Thanks for another informative tutorial, and willingness to help. How did you have to re-set the timing after this, scan tool, rotate IP? I notice you said it’s set a lil aggressive at -1.6..
Great info, thank you Leroy! Yes the varied spacing on the fan blades is a great benefit for access. It was designed to reduce noise/vibration by creating different/countering frequencies rather then all on the same frequency.
I am looking to do a custom trans setup with a standalone tcm. I am going to need a 24x reluctor wheel. on the db4 wheel I see the inside has a lip. does the lip pus into anything or is it just exposed? my idea would be to cnc cut a new reluctor wheel that will have 24x on the inside, and the 4x on the outside. then modify the housing to put another sensor on the opposite side inside more to pick up the 24x signal.

That makes sense. Thanks for the info.
@@leroydiesel6.5 You're welcome, after 44 years of being a body/frame/paint tech in collision repair I've learned a few things.
Busting nuts and tiny wrenches. Got a laugh at that.

Hi I have a 6.2 diesel short block and spinning it by hand is TIGHT like I have to use my breaker bar maybe it’ll loosen up?
You should not be able to spin it by hand. The friction of the rings require a bleaker bar.
@@leroydiesel6.5 figured it out haha i put a regular main cap on a thrust bearing
