For all those who live in our hearts - and we who miss them so. This is from" "The Very Best of Cleo Laine Vol 2" - Cleo Laine sings and James Galway plays flute
I was first introduced to Cleo by my voice teacher back in the 70s -- bought two tickets and saw both James Galaway and Cleo Laine took my mom to see them at the Opera house and I was in love with her ever since! This does bring back memories -- I was totally impressed she could hit those high notes and a wonderful scant singer! I remember the Song Bird like it was yesterday Thanks for the post.
If I remember correctly, Cleo sang this on stage the day John Dankworth died. Also, this tune was played in the background of at least one episode of Monarch of the Glen.
