@BIGMURDERDRONESFAN7000 true, but nearly every hit a Jigglypuff gets on Ganon should almost certainly kill him. Ganondorf has a hard time hitting small characters to begin with and Jigglypuff can simply carry him offstage with aerials, which should be as good as gg for that stock
@@mrmediocre848 i play ganon too as a secondary and i can tell you right now at the level of play amuc and major play at, its never as simple as “oh just ___ and they die”. if the player piloting the character is good, it takes good coverage and reads/player familiarity to kill off one interaction no matter what character you play
@BIGMURDERDRONESFAN7000 although true to a certain extent, there were numerous times where amuc demonstrated why this matchup is impossible. You combo Ganondorf for days, stuff out a lot of his aerials, and carry him offstage and gimp him with ease. Major had really good recoveries to avoid a lot of amuc's edgeguards, but recovering only means you get another chance of trying to win neutral against Jigglypuff. The only reason the matchup isn't impossible is because Jigglypuff doesn't have a lot of range, which plays into their weakness against disjoints and camping characters. Unfortunately, Ganondorf doesn't do either of those well, so has to work really hard to land a hit, which is unlikely to lead to anything else. The whole set felt like amuc would exploit the matchup and then stop or do something stupid. He had some rest confirms on point, but he'd also do some ballsy rests, the last one killing himself before Major stomped the life out of him
The fact that Ganondorf gets punished after landing a hit that takes a lot of work and risk is just disgusting and frustrating. Kudos to you with the awesome techs.

Thanks to Major and MGK, I managed to bring my Ganondorf from 9 mil to 14.5 mil gsp in a cpuple of months.
That ending was sooo cathartic.
Seriously, there shouldn't be a reason for Jigglypuff to lose the +2.9 matchup.
