@@TheAray6 The defendants definately would not sue normally. Get this: there was no lease for over a year, which means there was no evidence of how long the plaintiff lived there. The only reason as to why JJ was able to make a ruling including November, was because she got the plaintiff to admit to moving out late. If the plaintiff was slightly smarter, at the very least the November rent would be gone forever. Meaning, the defendants would at most be able to get the $1600 for October, and be forced to return the $1300 (minus the $283 for cleaning). $1600 - ($1300 - $285) = $585. I wonder if she used the, " but I'm a single mother" defense?😅
I LOVE LOVE LOVE when plaintiffs lose a case haha. They sue someone thinking they're the victims but they don't realize how much the defendants have to put up with them, so now the defendants get justice.
What an attitude. "I'm a single mother of 2 children". So what, that doesn't mean you get to live rent free. They're your kids, pay for them. This woman/child has never grown up.
here it is! part two....
I literally expected Judge Judy to say to the plaintiff after observing her dramatics _"this is not an audition, and I already have the job"_ or _"there's only one attitude here, and that's mine"_ either way the plaintiff got schooled by JJ!😇
Ah good....Part 2....
Confirmed, the daughter is an entitled nightmare, and gobby with it.....😀
I can’t imagine being her kids. She’s got so much attitude that I wouldn’t want to grow up in that household.
Single mother who can go buy smokes but not a battery🥴
Well in her defense, it was probably a 9 volt ! You know. Not “normal” !
@@tonyhoward7004 it may have been a hardwired smoke detector. We have those. She just wasn’t capable of explaining it.
That was awesome i am so happy to see that women put in her place
whei whei...I am a single mother and it is not my fault.... just entitled......
Imagine suing someone because you have a perpetual victim mentality.
Ugh! I’m a single parent of two kids…. Ummm my bills are paid and I do what I need to to provide for them. They are my responsibility. Period.
Obliviously not aware of JJ opinions on women who make babies they can’t afford if she thinks “I’m a single mother of two kids” is the answer to why didn’t you pay rent.
You don't pay rent for two months and its an unfair evication? What a clown.
I can see why she's a single mother...
ME too
im a single father of 2, work 50 hrs a week, pay daycare, rent, everything and still have plenty of food,. Women and their excuses!
Plaintiff: Imma sue them landlords n' gonna git rich coz i got no money to pay the rent coz im a single mom and that is enough.
Seems logical to me.
Logic: NOPE
My mother was a single mother when I was young (father passed away). Never once did she ever use “I’m a single mother”
Being a single parent is not a disability. When I got pregnant, I was at a low paying job I got no child support yet I paid rent and never was evicted for nonpayment.
The plaintiff's smirk at 00:01 tells me everything I need to know about her.
What I think JJ read here was that the plaintiff wanted to do a long dramatic scene on national tv and JJ absolutely shut it down. The plaintiff did not so much want money as to do some kind of audition. She had desperate LA actress written all over her face.
What’s with the plaintiff’s twitch @1:48😂. Layoff the cigarettes and the funny cigarettes too!
they didn't pay the rent and came to complain 😂 the attitude of a “single mother” is ridiculous 😆
The plaintiff can't stay still of how entitled she feels.
1:20 When i was dating i use to always be the one replacing the batteries in those smoke alarms or replacing the smoke alarm all together. For some odd reason many single women I came across failed to notice that annoying chirp every 30 seconds, like their brain automatically tuned out the noise.
The entitlement is unreal, a single mother of 2 is no excuse to not pay your bills then try suing for wrongful eviction when you owe money. 🤦♂
It's just pure laziness.
Plaintiff is annoying af.
What an entitled Karen and the mother that enabled her. I don't think she will ever understand that she can't do whatever it is that she wants. As a single mother who already made some bad choices, she's got a lot of reality coming her way.
No wonder she's "single" 🙄
“We were financially-“
Judge Judy : 🗣️ IM SPEAKING! 😡
I feel so bad for those two kids…
I’m so glad JJ ruled like that. That woman’s attitude was ridiculous and it amazes me how some people has the audacity to take someone to court knowing they owe them money 💰
I'm so tired of people using the single mother shtick. Keep your legs closed if you can't keep a job long enough to support yourself and a child..
The daughter was a trailblazer for all Karens!
The plaintiff easily takes the cake for the most annoying plaintiff of 2023 so far.
I’M SPEAKING!!! 😂😂😂
1:17 Who smokes? plaintiff I do… oh but she is claiming poverty… and does not have enough money to pay her financial obligations?!?
She took them to court and lost now she has to pay lol
Amazing how fast that “single mother’s” true colors showed
California law states that after 1 year, the landlord(s) must give a 60 day notice, not 30 days.
Single mom even has the entitled head Bob going when told to be quiet by JJ
Why does her head keep bombing like a bird lol
Wow. That daughter sure has attitude. Her face contortions are going to make her age quickly.
no the meth will
@@michelleMYHELL5244 Goof point. Maybe already has.
The body language of the plaintiff is ridiculous. What a pampered little Karen. I feel bad for her kids...
Hate how nowadays people use their children as excuses. Am a single mother... Then why did you get pregnant in first place? Use protection!!!
Is the plaintiff high or what??
I love when the plaintiff ends up owing. Should have left well enough alone
Homegirl is RIPPED 😂
"..get an ABNORMAL battery.." 😂😂😂
How do you come to court KNOWING you DIDN'T pay YOUR RENT.... and EXPECT Judge Judy to give YOU money????
“I’m a single mother” said like she’s a victim who was incapable of making her own choices. I’d be willing to bet that she’s living off of child support.
Im glad the plaintiff has to pay. Her attitude is definitely the reason why she's a single mother. How are you grown behaving like you're in front of a highschool principal for skipping class.
Love the self-entitlement here. "We were having financial issues." lol Your problem.
