Three Footed Mug - Throwing and Altering Demo

Here is a simple throwing and altering demo. An easy body with alteration to cut feet and add a slab bottom that creates a fun and expressive mug. This video includes tips on cutting and attaching, handling clay pieces and design.
Once you‘ve seen it, make it your own by trying out different body shapes and sizes. Go for different arch sizes and number of feet. You can do the roll over of the bottom slab or make it a clean cut and smooth it to unnoticeable. Also think about how you plan to glaze it, cause that can change how you design and decorate it. Make it sassy!

I love altering thrown pots. It is the best of both worlds. A great way to take a thrown pot and make it uniquely yours. Good luck with your clay endeavors.
