit, also not a visible temptation for theft. Goose Gear is preparing a solution for this for the Gladiator though they are still a ways out on this. Be watching for it. ~ Eric
That’s incredible. Very good use of the space. Lots of comfort. Are you going to have like 360 lighting on the exterior? It sure would be good so you could see your surroundings at night
Thanks Art! As far as the lighting, we are. Rigid Industries lights are going to give us light all around the vehicle. We'll feature that in a future video. ~ Eric
Hey Mark! Good to hear from you. The build is planned out for the long haul. He may decide as a teen to ground or hammock tent. We'll cross that bridge when we come to it. Thanks for the kind words on the build. Much more to come. ~ Eric
Thanks SwnGwyrdd! We were soooo bummed about the table. BUT... a little bird told me they may have a solution for us. I can't really talk about it publicly quite yet. But we're hopeful that it won't only work well for us, but commercially for others who have a Gladiator as well with the Alu-Cab Canopy Camper. Stay tuned. ~ Eric
Love the channel and the amazing content! Did y’all consider adding the awning walls to make an enclosed tent? Seems like it be a good addition to add more outdoor living space that’s covered and protected from the elements. Would love to hear your thoughts on why you decided to forgo the awning walls. Wishing y’all safe travels and more amazing adventures and can’t wait to see more of your travels across the globe!
Hi Joseph, great question and thank you for the kind words about our channel. We have a TON of travel content that we've uploaded after our build series. We cover every country we've been in since we left the USA back in October of 2021. I hope you took a moment to subscribe and hit that bell icon to be notified when we upload. As far as the awning walls. We heavily considered it. But at the end of the day, for overlanders there are four major considerations aside from price when it comes to gear. Where is it going to live inside or on the vehicle, how much space does it take up, how much does it weigh, and how often will we use it. We opted not to get it for now. We may revisit that idea when we get to Africa though. Welcome to our channel! ~ Eric
Well that was super kind. We just started our RUclips channel at the beginning of the year. Our friend Mav posted about us on his channel and a ton more folks became aware of our journey and our family. Hopefully, more people will get to know us over the years, this will be a long journey. Appreciate you being here. ~ Eric
Hi Stephen, it is a great unit. We are really happy with our decision. The tailgate was left with Juniper Overland as we had no need for it. We had the team at Juniper flip our entrance door to the Canopy Camper. So instead of opening from left to right like it comes out of the box, ours opens from right to left. This was based on our design of the rig to have a clean and dirty side. That’s a more complex discussion which we cover in another video. We relocated the National Luna light and the backup camera. So no worries there. Totally doable if your build has a need for the rear door flip. Shoot us a followup message on Instagram if you have any follow up questions! Happy to be a resource. ~ Eric
really nice set up, I don't think those hinges on rear door can handle a 100 lb tire and wheel in an off road situation with only that aluminum substructure, don't ask me how I know...
Hey Wolf. We have an entire playlist on the build where you can look at every part of the suspension. If you go to our playlist tab you'll see it. But the specific video about our suspension can be found here, ~ Eric ruclips.net/video/8UfLH2Oz9T8/видео.html
Hey Johan! Thanks for getting in touch. It is so new that we haven’t taken it out yet. Right now we are just trying to move into it from our North American build. Once we’ve been out in it a bit I’m sure we’ll start modding it to suit our family. I’m sure I’ll have some questions for you. ~ Eric
I'm just curious, you said you will live in this tiny camper and sleep in a roof-top tent for 10-15 years?? Do you have any overlanding experience? That is a long... long time...
Pretty sure it does. We haven't had a chance to fully load it out and weigh it yet. It is on our list of things to do. We've been very careful though and started our build with a payload spreadsheet. ~ Eric
wise man once said : "If you see the car rocking, dont come knocking" hehe. But may I know your Gladiator total height from the grounf after Alu cab roof top tent installation ?
Hi Molf! Haha. Truth on that wise saying. Also I'll have to get that dimension. I was waiting until everything was completely finished in Austin, Texas sometime in August. But I do plan on giving all of the exterior dimensions, also providing the weight of our fully kitted out vehicle. ~ Eric
Love this, but can you keep all your bed sheets / pillows on the bed when the canopy is closed? or do you have to make it everyday and store the blankets and sheets and pillows?
Hey Zac. It is a Jeep Gladiator Sport S with the Max Tow Package. We got this trim because of the payload capacity. If you go to our Playlist for the Gladiator build, all of your questions will be answered. We've covered it in detail. Welcome to the channel! ~ Eric
I've seen another build, where they put a rack in front of the camper, for extra fuel and water cans. Oh and they had lights across the front of the rack.
Not a fan of a rack in front of the camper or exterior water and fuel containers on the vehicle for long-term international travel for multiple reasons. But everyone's build and needs are different. Bottom line, make the journey your own and build your rig for what you specifically need. ~ Eric
Have you considered that someone could lock the rear door from outside while you are inside? I'm not trying to be a troll, just sounded like a real concern if you're in a bad area.
Great point, and yes, that could happen. However from the inside we have several points of egress should it be an emergency. We could get out through the side wing doors. They wouldn't have the key to lock that. Or we could, push come to shove, (literally) crawl out through one of the tent windows since the tent is accessed only from inside the Canopy Camper. But if someone locks us in... we have bigger problems than figuring out how to get out.. lol. Let's hope that doesn't happen. ~ Eric
Hey Guys, another great video. I was curious because I’ve watched other AluCab build videos, did they put any type of seal between the Jeep and Cab to prevent dust or moisture from entering? If not, do you wish it was there or is it not an issue? When it gets colder do you feel that the seams will be sealed enough?
So Juniper sealed the entire Alu-Cab and they are based out of Denver where it gets pretty cold. They do a ton of Alu-Cab installs so I’m fairly confident it will perform well. But we haven’t really put it to an extensive test. Ask me in a year. We’ll always be transparent. ~ Eric
We actually thought of creating one when we were in the design phases of the build. But it wouldn't have worked with the way we have our potable water tank set up. But yeah, I don't disagree with you Daniel. ~ Eric
Haha. Busted! Yep, we are up here for a family reunion on my wife's side of the family. Tomorrow morning we head back to Denver for a night then we'll be heading towards Tucsion, AZ for the second shop in our build. Thanks for stopping by to let us know you spotted us. We just put the branding on the vehicle, so you are one of the first to see it. Hope you'll consider subscribing and following our journey. ~ Eric
Ahhhh... great question tran0317. So you caught that eh? Haha. Good eye. On the top of the Alu-Cab Canopy Camper we have two @cascadia4x4 prototype 100W solar panels. They are not available for purchase yet. Not featured in this video we also have the 80W Cascadia4x4 VSS (vehicle solar system) for the Gladiator which is available for purchase. When we do our video on our electrical system, we'll show all of that in detail. ~ Eric
Very nice, those are pretty small for 100w especially compared to the sunflare. Thank you for sharing the info! I’ll wait for your video before asking any further questions. Thanks for the videos, I actually have a canopy camper on order and planning my buildout so it’s nice to see the details you are providing. Keep up the great work!
@@tran0317 yeah, we'll see how they do. The good news is that the RedArc RedVision will tell us exactly how much we're pulling in. Since they are prototypes we'll just have to wait and see. I do like their size though. Allows us more room up top should we have to load something there. ~ Eric
Want one, but…….. here in the Netherlands the gladiator is a vehicle for 5 person, so we have to pay extra car tax called BPM, in total the price of a gladiator 5 person truck will reach $ 120.000 US dollar !!!! And then you have to buy the Alu cab with it, so the total will be ???????? Greetings from the Netherlands
Wow Guido had no idea about this. I can imagine that is pretty frustrating. For us however our Gladiator is our only home. Not sure what the house prices are in the Netherlands, but if they are anything like the USA, even at that price it would be much less than the cost of an average home. I would say if you are considering full-time then I would still keep it as a consideration. ~ Eric
Thank you. Just know that the Alu-Cab Canopy Camper has a fit kit specifically for bed size. So if you are thinking of going this route, check with their website. All the best and appreciate the comment and hope you'll stick around for the journey, ~ Eric
I assure you it is not. Don't have a picture yet, but tonight when we got it back to my brother-in-law's place, I removed the spare tire which we moved from the bottom of the vehicle to the back of the door and added the Blue Ridge Overland Gear XL Tire Bag (our trash bag) so I had a good opportunity to take a look. ~ Eric
My question is. Out of all the videos on this system no one ever mentions the price. So what's the big secret? Which is the most I important part of any purchase.
Joe, we hadn't tabulated anything at that time. We are working with 27 gear sponsors for our global journey and at the time of these videos the priority was to get the build done so we could begin the journey. I'm currently writing you from Nicaragua where our son has a bit of a fever. So we opted for an airbnb for a few days so he could get some good rest and have access to a proper bathroom. All that to say that it also allows us to have some time to put out some content. The retail cost of our build is something that many have asked us about and as I mentioned, we hadn't tabulated it. But guess what. We just did. Very soon we'll be posting that article on our website at hourlesslife.com fully broken down with all pricing. The article itself is done and we're just doing the finishing touches. So it should be up in a few days or sooner. Hope that helps. ~ Eric
@@HourlessLife Have you mounted them yet? I’m asking because I was told the traction boards are too heavy. Where did you get the mount? I’m excited to follow your build and adventure.
That is the Expedition Essentials MaxTrax mount. It’s really slick. They are heavy though so on the Alu-Cab Canopy Camper sidewing doors you simply need to upgrade the struts for weight. ~ Eric
Hey Yota, not sure what you are referring to, if you mean the fridge inside the cab, yes it does, but there are practical reasons for it which we expound upon in our Walkaround video. Check that one out when you get a chance. Our decision on that will make a lot more sense. ~ Eric
Hey Mike, we went with the gas V6. If we were just staying here in North America, we'd have gone with the diesel and we'd put larger tires on that what we'll end up with. But for global travel, the world infrastructure is not ready for ultra low sulfur diesel, and any larger tires like 35, 37, or 40+ are pretty much non-existent in much of the world and would be prohibitively expensive to ship. ~ Eric
Now that’s the question of the hour. As of today, the furthest south we could drive is Nicaragua. We know that Mexico is open. So we start in October into Mexico. We’ll be there for 6 months (full visa length) and then into Belize. We’re hopeful that by March/April of 2022 more ground borders will continue to open. Obviously we’ll follow all laws, so we are at the mercy of ground borders. ~ E
@@HourlessLife I wat supposed to start my world adventure mid last year and obviously it came to a halt. The only place we aussies can go is New Zealand.
Hello Jack. We haven't tabulated it all since we have 27 gear sponsors on this build. However we did put together a comprehensive article that may be of interest. Appreciate that Ajh. We're pretty excited about it. ~ Eric
This is outstanding. From watching other other outback videos. I would raise it 2 in Minimum. And put some bigger tires on. This way the brush and rocks will not tear up underneath your vehicle. And you can drive your vehicle to a more remote area.
Ahh Jason, you haven't finished our Overlanding Build series. Wait until you see the finished build. ~ Eric

Haha Apex, us too! We are all focused on the build between now and August. But we want it to be done too so we can start our journey! ~ Eric
(not on website yet)
BTW - I took the smaller bed platform off - just didn't figure we would need it at all.
@@TerryManitoba something light! Haha. #weightiseverything ~ Eric
@@HourlessLife I've made a few shelves and a step plate (wider platform for entry on the bumper) all out of 5/16" check plate aluminum. Rigid enough to stick out unsupported for a 16" shelf without defrecting and good for the 8" wide step platform (this made a huge difference for traction and support when climbing in/out)

Great build. Why are the hinges in ugly aluminum while the rest of the Alu cab is in nice black paint?
~ Eric
@@HourlessLife only issue to the desired lifespan will be the powers that be banning petrol and diesel... its coming unfortunately.
~ Eric
Nice set up.
Thank you Randy. The Alu-Cab Canopy Camper is pretty sweet! ~ Eric

Thanks caifan444! We got it back to my brother-in-law's place tonight and started packing. My wife calls it "nesting" but you know what I mean. It was really cool to just see it out of the shop and in our possession again. ~ Eric
Love the interaction
~ Eric
Very awesome
~ Eric

I found you guys on Mavericks channel, I love it. I want one what was the price range of start to what you got? Thanks.
~ Eric

Excellent videos! Are you able to take off the front roof of the Jeep with the Alu cab canopy camper on the Jeep?
Hi Steven, as of now yes. We may in the future add a mini roof rack there to hold some boxes. But as of right now we don't have immediate plans to do so and the Freedom Panels come off with no issues. Hope that helps.

~ Eric
Looking forward to future videos have a nice day 😊
@@therealdeal67 you too Franklin! ~ E
Great video. So glad I found your channel. How are you liking the Gladiator compared to the Wrangler when off road?
~ Eric
I can see the advantage to keeping it in the jeep. Thanks.
~ Eric
Mark Lennox here. Will this be suitable for when Caspian gets into his teens? Great looking setup my friend!
Hey Mark! Good to hear from you. The build is planned out for the long haul. He may decide as a teen to ground or hammock tent. We'll cross that bridge when we come to it. Thanks for the kind words on the build. Much more to come. ~ Eric
Very slick, shame about the table but I'm sure you'll find something useful to fit in that space instead.
~ Eric

Looking for a canopy! Ran into this and was sold. What did you do with your tail door? My concern would be my backup camera.
~ Eric
Did you mount back the back-up camera to the Alucab camper ?
Not yet chmm. We still have it, but haven't mounted it yet. We want to be on the road for a bit and figure out which location would be best. ~ Eric
really nice set up, I don't think those hinges on rear door can handle a 100 lb tire and wheel in an off road situation with only that aluminum substructure, don't ask me how I know...
I'll bite. Have you had an Alu-Cab Canopy Camper? According to Alu-Cab they can handle up to a 35 tire. We're running a 33.5. ~ Eric
if i didn't have 2 kids i would do this option! what did you have to do to the suspension to support it?
Hey Wolf. We have an entire playlist on the build where you can look at every part of the suspension. If you go to our playlist tab you'll see it. But the specific video about our suspension can be found here, ~ Eric ruclips.net/video/8UfLH2Oz9T8/видео.html

Are you going to insulate the Canopy camper?
And what about heathing?
Just a bit. We've been on the road owning no home or property since February 2014, currently on our 9th year of full-time travel. ~ Eric
Did this whole setup with gear and occupants put you over the max payload of the gladiator?

I've seen another build, where they put a rack in front of the camper, for extra fuel and water cans. Oh and they had lights across the front of the rack.
Not a fan of a rack in front of the camper or exterior water and fuel containers on the vehicle for long-term international travel for multiple reasons. But everyone's build and needs are different. Bottom line, make the journey your own and build your rig for what you specifically need. ~ Eric
Were you able to relocate the backup camera?
Yep. On the rear bumper. ~ Eric
How high does the camper stick up above the Jeeps roof? What is your overall height with camper on but closed. Thank you for posting!
Total height on DAUNTLESS is 2.28 meters David. That includes our 33.5" tires and a MOPAR 2" lift.
~ Eric
I wondered about that myself. It didn’t look like there was any sort of gasket or seal between the Alu-Cab and the Jeep bed sides.
Is the gap underneath give enough room to remove the gladiators hard top?
Hey Eric, if you are talking about the Freedom panels on the hard top , the answer is yes. ~ Eric
Nice

We actually thought of creating one when we were in the design phases of the build. But it wouldn't have worked with the way we have our potable water tank set up. But yeah, I don't disagree with you Daniel. ~ Eric

@@HourlessLife I’m curious as to the build sheet in regards to prices
I think the tire carrier is mounted side ways

~ Eric
looks like it eats a good amount of space upfront
Hey Yota, not sure what you are referring to, if you mean the fridge inside the cab, yes it does, but there are practical reasons for it which we expound upon in our Walkaround video. Check that one out when you get a chance. Our decision on that will make a lot more sense. ~ Eric

Rear camera transferred?
Yep! Relocated to the rear bumper. ~ Eric
Which Motor v6 or diesel ?
Hey Mike, we went with the gas V6. If we were just staying here in North America, we'd have gone with the diesel and we'd put larger tires on that what we'll end up with. But for global travel, the world infrastructure is not ready for ultra low sulfur diesel, and any larger tires like 35, 37, or 40+ are pretty much non-existent in much of the world and would be prohibitively expensive to ship. ~ Eric
How can you travel around the world when travel has been stopped?
Now that’s the question of the hour. As of today, the furthest south we could drive is Nicaragua. We know that Mexico is open. So we start in October into Mexico. We’ll be there for 6 months (full visa length) and then into Belize. We’re hopeful that by March/April of 2022 more ground borders will continue to open. Obviously we’ll follow all laws, so we are at the mercy of ground borders. ~ E
