They do it every so often to taunt you into watching the rest of the series. Although if you search a decade back, they have a lot of full dubs on this channel from their Funimation days.
Yes, but there's a major issue in that the majority of the season consists of a single case with terribly slow pacing. I'm hoping Season 2 doesn't have that problem.

This dub is pitch perfect to the original Japanese. Especially the voice for Kotoko, I might like this voice more.
And we all forgot that the blonde girl’s voice actress is also Yanfei from Genshin impact ☺️
