Conan's very first episode was just 2 months before this and his first musical guest was Radiohead who performed their first single, Creep. And then just 2 months later he's got Bjork here performing her first (solo) single, Human Behavior. Conan, Bjork, Radiohead, the 1990's: peak civilization.

Whenever I play Björk, my wife says, “I just don’t understand. You LIKE this? I don’t even understand what I’m listening to.”
I’ve been explaining my fascination with her since the 90s. I tell people you can’t try to understand her by reflecting on anything you’ve seen/heard before. Instead, imagine you’ve wandered into a mystical forest and suddenly encounter a fairy or some other mythical entity. She cannot be easily understood as a human because she is such a unique creature. Just close your eyes and listen to this ethereal being tell you about the world through her eyes.
