Could you do a video on the different types of Dendrobiums and how they differ in their needs? UR awesome!😎
Great suggestion! It might take a little while for me to put it all together but for sure I can do this . Thanks for that suggestion 🫂💕
I thought this monster is a Den. chrysotoxum var. oculatum which I have 'a lot' smaller.
Dendrobiums and their keikis... a challenge of its own. I tend to remove them when they almost drop off of their own. Some are real keiki machines.
Once a well-reputed German vendor sent me a huge, loose in the pot Den. findleyanum. This was No.1. No. 2 from another vendor, 5 sep. stams in a pot. The remaining biggest one even flowered, didn't produce keikis but branches, without roots.
One of my Nobiles had a single bump with roots, the bump made a flower cluster and then the keiki grew. Many regards!
No this is without a doubt D.fimbriatum the pseudobulbs are quite different to the chrysotoxum and the flowers have the distinct 'frill' on the edge of the lip .
and yes 💯 dendrobiums can keep us on our toes with their keiki production 🤣
I love findleyanum just for the shape of their pseudobulbs and sometimes the 'branches' need to be removed before they start to produce roots and in the rare occasion it struggles to a little keiki paste gives it the boost .
It is wonderful to have another Den fanatic here .. 🫂💕
thanks for sharing
I would love to see a repotting video..... One of my Dendrobiums needs to be repotted so that would be a great help...... Now I can remove all it's kieki's.......... Does it matter what wood you use to attach them too?
repotting video coming soon , just finished filming lol , use a wood with a rough bark that is not going to decompose too quickly 👍
❤👍
thank you 🫂💕
Show us the repot❤❤
I will soon
Can you please do a video on how to propogate your Hoya......
yes we could absolutely do something like that for you 💯
Die Schnittstellen müssen Desinviziert werde das ist sehr Wichtig
Ja, deshalb verwende ich Zimt. Es versiegelt die Wunde hervorragend und hält Infektionen fern. 👍💯
Show us the repot
thanks for the vote 👍
Thankyou Don't water, even if u put it on a tree ?
you are trying to make the keiki look for water , this makes it set roots . But you must still be watching it depending on your environment . If the canes start to shrivel then of course you have to start watering 👍
The easiest quickest way to multiply up your orchid
💯 without a doubt
Good heavens!! I hope, some day, I end up with a problem like that.😂😂❤👍🤗💯🪴🫣
Hahaha believe me it will come 😘 Just a matter of time . Dendrobiums love to share 😁🫂💕
