Consider putting the orchids in an angle, so water can drain out of the center leaves when it rains (and avoid crown rot)

Looks like my phalaenopsis pulchra mount, but I used hob filter material to keep the roots together 😅

Make sure that the nails and screws you use are not cadmium coated, I used staples and a staple gun , it killed the tree.

We don't have to Winterize in our hardiness zone. We're located at the 9a, 10b border. We do get freezes but they are brief and have no effect on orchids.

I do. They are in the bromeliad family and therefore are like the air plant.
