Did you know that in December, she hit #7 Billboard's Next Big Sound??? It's amazing. This was for her newest single "Love You Still" She's been in the business for 10 years now and she's re-branding herself. But I think you still have to do a few of her older performances because there's so much amazing stuff there too.

Every time I listen to your videos, I'm amazed at how your mouth just falls with her awesomeness. She truly is gifted. I think with Mori, she is more the trip and not the destination, her voice just pulls you along to the point where we just smile with all Mori is capable of. From her runs to her sustained notes, her 'whistle' and other elements the listener just gets pulled in. It takes a person like you, who can 'still' collect their thoughts and give an analysis that makes watching and listening to you an enjoyable and informative experience. I think you wear those glasses, so we can't see you tear up when she hits those notes and so we can't tell how much you love this woman (which we all do).
Never get tired of hearing the voice of the queen. She is truly an angel from above. Thank you for loving her. Peace!
There are so many songs: Defying Gravity, She Used to be Mine, Love You Still, Ain’t Been Done, I am Telling You (Cebu concert) just to name a few. But truthfully anything that comes out of her mouth is magic.

Morissette Amon possess one of the most incredible voices I have ever heard - and I grew up in a generation that included Donna Summer, Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey. I don’t think there’s a soul alive that doesn’t regard at least one of them amongst the greatest female voices of all time.
It was near the end of 2020 when one of my followers on Twitter recommended that I listen to a Filipina singer named Morissette. They were even kind enough to leave a link to the video! As I watched her performance in amazement, I started to run out of adjectives to describe what I was hearing and seeing. Morissette quite literally took my breath away.
After her performance I honestly felt the need to take a moment to compose myself. I had an episode to finish after-all but I knew that I had just witnessed something extraordinary.
That’s when the question started to enter my mind. How can a video have over 30 million views and yet be something that I’ve never heard of?? I mean, this is what I do!
So, I ventured deeper and deeper down the rabbit hole and learned a few things. She has many videos and performances that have gone ultra viral including studio versions and original material. She’s highly revered in the Philippines along with other icons like Arnel Pineda (Journey), Marcelito Pomoy and boxer/senator Manny Pacquiao. In fact, she’s loved throughout Asia and is even referred to as Asia’s Phoenix.
It’s that last part that really got me thinking. Why aren’t western audiences being exposed to a generational talent like Mori? I don’t have the answers but I know that I can at least do my part and maybe, just possibly, someone who is reading this hasn’t heard of her before. Why? Because my hope is that they will seek out her performances and music just like I did and will become as huge fan - just like I am.

I think in the past I saw her do a medley of rock music in one of her concerts. The quality of the video may have not been good cause it was taken by a fan, but you might like it.

Very true I met Morissette in Dubai as a fan she made the whole trip to see her so special. Taking selfies with us and doing the whistle note live everyone was out of their seats. Live that voice is even more powerful. She is phenomenal ! ❤️ After the show Morissette was doing meet and greet what a beautiful; humble and funny person her personality is so bubble she just makes you feel so warm her laugh is so contagious ❤️

In a reaction video of Adonis Tabanda, Musical Director and guitarist on that performance, he said that they were not able to practice but only soundcheck because there were lots of performers that time and the schedule is tight. Morissette never fails. You are right, Morissette is different and special, she’s the instrument itself, I mean her voice. And no sugar coating, she sings naturally, there’s no such thing as difficult for her when she’s engaged into telling the story of the song.
