This is simple and a little different from what most people say about posing. What is the feel you are going for? Masculine? Feminine?? Shy? Putting it this way makes it easier to pose. Cause you have a clear objective to look towards. Body language and the message being conveyed Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice
But he still says "plus size model", as if there was a normal size. That should be enough to have him cancelled?! Also that stuff about sitting up straight. That sounds a bit conservative! And the whole idea of pretending one pose is "better" than another. Horrible.
My guy Pye!! Again this is what I like. The posing isn’t hard but the masculine, feminine, and couples sequencing and structure has been a challenge. Love the chair. Laying down or floor work has been a recent challenge
Thank you ever so much. Nice explanation, lots of tips just in one lesson. I hope one day you'll also cover some basic approaches to full-length shooting a slim person vs. a plus-size model and ways co conceal some bodies' imperfection.
Your videos are awesome, but when I compare them with other videos on RUclips your videos volume level is very low. If you can fix that it is more awesome. Thank you for your wonderful videos. STAY SAFE & HAPPY NEW YEAR
Pye, thanks for another excellent tutorial video! I am about to redo and improve on a portrait of our two sons together that a "professional" did several years ago when they were in grade school. I plan to add separate portrait panels to the panel of the two of them. They are now in college and it will be a Christmas gift for my wife. These tips are going to help make it even better! Can't wait to get shooting. 👍📸
She's gorgeous, one of the most beautiful models you ever had in your videos, and she sure knows her business, she instantly knows what you are talking about Cool video
Nice tutorial Pye, I like how you explain stuff. It could do without all the "pc" excuses and explanations. I know people over there in the USA are getting more and more offended by anything and everything and everybody tries to be as "pc" as possible, but honestly, I find it strange that you feel like you have to do that in a posing tutorial.
Someone has to be offended by every little thing these days, and that diminshes and kills the fun and reality in the mesage one has to convey, fucking just say what you want without meaning no harm and don't get distracted by trying to please everyone, cause we can never please everyone.
Oh, oh. It’s now forbidden to talk about genders. RUclips may censor this video, and you’d be definitely banned from Tweeter. 😹😹😹 By the way, I like your taste of music very much.
Trying not to offend the sensitive crowd but still offends massively by using words and statements like "plus size", "sitting up straight", "big thighs", "this is better", etc. Please respect my right never to hear anything I don't like or agree with.

Wonderful, thank you so much!
Pye, your video is dope. I watched one and I'm yearning for more. I just love the flow, thank you.
Thank you for pointing out people of either sex can strike masculine or feminine poses.

Thanks for sharing, this is just what I need it, can you please teach me how to do more the 2 people as well. Thanks
Awesome tips and instructional. My only suggestion is for slightly lower background levels in the music as it competed with your voice.
Agreed.
My guy Pye!! Again this is what I like. The posing isn’t hard but the masculine, feminine, and couples sequencing and structure has been a challenge. Love the chair. Laying down or floor work has been a recent challenge

Thanks Pye. Another great tip video.
Fantastic video - great for student use!
You are the master. Thanks for sharing. Side note: music is so loud that it's quite distracting.
Great job keeping it neutral!!!! I love your work
Question at end on back drop.. is it the back drop creating that circular motion behind her?
Do you need a larger depth of field and a medium telephoto lens to minimize distortion?

hahaha loved how you tried so hard to not offend anybody, when your message is quite clear without any of your clarifications
What kind of stool is that and where can I get it?
Your model is beautiful so whatever pose she made eventhough "mistaken" pose still looks good.. 😁 maybe next time try with common people non-model?
Super

She's a pretty smile😘
Pye you seem to love shoot through umbrellas alot, why is that?
Shalom!!!
Good information, may I suggest that I found the music is too loud for your voice level and becomes distracting
Directing people is the hardest part of photography for me
please lower the music
Incredzzzzz
