Great channel. I am shopping for a new truck. In my research I have found the following: There are 3 pricing structures. 1) MSRP 2) Invoice and 3) dealer cost.. The dealers make money with the manufacturers "holdback" and if you are ordering a new vehicle, the dealer stands to make money from the manufactures "floor plan assist". I have been to 3 dealers and countered with my offer for a truck, but no luck. The dealers feel they are still in the "driver's seat" and are trying to hold the line. I would like to see a definitive video that incorporates all of these items. In addition, what is the dealer "cost" for options shown on the invoice.....is this what the dealer actually pays?
Holdback is just one form of manufacturer kickback to the dealer. There are myriad other mechanisms, like floorplan allowances, financing, etc, such that knowing *exactly* what a dealer "pays" (finances) for a new vehicle is almost impossible to know exactly. Most manufacturers have an MSRP vs invoice price on "features" as well as the base vehicle.
I need to binge. I'm in need of a car and I'm terrified of going to the dealership for fear of being taken advantage of. I really don't know anything about car buying and what to look out for. I'm a pretty simple guy...lol. Whatever the price is on the car, in my mind, that's the price of the car.

@@KevinHunter So, I could like be looking at a car here locally to buy and I tell you the car and name of the dealership and you negotiate in my favor?

Kevin just had to let you know that using your techniques I just bought a 2024 Buick Envision avenue that stickered for $48,470 and I paid 50 grand out the door thanks Tell everybody it works
Great advice! The market seems to be calming down and that has helped me a lot. Hungry sales team members are more willing to work for the deal. I have two sending me inspirational quotes each morning.
Due to health issues, I am usually online every day for some period, I always check my subscription feed and can see if I forgot an episode. I never miss a show. Hoping to need a van soon.
I cannot wait to get our new vehicle after binging your videos. I look back on the used Audi I bought like a decade ago and cringe at how stupid I was. I was a dream come true to that salesman and finance manager. They were high-fiving and laughing at my dumbass for sure.
Where on your website can I find the free email template you mentioned in the video? I have looked several times and cannot figure out where to locate it.
I am ordering a car so I can get the specifics I want and will be paying cash. I am in the process of building my credit back up (and I dont want it dinged), so I can't use the possibility of financing as leverage in the deal. I have watched all of your videos on buying with cash, and I know part of the game is to pretend you are financing, but bring out the checkbook at the last second, or go with financing and pay it off in full after. What do you do if you are paying with cash and financing is not an option? Also, do you have any advice/videos on ordering a car through the dealership? Thanks! Love your great info!
Unfortunately the market has become so contaminated that people even can not trust those who really want to help like you. Who knows, may be you are also like a dealer and trying to get people to use your services and there are may be so much hidden fees. Or, may be you are good people and not ripping off people. How can we do our homework on you?
Ok, so who's stealing content here? Mike's Car Store or you? I just watched one of his videos and the "not negotiating for groceries" and "3 separate transactions" was on his video too word for word.
Both of you consistently utilize language that sounds overly negative, which may be perceived as unprofessional by your audience. Consider the connotations of your words and rephrase them to convey a more constructive tone. For instance, instead of saying 'you complain,' say 'you seem to have a challenge.' The language you use can significantly impact how your brand is perceived, and using more thoughtful phrasing can help avoid misinterpretation.

Great advice!

We will be happy to assist you finding your vehicle.
Thanks Kevin and Liz, I am seeing how I have messed up in previous purchases and I really appreciate what you guys are doing! You Rock!!!
We're glad you're learning something new!
Right now bank and credit union has higher rates than some manufacturer’s deals they are offering.
that can be the case. However, it's still worth it to get a pre-approval and have the dealer beat it!

Let’s just say I have vengeance on my mind 😂
You're better than me RR sold it though haha!
Great stuff, you guys! I’ll put another outline into my files. Thanks again. We appreciate you both.
Thank you, kindly, Jon!
Good information Thanks

How can I find out what a fair price for a new car is? Every time I check Tru Car they want to send me to dealers before giving the price.
We can help you. You can also sign up for a membership at thehomeworkguy.com. they are very cheap!
when paying cash. when do you say you don't want gap?
That’s true, I have to search to find your videos.
We've known for a while that RUclips doesn't like us.
When you focus only on otd price won’t the dealer simply lower their offer on trade in to get their profit back up ?

Good video.
Thanks for the visit and the comment!
do you know when rates may go down to that
That was a real phone call?? Or was that a recreation of a real phone call.
That phone call to Joey sounded fake and scripted
100%
It absolutely was. Lost a lot of respect for this channel now.
I have a credit rating of over 800 can I get 0% financing with dealer?
There are rates like that coming from the manufacturers as an incentivized rate.
Great vid with valuabe info but the sound effects are distracting
Why are all of your new videos infomercials?

Hi KEVIN ,Elizabeth,I was about to hire u guys but you don't help people with bad credit ??????
If you're going to finance , you have to be able to qualify for a car loan. If you can qualify for a car loan , you can call us.
