I was all kind of lost when I filled this video. Could not remember which month it was or the state I was in. Sorry Spartanburg. But I did get it right at the end. A beautiful city😃
Love my town of Spartanburg and how it has grown. Amazing places to hear music and eat delicious food and drink good brews. Free parking! Beautiful art! Lots of events. Definitely a city that cares. Lots of growth coming soon so come back and visit in a few years. Just announced this week they will be building a brand new baseball stadium in downtown for the Texas Rangers minor league team to play as soon as 2025 season. 🎉
Kress is literally everywhere I love spotting them in my travels all are the same company. I’m glad you are doing NC and SC because I have connections to both and I’m currently selling my house and looking for a new home so I’m watching all of your videos. Preferably in SC but close enough to Charlotte is where I hope to be.
Some trivia about Spartanburg. It has one of the oldest law firms in the US, est 1825. It has what is thought to be one of largest cemetery statues in the US, the Wonder of Life monument, it is where the first college football game in SC was played, where the words of the song Amazing Grace were set to music, the British band Pink Floyd got the Pink part of their name from a Spartanburg musician. Martin Luther King’s uncle was one pastor of a church in Spartanburg.
@@TimothyFrench Greenville doesn't tolerate the homeless downtown, they ship them over to Spartanburg. Feel bad for the people but it damages the image when there are people passed out in every garage, pan handling at Morgan Square, sleeping on every park bench, and generally swarming every public area in downtown Spartanburg. We avoid it now, they ruined it. The city is incompetent in their attempts at clearing them out so people can enjoy the downtown area.

I loved my first visit to your hometown. And it will not be my last.
That appears to be a well kept town. Thanks for the tour.
You’re welcome, Terry.
You should see the outskirts. Absolute trash.
@@ToddWyattRebelSon there are some very nice subdivisions on the outskirts.
@richardcribb9226 Thanks 👍
@@richardcribb9226 Yeah I know, I live there. Absolute trash all around the nice ones too though & when I say trash I mean actual trash.

Thanks for sharing. Spartanburg definitely has a rich history 👍
Don't forget about Marshall Tucker Band.
@ToddWyattRebelSon awesome band.👍
I see those same homeless dudes at 12:54 every time.
It is a shame. Help is out there if they would just seek it.
Greenville is in much better shape than Spartanburg.
I agree. Greenville has a finished look to their down center. But Spartanburg is getting there.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts 👍

Is there racism?
Sorry, I’m not from there, so I am unable to answer your question.
Таке відчуття ,що тут немає життя!Від цього дуже сумно!
That's what most people see.
It's like Greenville, just not as good.
That means it's not alike then.
