I have the exact model among my 8 Vostoks. I've modded this one, replaced the bezel with a traditional black diving bezel, and added a NATO strap. It's easily one of my favorites in my entire watch collection, along with the teal scuba dude model ref 420059.
2:40 The front panel may be two-way, but this is also part of the cost-effective design. Its design is cheaper, as if it were a ratchet, and by the way, as the water pressure presses on the watch, it does not accidentally allow the face to rotate. So the water pressure itself holds the rotating face firmly in place.
I've got a couple, the classic blue Scuba dude and a full lume model. The ring back was actually a Blancpain patent in the 50's. The acrylic expands to grip bezel as soon as you heve 5atmos of pressure. They're just like a ford tractor, basic but bulletproof. Try Meranom for retail, they're reliable and answear emails😂 So yeah, subbed
Any serious watch collectors should have a Vostok Ampibia, a Seagull 1963, an Orient Kamasu, a Seiko Alpinist, a Rolex Datejust, and an Omega Aqua Terra.

That's awesome! I love it.
Sounds great with a black bezel..Any chance of a photo?

Russian ingenuity.
Nice example. Vostok movements are quite easy to regulate to about +5s/d. I don't love the 2416b with the date - it's not quick.
Cheers 🍻!
That is what I heard. If I had it more as a daily I would definitely want to regulate it.

Thank you so much for the sub! Definitely bulletproof that's for sure.
