“Smile my boy, it’s sunrise” watching this after his death, hits me in my damn heart. It makes me feel like Robin was talking to us, the audience, telling us not to cry, not to mourn for him. He’s happy where he is now, he’s at peace.
@@oomfoof7294 He likely knows that. But, since his death, he is simply saying that it's a sentiment Robin would have likely wanted to say. He wouldn't want us to be sad he's gone, but happy that we got him in the first place.
This scene brought me to tears when I saw it in the theaters. This wasn't Williams' last film before his passing, but it sure felt like it. It was as if we were really saying goodbye to him. Mr. Williams...thank you for giving us laughter, and inspiring this girl to be awkward and funny and embrace every minute it.
It is because of Robin Williams portrayal of Teddy Roosevelt I am who I am today. Because of his performance I wanted to learn more about Teddy and as a result I learned more about the presidents and the US history. Robin Williams is the reason why I am a history major.

+indemaPIMP As the last line I will probably ever hear from Robin on the big screen, it holds so much power for me. I honestly still get choked up when I hear it.
I've always felt that that "BULLY!" jumpscare was not just Teddy, but Robin Williams himself, going out with one last joke (In particular, the playful "Gotcha" right after it felt more like Williams himself than like Teddy). Another reason why this scene is so sad is because the famous statue of Theodore Roosevelt on a horse with the native Black African & the Native American standing on the right side and left side of the horse that stood at the museum front entrance for decades is now gone forever
'Tis no secret there were some attempts to get rid of that statue long before the 21st century. But the protests and riots of 2020 gave the museum a convenient excuse to remove it.

Here I am looking back at these great legends we have lost 2 years ago. Yet still they break my heart. Here I am crying thinking about death, thinking about how there's nothing after it. I wish I was still living in the good old days. The days where we were surrounded by legends like Robin. I want to go back to when Jurassic Park was first released, and Jaws shook everyone from going in the water. Now, here in 2017, I have nothing truly to say about how amazing it is, for it is not amazing at all. I would give everything to be a kid again.... everything. And to think that this is the only life I have is sad....

It's even more heartbreaking when you know he's gone. He will always be in our hearts. We will miss you Robin.
One of the greatest men in history playing one of the greatest men in history.
you've done your job, sweet Robin... :( R.I.P
No one can ever replace Robin Williams he will be so missed
Im sad they are removing this man statue
Don't cry because its over, smile because it happened.
????
I still can't believe people want the statue of Theodore Roosevelt taken down! He was the highest rated president of all time!
He's a straight White male in a position of power, so he must be racist. - SJW logic.
Sunrise was/IS/will always be a symbol of hope for mankind.
Thank you Robin Williams.
I forgot just how much I enjoyed this movie, it's just so fun and charming. Robin Williams really was one of a kind, just a wonderful man who brought so much joy and laughter to this world. We miss you, Robin. :(
Here I am looking back at these great legends we have lost 2 years ago.
We have the MCU
Misa Amane still not the same. It doesn’t have the wonder and childlike amazements. That sense of adventure and discovery and that you will be going on a special adventure.
