Not really. Did you get a good look at the "restoration". He looks nothing like himself. The guy knows nothing about animatronics and actually discarded everything that wasn't "Doll." And he cleaned and smoothed the fabric and threw away the original latex and skin. It's a horrible ending.
And now fans are waiting for the Five Nights At Freddy's movie, to be honest the animatronics don't look bad at all, I'm happy. I'm sure the film is in great hands and they won't disappoint the fnaf community. :]
The great thing about the original TMNT movie is that the film was done with an otherwise low budget with the intent of hiring JHCS to build the puppets and suits. And that worked for the movie's benefit. The film's gritty quality in tandem with the sophisticated Turtle and Splinter practical effects gives it a weird realism. An 80's martial arts aesthetic for the film, preventing it from going full blown cartoonish and bright colored, equaling the original comic's indie feel. Of course, they ruin the hell out of this in the sequel by making it a wacky, goofy, kid's toy commercial that made the 80's cartoon look like 2K3 by comparison, but at least the Animatronics on that one were good.
Honestly I wished they’d go back to do animatronics for the Ninja Turtles instead of whatever the hell Michael Bay did to them. Hope they’ll at least look accurate in the Seth Rogen reboot.
I LOVE the country bears! I love the songs and the story! Maybe it’s because this was a childhood movie for me! I don’t know, I love the attraction and the film! I will always be a fan of this movie!
I hope puppetry, animatronics, stop-motion & claymation productions stay alive. It’s so fascinating. The amount of creativity and imagination that goes into these productions is incredible. I would love to see Dark Crystal & Never Ending Story in Part 2!

Honestly I'd prefer it that way. At least every movie based on a ride is unique and something we havent seen before regardless of quality. Also even the country bears movie was better than Mulan 2.0 so let em dabble in the ride movies again and give them time to sit in timeout from the remakes
The difference is, there was ONE successful ride based movie, where as the others they tried were massive failures. Of course, that one re-imagined the concept into a well done action movie concept which lead to a franchise, and the others were throwaway raucous family comedy films. Haunted House being the worst example, and what killed any interest in any non-POTC ride movies until Jungle Cruise. As for the live action remakes, they DID do the remakes long before the rides. Let's not forget there are 2 101 Dalmatian live action movies, as well as a completely forgotten live action Jungle Book remake. And don't get me started on the live action cartoon series remakes which only had ONE good movie. At least with their live action remakes they're "ruining" their own classics and not dragging Underdog's name through the mud.
You forgot the animatronic-suits used in 'Where The Wild Things Are', which the Creature Shop played a significant role in. (much more impressive than 'The Country Bears' >( ) And what the animatronics/puppets used in the 'StoryTeller'?! Beautiful, AND amazing feats of engineering themselves! =)
You have unlocked so many memories for me reminding me of The Country Bears. It was one of my favorites to watch bc I absolutely love bears. At one point I thought I made it up bc it wasn’t talked about much and I couldn’t remember the exact name for the life of me as a kid. Definitely going to watch it again when I get the chance

I really liked this video. All of these were a walk down memory lane and I didn't even KNOW they did the Country Bears and 101 Dalmations. Muppet Christmas Carol is still my favorite version of the tale followed by Jim Carrey one. I'd love to see Dark Crystal in the next video but that one could be a video all on its own if you talk about the work they've done for the netflix show too

Muppets and Animatronics are 2 cool things I like, plus the TMNT are real cool as well. For some resin I could see a Animatronic TMNT character or character from the theme, plus the robot that Donatello made an called Metalhead as cool looking animatronics for some kind of ride.

The Country Bears movie was one of my favorites. I watched it sooooo much as a kid and was endlessly fascinated by it. The bears of course were my favorite part of the film. The bear characters and scenery really makes it worth watching 💗🐻
"Getting the Band Back Together" isn't an entirely original trope. Even Ghostbusters 2 had elements of getting the group back together when the first one is basically getting the band together in the first place. One of the many reasons I dislike GB2, actually.
