My guess is that this was a recording of how skulk first entered the world, through the portals in the ancient cities. Something about the uncertain silence right before the first skulk sensor noise gives me a "what the hell is this thing?" vibe, right before it goes off -- the first skulk sensor in the overworld -- unleashing the warden and allowing skulk to spread into the world.
@@jeremiahrosa1329 Like us entering the portal to the other dimension. Maybe the warden is just a servant of a bigger stronger boss in another dimension.
this is a very good theory but just to add something to your comment I think the skulks are slowly going to start to possess the overworld (or at least in the lore) and it's going to summon a new hole even more terrifying boss then the Warden.
I think that there's an exiled player sneaking through the underground cities(this is indicated by the armor clanks earlier in the disc), he then finds the portal and opens it to a new dimension where he finds the warden and the skulk starts to infect the overworld that's why the deep dark have tons of skulk stuff in it
the music disk is most probably a recording of what happened to the ancient cities. you could tell that when the shrieker activated and the warden spawns there was a sound of a power outage which would explain what happened to those laboratories in the ancient cities. and the fact that the music disk is found in fragments would also show the fact that it was supposedly destroyed by the warden. this has some major lore potential. A entity from the dimension that the portal linked to 2. The corrupted guardian of the cities portal 3. A combination of all the souls lost in the city forming that creature
listening to the disc myself I think I can understand the story pretty clearly but it basically goes. someone is wandering around a cave and find a strange structure/portal and decide to light it. upon going through they find themself in a strange place and start towering or building something from stone and dirt. but then a warden hears the placeing and roars. the person then has a flashback to something calming or peaceful before coming back to the realization of the danger they're in the rest is them trying to run away and instead set off more shriekers annd sculk sensors eventually leading to something happening and fireworks going off is the last thing you hear.
I think there are some wrong in here, first, how do you put a calming music while having a flashback, second there's fireworks?, And third, what kind of portal that leads to the ancient city or a place where there are some sculks and those screaming things, couldnt be the nether portal, my guess is that he was in the nether and found like a finished nether portal and decided to light it, and ended up in the ancient city or a place where there are a bunch of skulks, and about the flashback music on the disc, i still don't know how they added the music with some guy wondering around the place

If you play disc 11 and disc 5 at the exact same time. When disc 11 stops, it seems like disc 5 is a continuation of disc 11. The sound is so alike, and the music from disc 5 even stops right when disc 11 stops.
I think I have an explanation to the musical part, Since these are disc fragments those must be from different disc recordings, the musical piano part is from another disc, And the whole portal story has more evidence to it, since in the part where Steve supposedly "lit up" the "portal" it made an activation sound just like an end portal, and the last part where he was "killed" by the Warden, he might have been pushed back into the portal and back to the ancient city.
I think the heavy clanging heard at 0:48 is saying that steve is being held captive in an Ancient city using the balls on chains, by the inhabitants of said city. What's Wither doing in the Ancient City? I knew Wither's immune to Warden but it's SUS that it's not spawned by Steve. Also maybe being an Elder Wither, it's like Elder Guardian.
At first I was like “all that for another scary one?!” but when I got those local 58-esque analog horror vibes it’s actually a lot more of the suspense type of scary than the increase-your-bp scary so I will be motivated to play this more often than the existing scary ones
Maybe that sums this up. Remember when a dev said “y’all thought it was something mysterious, but it’s just a long-winded mongis”? Maybe what he meant is that it’s an amogus dimension, and that’s why it says sus. And also sums up the lore that that thing is a portal.
This disc just made me wonder even more who lived in the ancient city and how did the warden get there? How long have they been gone? Did they move to the surface to escape the warden and then that's where the villagers and villages are from? I have so many questions...

When we hear disc 5, we notice that the character is walking inside caves towards the ancient cities and trying to open a portal, but he encounters the warden and tries to escape from him through the portal .... and here begins the story of disc 11 inside the portal
@@javenmod that doesn't mean anything, I'd say the Warden probably realistically always been there or has for a long time considering the cities are fully corrupted

Loving all the new disks they’ve been adding, my only hope is that they get C4-18 back on to make music for a new disk for whatever dimension will be added.
It makes sense the disc you find in the deep dark would be shattered, once the skulk had shown up there the residents would've wanted to avoid all noise, especially music discs though I guess the resulting disc being of what happens when you make noise would probably make it more feasable the disc might've been destroyed as the holder was crushed by the warden
I really hope that they add more unique rewards to the deep dark cities, cause yes the music disc is cool, but honestly let’s admit it, players aren’t gonna risk going through the deep dark multiple times in different runs just to get a music disc. Like unless they put like some maybe enchanted diamond gear that doesn’t have curses on it unlike the ones in the end cities, or something similarly rewarding, then it isn’t going to give enough incentive for many players to go there often
Here's a really weird, educational and disturbing thought that sent a wave on my brain. Warning: I am a Math Nerd, so every is pretty technical, but it's pretty sure by the end of this explanation, you'll be pretty much set by the way that Mojang names creepy disks. The Disk 12 and 24 theories are crumbling apart due to 5, 11 and 13 having an interesting commonality: being a prime number. What's a prime number? Prime numbers are nunbers where in the numbers that are divisible to it are 1 and to itself. 69 isn't a prime because 23 x 3, but 67 is. Every prime number music disc thus far is creepy. 5, 11 and 13. Added together, it equals 29. 29 also being a prime number, so meaning a disc 29 theory might be brewing up sooner or later. Another interesting thing that relates to primes, is that if you (5 + 11) - 13, you get 3. Why is it interesting? Because 3 is also prime. Yalls see what I'm seeing? Mojang might have it's next numbered disc called 17. 17 is an unlucky number in Italy, so it might be even more jarring for Italian players. The next probability is Disk 3 or 2, since 2 + 3 = 5. For 7, well, it's prime, yes, but it's a bit different because in many parts of he world, 7 is a lucky number. But how creepy would that be in a Minecraft disk? Could range from Steve escaping Death or... Steve gets plunged into said death.
okay, all jokes aside, here's my speculation for disc 5 judging by the endersent sound 35 seconds into the track (endersent are from minecraft dungeons) and the broken heart of ender chimes + endermite sounds, this gives me a huge feeling that 1.20 will be the end update, adding things from the echoing void DLC to minecraft's canon, or that the warden is heavily related to the end in some way shape or form. i dunno what this disc actually /does/ mean, but for all i know it'll be pretty big for the game's lore overall
I love how Steve is somehow underground near an ancient city with only a flint and steel but somehow got up to the portal and lit it Then blocked himself with stone when he only has a flint and steel
i think he mined through the stone and put it in a furnace then he started mining again till his pickaxe broke at that time he reached dat city (just a theory)
Imagine if Minecraft had a built-in storyline you could follow/complete. Finding the origin of the ancient cities and maybe learning you can "help" the Warden would be interesting. (I'm pulling ideas from RetroGaming's deepdive and Alan Becker's Animation vs Minecraft lol)
The story line i think the disc follows Steve walking around the city * heavy footsteps can be heard * He then hides as the footsteps fade away He has found the Center but a Warden emerged from besides He sneaks to some lava and places an amethyst Block to distract the Warden He then Lights the portal up in some way He builds up but the Warden has heard him, He threw a sonic boom at him knocking Steve into his demise as the disc Falls from height the portal fading can be heard and after a short while the disc shatters the Warden then collects the pieces an puts them in the storage compartments after that dissolving into skulk satisfied with prey. My concept
Ik you probably won't see this since this was 2 years ago. But if you take a jukebox, take the discs, 5, 11, and 13. Then count to 5 and put Disc 5 Then keep counting till you get to 11, and put disc 11 Then keep counting till you get to 13, and put disc 13. It tells an entire story. I don't rlly know how to explain this very well, so it may not may not make sense
I think the steve was came from the past when the ancient city still being glorious, i mean, its like atlantis. except they were developing a portal that lead to the future. Steve became the first human there for experiment to went the portal. He brought his flint & steel (to lit the portal) and netherite armor. When he came in there is interval where steve was like in fourth dimension (interstellar reference) and the he successfully go through the portal and go to the future and then he realize he jump to far so he only saw the ruins of the ancient city, the portal was broken and looks infected by skulk block (sort of), he came down from the portal and accidentally create sound that trigger the sculk block and he got caught by the warden, he successfully escape with leaving broken netherite armor behind.
The disc pieces might not even be a part of one disc, after all it's scattered in the remains of an ancient city The way it sounds so different in each part is really obvious. Disc 11 and the warden part of this disc might've been recorded by the same person, and the part with the music must be a piece from a different music disc
It would make sense that it's parts of different discs put together. Cool idea: What if these are different recordings of when the ancient city got overtaken by the sculk?
I see no message. All I can gather is that the clanking at the beginning sounds like a army of sorts marching. I also hear no sleeping dragon. What I do hear is a portal activating, and on the other side it kinda sounds like what I would expect the Aether to sound like. That’s it, I’m calling it here, 1.20, The AETHER Update. There I said it. As for the obvious power failure noises, maybe that and the redstone circuits below are a clue as to how to activate this darn thing. Who knows.
I guess that the warden stepped on it after killing the adventurer so it was in fragments, and they stored them in different chests so other adventurers would have a harder time creating noise for the skulk and among the way, you pieced them incorrectly, so the music is just the last part of what the actual disc was before the adventurer died and it stopped recording

That would be pretty sus ngl
What was the easter egg at the end of the video?
That’s where the amogus fossil came from
@@Zoraork7 If you look closely it says sus

This disc just made me wonder even more who lived in the ancient city and how did the warden get there? How long have they been gone? Did they move to the surface to escape the warden and then that's where the villagers and villages are from? I have so many questions...
2:11 - I like how there's a tini tiny moment of silence after steve triggers the sculk sensor as if he realizes he has made a terrible mistake... Its like that one meme...
*It was this moment that he knew... he f##**#ed** up*
*You have alerted the horde.*
As for my theory, I think that disc 5 comes before disc 11. When we hear disc 5, we notice that the character is walking inside caves towards the ancient cities and trying to open a portal, but he encounters the warden and tries to escape from him through the portal .... and here begins the story of disc 11 inside the portal
And remember that the warden was inspired by disc 11
And also it explain why it is *broken* maybe there was something on the other side of the portal
i just remembered aren't there giant fossils in minecraft that could be whats inside the portal?
@@javenmod that doesn't mean anything, I'd say the Warden probably realistically always been there or has for a long time considering the cities are fully corrupted
I love how every creepy music disc has to do with Steve. It makes me wonder why Steve is such a popular thing with the discs..
Steve is the main character in the game even in the first version
Steve is the last of his kind, there are probably other races like Alex's?Alexes ? (kinda forgot how that works) and the villagers but the wierd thing is that Steve is the oldest guy in Minecraft even before since he was from Notch's? Notches? (did it again) other game. Steve could potentialy hold a large secret on who and what he is.
@@SteveMc2425 like in the legacy console edition and even old versions of pocket edition and in the forgotten versions like the Nintendo 3ds and wii u versions, Steve is waiting for you to play again...
It’s important to note that many of these sounds are from Minecraft dungeons. Also, if you play disk 5 and 13 it lines up perfectly.
Watch MatPat and every other Minecraft lore channel make a hundred videos on this new disc.
I wonder if the reason why it sounds so weird is because it is a bunch of different fragments of different recordings all merged together, since it is crafted from fragments
Idk why I didn't realise that before now..
now, who recorded these sounds? Did they have a walkman vinyl recorder or what?
@@therealsourc3 yeah like, who the hell put a recording disc in when there was än angry Warden? 😂

Loving all the new disks they’ve been adding, my only hope is that they get C4-18 back on to make music for a new disk for whatever dimension will be added.
I swear around 2:34 I heard some backward whispering. It's just VERY faint.
1:06 endersent sound...in this disc we aren't in the deep dark, we are in the end
I really hope that they add more unique rewards to the deep dark cities, cause yes the music disc is cool, but honestly let’s admit it, players aren’t gonna risk going through the deep dark multiple times in different runs just to get a music disc. Like unless they put like some maybe enchanted diamond gear that doesn’t have curses on it unlike the ones in the end cities, or something similarly rewarding, then it isn’t going to give enough incentive for many players to go there often
you could go to for the thrill
Steve gets plunged into said death.
what

The idea of the Among Us portal makes so much sense now -_-
the skulk sensor sound was so terrifying
okay, all jokes aside, here's my speculation for disc 5
judging by the endersent sound 35 seconds into the track (endersent are from minecraft dungeons) and the broken heart of ender chimes + endermite sounds, this gives me a huge feeling that 1.20 will be the end update, adding things from the echoing void DLC to minecraft's canon, or that the warden is heavily related to the end in some way shape or form. i dunno what this disc actually /does/ mean, but for all i know it'll be pretty big for the game's lore overall

I love how Steve is somehow underground near an ancient city with only a flint and steel but somehow got up to the portal and lit it
Then blocked himself with stone when he only has a flint and steel
i think he mined through the stone and put it in a furnace then he started mining again till his pickaxe broke at that time he reached dat city (just a theory)
Minecraft shows that theres a lot of things walking among us
Great video
Can't wait to see axolotl plushie
2:27 looks like ghast probably 😄
Imagine if Minecraft had a built-in storyline you could follow/complete. Finding the origin of the ancient cities and maybe learning you can "help" the Warden would be interesting. (I'm pulling ideas from RetroGaming's deepdive and Alan Becker's Animation vs Minecraft lol)
maybe in a very far away update we could understand the story behind and why the reason the credits are like that
3:15 if you dont get why it says SUbScribe look at the bold letter (bold means big) and if you look at 3:13 it says sus
1:15 THE FIRST PART OF THAT US FROM MARISA IN THE OFFICIAL MINECRAFT VIDEOS
Based on the secret message in the spectogram, I can confidently say that the portal takes us to the Amogus dimension.
modders we are waiting
The story line i think the disc follows
Steve walking around the city
* heavy footsteps can be heard *
He then hides as the footsteps fade away
He has found the Center but a Warden emerged from besides
He sneaks to some lava and places an amethyst Block to distract the Warden
He then Lights the portal up in some way
He builds up but the Warden has heard him, He threw a sonic boom at him knocking Steve into his demise as the disc Falls from height the portal fading can be heard and after a short while the disc shatters the Warden then collects the pieces an puts them in the storage compartments after that dissolving into skulk satisfied with prey.
My concept
Ik you probably won't see this since this was 2 years ago.
But if you take a jukebox, take the discs, 5, 11, and 13.
Then count to 5 and put Disc 5
Then keep counting till you get to 11, and put disc 11
Then keep counting till you get to 13, and put disc 13.
I love this theory
Gonna take this to my Note ;^)
The disc pieces might not even be a part of one disc, after all it's scattered in the remains of an ancient city
The way it sounds so different in each part is really obvious.
Disc 11 and the warden part of this disc might've been recorded by the same person, and the part with the music must be a piece from a different music disc
I like this theory
It would make sense that it's parts of different discs put together. Cool idea: What if these are different recordings of when the ancient city got overtaken by the sculk?
1:50 he went to the backrooms
every disc with a number is always some criptic shit
So the conclusion is:
Steve loves to wander in the caves bringing flint and steel and he always end up being chased
Who knows.
It was SUS
That's an interesting and cool new concept I love it!
