    Crotch removal! This is a major area of concern with the Ichi-fan-eee, I think the juniper at 8mins would benefit from a change in angle, the apex jin could be the right hand branch

    Caz is wonderful. Our club is comparatively boring.

    Is it not mainly a usefull thing to leave the berries on to a fully developed healthy bonsai? To take some of its energy in a natural way?
    If it is tressed and "producing the berries in beliefe it might die*" then it is another thing. I'm not saying that trees think, just that evolution has evoled those to react to things too.

      Thank you for your comment. With regard to creating bonsai removing the berries just gives allows the energy to go into the foliage to make them greener and fuller. Leaving them on doesn’t kill it but by removing them you are stacking everything in its favour.
